XXXXXXXXXXXX Haru Nayammii XXXXXXXX ✄---------------------------------------------------------- • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •
The day started off just lovely.. The sky was out, bright and shining, yet the air was nice and cool. Haru had just got off at the bus stop and arrived at the cafe before wandering out to the back room to change into his work uniform. He was glad to have a job like this. it was so calming and pleasant. No one would pick on him there. He attracted the customers who were fan of neko cosplay too. Even though he was nowhere near cosplaying. It was how he was. Being a neko that is. He was fine with himself, but society begged to differ. Those were the reasons he looked at to keep himself in an upbeat mood. That and also he would get to see 'him' again. He took out menus for people who arrive early. "Welcome to the cafe!" is what he would always say when greeting people who were coming in for their morning coffee. Some were usual, constant customers and others merely skimmers who came by once in a wile. As early customers began to come in one by one, he quickly took their order. Being as kind and professional as he could. Haru was usual able to make anyone like him, seeing as how he was just so pleasant to be around.
Soon after taking their orders, Haru walked all the way to the bar where the coffee was made and gave the bartender their orders. He sat on one of the high chairs as he waited for the coffee to be maid to deliver it back to the people. "I wonder when he will come today..." he thought. The sight of 'him' always made him so happy. Once the orders were done, he walked around the cafe giving everyone their coffee. His ears flickering slightly as he thanks the people and gave them what they had asked for. Waiting on each one when needed. A long white tail swaying neatly behind him as he wandered around the cafe. Occationally, his glossy blue eyes glancing over at the door to check if anyone else was coming. After time passed, a soft sigh escaped his pale lips, running his porcelain like fingers through his soft teal hair.

Akira White ╔══════════════════════════════╗ Today it was hot. From the sunrise Akria couldn't stay in his bed to long because it felt like it was burning up. The air conditioner in his house didn't work. No matter where he went, weather it was inside or out, Akira just felt hot. It a didn't help that there wasn't a single thing that could keep him cool in his fridge. The male snorted as he closed his fridge and sat on his couch. Then it hit him. The cafe down the street had this nice ice cold Mocha latte that he enjoyed oh so much. Akria checked his wallet to make sure he had some cash then headed outside. Instead of driving or taking his bike, he decided to walk. By the humidity in the air, he could tell it was going to rain soon but he figured he'd be back home before it did. Thank god, since it was going to rain, Akira could possibly get a good nap.
Just like he thought, Akira was at the cafe in no time. There was really no point in wasting gas or taking his bike, although he would have been there much faster if he did. Akira would come to this cafe from time to time. He wouldn't call himself a regular yet but he did like to come here the most. Akira did however sit in the same place near the window every time. He figured it was closer to the door so if he ever needed a smoke he could just run out and have one. At time to time Akira would bring his sketch book and draw the things around him such as a customer drinking coffee or the snack he bought and even the male waiter. This time the male did bring his sketchbook. Akira took his book out and a pencil and began doing a small sketch of a cake that was on a stand a couple meters away as he waited for someone to take his order.╚══════════════════════════════╝

Haru sat silently in the white leather bar stool as his gaze remaining out the large glass walls of the cafe. The sun seems to be shining quite nicely today, luckily he had gotten to work before the heat wave came in. The cafe was nicely conditioned, seeing as how all the cakes and treats and what not needed to stay cool. Haru loved the sun and the heat. It was one of his most favorite things besides his job. He couldn't wait for his shift to get over so he could go off into the sun. Then again, he wasn't off for a while, and usually around those parts, right after a heat wave was a rain storm. Emitting a soft sigh from his pale lips at the thought, Haru continued to gaze aimlessly into the window. It wasn't till he heard a customer calling him over did he snap from his over active imagination. "Oh! I'll be right there!" He muttered, quickly grabbing the fresh pot of coffee upon the heater and wandered over to the customer who got his attention. With his usual kind smile, he poured the lady more coffee and got her a few things that she requested. Her returning the favor with a kind smile. Thats why he liked his job. People were actually nice to him here unlike the outside world.
As he just got done tending to another customer, his white neko ear flickered slightly after hearing the front door open and close. He blinked his large, pale blue eyes and glanced around to see whom had entered. It was then did he feel his heart practically tingle. It was like there were butterflies roaming in his belly causing him to feel all ticklish and antsy. It was him! She had always noticed this male when ever he entered the cafe. He wasn't quite a regular, but he came enough for Haru to be able to recognize him. Quickly calming himself, the young neko took a deep breath and tucked a lock of his teal hair behind his ear. Wandering over to the counter, he grabbed a notepad and went off to take the males order. "Morning... Can I help you?" He questioned softly, forcing off a small smile to the corner of his lips as he spoke to the familiar male. His ears flat against his head seeing as how inside, he was rather nervous to be around the male. His tail wrapped silently around his thigh. It wasn't till something caught his attention wile waiting for the other to reply did he think of anything else. He had a sketch book? He liked to Sketch? Was he an artist? In all he was curious to see how well he was at it, though didn't want to appear rude.

