The massive mountain has been turned into a fortress for the Illithid's. Three large entrances that allow for large shipments of slaves have been heavily fortified. Barricades, trenches, a moat, and a draw bridge. Three watch towers per entrance, and what appears to be constant vigilance of entire tree line.
A few hours observation of each entrance will tell you that each is guarded by at least ten at every moment-- but due to inability to distinguish between these monsters makes it hard to tell.
The smaller entrances are guarded by two or three depending upon the size of the entrance.
More examination will show that there were forced cave-ins at many points to close of extra entrances into this fortress-- Perhaps one with experience at finding weak points in a fortress could find an unguarded entrance.

Rashel hid behind a bush looking at the area. After about an hour two, they had finally found it. Looking over Raymond she made a follow me signal. Army crawling behind the bushes made them pratically unable to be spotted by the monsters. Trying to look for any other openings, she squinted to look at the farther parts. Unable to see anything but a few of the smaller towers she whispered to Raymond, "Do you see any other enter points?" Quickly glancing the area, there were none of the monsters near them at the moment. Hopefully it would stay like this. Her gut though, told her otherwise.

Raymond had been following Rashel the whole time, keeping silent. He looked around the area, he saw one opening but it was guarded by some, weird creatures. "I don't see one that isn't guarded by..those things." He said silently

It dawns upon those watching it would take the best of infiltrators to get inside unnoticed, and there were few places you could fine those-- even in the thieves guild they would be rare. It was hard to tell how strong the creatures were, but even among the patrols only one in three carried a weapon.
Any means of feeling around in the mountain my magical means was blocked completely. It was obvious among these creatures there were powerful magicians.

Raymond then had an idea, "I think there is a way," He said. "I can make a distraction to have those creatures come over in that direction, then we can sneak in."

""It's a bit too risky, what if they call an alarm?" Rashel asked him and peered at the towers. Muttering a curse under her breath, she told him, "We might have to kill them. If that's even possible, look over there." She whispered and pointed to a group of them, "If only one is carrying a weapon, then the other two might have a few tricks up their sleeves." Putting a finger on her temple, she tried thinking of a plan. "If anything had water in it I could probably freeze it. Yet, I can't freeze blood so that's useless." Trying to think of what to do was making her a bit frustrated. "Maybe we'll have to find other factions to help us." Rashel hated the idea of getting help, but it was the only thing she could think of.

Raymond sighed, "I do not feel like waiting for them to come, I say we try to sneak past their line of sight. That or killing them, you choose." He smiled slightly.

"That's probably impossible to do, so let's just kill them." Rashel told him and smiled but then it faded, "If anything happens, we need to retreat as soon as possible." Crawling, she made it to a shadowed corner where she blended into the darkness. Opening the giant water case on her back, she tilted her body to spill some and froze the water. Turning it into small ice daggers she peeked over to the monsters and shot one of the ice daggers at a monster. "Here comes the hell." She muttered before running to them ready for action. She left the water jug on her back open and spilled it on the monsters before freezing them. Unfortuantly, trying to keep the three frozen in such thin ice would be hard.

((I thought I made it clear. Oh well. I am controlling the NPC's. Treat them like you would another PC during combat Also, are you attacking one with what appears to be 2 sentries or 10?))

(( The about 2-3 sentries Okay, so I'll wait every fighting post with the NPC's so you can write. I tried not making it auto and I let escape from the ice be easy just in case. I tried reading how fighting would be, but it was unclear to me. ))

The creatures responded quickly, the thrown dagger was slowed before it hit its target, though it still found its way partially into the . One of the three drew a long sword and stepped forward, removing the dagger. The other two took a step back turning toward the attack. They raised their arms and prepared for the assault. The water hit an invisible barrier passing to both sides. Rashel found herself being suddenly buffeted by invisible forces, attempting to first throw her off balance.

Rashel nearly fell from the invisible forces and the shock of her concentration being blown to quickly, but she easily kept her balance. "You think that will stop me?" She asked them before she lifted the ice that had fell from their shields and let it drop on them again, this time from the top. Wetting a knife, she threw it at them from below. Pulling out her whip, she snapped it out and used the water from the jug to coat that too before freezing it into having spikes all around it. Yet, the weapon was still flexible enough to not crack any of the ice. Stepping up she mumbled, "What? Is playing fair too hard?"
Rose arrived and watched everything unfold. Maybe I can get these people to help me. She pulled a few faceless wooden dolls out, they silently ran through the area, quickly getting closer to the squid faced things. They look repulsive. Taking a few deep breaths, she shut her eyes and opened them to look at her other dolls. The first one had razorblades for fingers that silently hopped onto the back of one and went for a clean beheading kill.

The creature with a weapon fell turned into a pin cushion, but the other two were able to repel most of the daggers but each were hit by a few. With a screech one sent a mental blast at Rashel, It would feel like someone was attempting to tear her mind in half. The other felt a string of magic enter their barrier and sent its own blast of energy along the string. The blasts would cause no permanent damage but should the enemy not have a strong will power they would be briefly stunned allowing for a spell or two to be cast.

Rashel fell back at the pain that had struck her somewhere in her brain. Trying to get back up, her vision blurred for a second but came back. When she was standing once again, she felt like she was going to faint a bit, but she still attempted to use the whip. Lashing out at them, the crack of the whip had made no noise as it's deadly spikes went for the neck of the monster.
Seeing the magic that traveled across her string made Rose panic as she quickly released it before she was fully stunned. Still she was hit and did get stunned for a minute or two. You're not getting away that easily. She thought and began muttering a spell. Pulling out an arrow and grabbing her bow, she shot two arrows that were blazing with a black magic that radiated evil.
((In a bit I will have to color code my people.))
