The ambulance brought Ashley to the Emergency Room where she went under a blood transfusion and countless examinations. She had a crushed foot, injuried arm and bite marks on her neck. They wrapped a gaze around her neck and wrapped her arm and foot really good. The also believed that there was some trauma to the head and they have to keep her waka for a certain amount of time for at least 48 hours.
Ashley was propped up and laying against the mattress, under some strong pain medication, feeling not only dazed but lonely as well.

Litha poked her head in Ashley's room, feeling a little timid. She was feeling anxious, both because she was so close to seeing Ashley awake and because the tune Lyon had been whistling was haunting her a bit. If she wasn't mistaken, it was exactly the same as Caetus' tune. She turned back to Lyon. "You go in first," she said, feeling self-conscious.

Ashley looks over and sees Lyon and she also thought she saw Litha. Memories had started to flash in her head about Caetus, attacking her. She lowers her gaze. "Uh...I guess...I'm doing okay...considering." She spoke in a hoarse voice and tries clearing her throat some but her neck was numb.

Litha heard Ashley talking and thought it was safe to go in, but she now knew that the girl was awake. She walked in as quietly as she could and offered a small smile. "Hi, Ashley. You seem to be doing better than... When I last saw you," she said awkwardly. She tried to hide herself partially behind Lyon. Good job, Lith... Great start.

The blond shakes her head. "Only a fire...and pain...the doctors think I hit my head or that I have some mental block of the entire experience." Ashley says, laying her head against a pillow. "And I think...I saw some guy...with red eyes."

Litha was relieved. Ashley didn't remember. "Mental block, huh? Well I'm sure you can remember things with time and therapy," she said, hoping nothing she'd just said was true. "Why do you have gauze around your neck?" she ventured, wanting to know what explanation Ashley had conjured in her mind for her bite marks.

Ashley puts her hand on the gauze around her neck. "They found some holes in my neck. It's nothing major." Ashley says looks over at Litha and lightly smiles. "I remember that you tried to help me...thank you." Ashley says. She then moans in pain some as she turns her head against her pillow, feeling her bruises ribs hurting again.

Litha wrinkled her nose a little, feeling something akin to guilt, though she recognized it as disgust. She covered up with a smile and ran a hand through her hair as it turned back to its usual platinum shade. Ashley seemed to be in pain all of a sudden and Litha stared blankly, not sure if she was supposed to help. Humans were so fragile. "Er... What's wrong?" she asked, wondering if she would pass out again. A part of her hoped she would since unconscious girls made easy targets, and Litha was getting hungry again, especially after the incident at the lake. When she thought of it, the place where she'd been stabbed began to sting again slightly.

Ashley shakes her head no. "I'll be fine...it's just my ribs...they're bruised." Ashley says as the pain started to dull. She looks over with frighten eyes, something unlike her at all, "please don't leave yet." She spoke in a sad voice as she was on the verge of tears.

Litha was at a loss - Lyon seemed to know how to deal with sick people. Litha only knew how to attempt to get them out of dangerous situations and then drink their blood. "Wanna go back to sleep?" she asked bluntly, shifting her weight to one side.
