First of all, sorry if this is a repeat topic.
I've just been thinking about this a lot lately as I'll be going into my senior year this Fall.
I'm not entirely sure I want to walk at graduation. I completely understand that it's kind of meaningful as a ceremony, and a lot of people do it because they feel they deserve to.
I've just never been one for the big ceremony aspects of things. I think I'd be quite happy to just pick up my diploma and have a party with friends and family.
What do you think?
Do you think you'll walk at graduation?
Is anyone having the same feelings towards it that I am?

Walking can actually be pretty fun, especially if you go to a school full of geeks. We did some goofy things, making weird poses for the cameras. One of my friends walked across the stage without shoes because she was wearing heels all day. So my ceremony was kind of like a party in itself.
If you go to a more stuffy, straight laced school I can understand and the wait is excruciating.
