History:Amara was born into a family of mages.Her father being a fire mage, her mother an earth mage and her older brother learned ice magic from her grandfather while she was born with water magic with a special gift.Their family was known for its elemental bloodline, however they've never heared about a water mage being able to produce from their own bodies.Her parents later found out that she had the blood of an ancestor who was the dragon of water.Aquallifea, A dragon who fell in love with the the a man from their clan.The dragon shapeshifted to look human and pursued to win the mortal's heart.Years after they wed, Aquallifea bore several children but only a third inherited her dragonic blood.Time passed and many from the Mai clan thought the famed dragon- blood had died out, So when Amara was born, she was more pampered, and didn't really focus on bettering herself in magic.Because Amara was only half-dragon she wasn't gifted the ability to change into a dragon like the previous generations who's blood was stronger.The only inhuman changes were that her senses were sharper, Her eyes were slightly slitted and glowed faintly.Her smell rivalled that of a wolf and was just as sensitive as her hearing.From time to time, amara craved blood.The physical difference in her were that her nails were like razors and so were her teeth, and due to her dragon blood she gained inhuman strength.
As she grew up, Amara was given lessons to help control her powers, because as a child she was very emotional thus causing her magical power to amplify, it didn't help that her parents would spoil her either.One day, Amara was lazing about in a nearby lake, capturing little fishes in bubbles and having them float around when she heared an explosion.That put her on guard as she raced back to her home, she saw several buildings on fire and people running away.When Amara found her family she went to aid them, but noticed her mother missing. Fear grew inside her as she ran around looking for her, nearly swallowing her whole as she found her mother fighting a losing battle.Anger,fear and helplessness consumed her, rising her magic level to a high level.With a fierce cry, she forced every water source at her mother's attacker.She ended up flooding the whole town.Amara realized that she was weak and could have helped her family if she actually knew how to use her magic, she stopped behaving like a spoiled brat and worked on bettering herself as a mage and a person.