Akira White ╔══════════════════════════════╗ Akira focused on as much detail as he could while he was sketching the sweet looking cake. Perhaps he'll order it with his drink. To some the sweet ice latte and the cake may be to much but to Akira it was nothing. He may not look like one for sweets but this guy enjoyed it. He loved anything from candy to pastries and more. Matter of fact he liked food in general. That was another thing, Akira loved to cook. When he lived with his mother, he'd always cook her a five star meal. The problem was since Akira lived alone, he'd always cook for two and had to much after. Oh well, at least he didn't have to cook for the next day. The thought of his mother reminded him about his father. Father..Oh that's right. He needed to call the hospital to check on his father. The same father who left his mother for another wife. The same father who all of a suddenly wanted him around due to his new wife not wanting a dying husband and called for a divorce. The thought of his father made Akira stop drawing for a moment. He'll call his father. After he's done eating.
All that thinking almost caused Akira to forget where he was and what he was actually drawing. If it wasn't from the male voice coming from his side, he'd probably still be thinking. Akira looked down at what he thought was barely perfect drawing then up at the navy blue haired male. Akira recognized the male as the waiter. He quickly remembered that the male went by Haru. It took Akira a quick second for him to gather his thoughts before he spoke. ❝ Hello and good moring.❞ Akira said with a small smile. ❝ And how are you on this hot day? ❞Akira asked as he put his pencil down. ╚══════════════════════════════╝

Haru had hardly noticed how spaced out the other seemed to be. He was in as much of though as he was. Though instead of personal issues, Haru's mind was focusing in on the familiar males sketch book. Slowly, he tilted his head to the side to get a better look at the sketch he appeared to be working on. It was of a cake... And at that, it was very good and detailed. The shading and proportion was basically perfect. It was then did Haru notice how familiar the pastry appeared. Silently, he blinked his large pale eyes and glanced over to the side, seeing the slice of cake he had been sketching resting neatly upon the stand. It reminded him of something. His father was an artist. A very goo one at that. People would always purchase his artwork and request personal paintings from him. His father was always an interesting fellow that Haru looked up to. Though sadly he had just recently passed. The feeling of grief and sorrow had passed, but sadness in the fact still lingered from time to time. Haru loved his father more than anything, though in his eyes, death was a natural happening. Its inevitable. Besides, he knew his father wouldn't want him grieving over him constantly.
It wasn't till the other male finally spoke in return did his mind come back to reality. His attention was quickly drawn as his eyes flew up, meeting the others. At that moment he could feel the tingles running down his spine once again. Butterflies taunting him in his belly like before. He wasn't sure how to start a conversation with this male. He had done it plenty of times before with others, but this. This was different. It was like a wall was placed in front of his social skills, leaving him in a nervous wreck. Giving off another small smile at his comment, Haru silently rubbed the back of his head in search of words to respond. He spoke, his voice soft yet friendly and his smile was calm and welcoming though deep down he was in a flustered mess. "Yeah, I heard it was rather hot today, I haven't experienced it myself, hehe." He commented, trying his hardest not to let the conversation die. "Oh... I see you like sketching. Your quite good at it." A light rosy red pigment began to appear across Haru's cheeks at the thought of what he said, though he managed to keep it going. "Akira-kun, right?" He a tad more nervously this time, his fingers fiddling with the pen and pad in his hands as another thought crossed his mind. He probably just wants his order, which made him feel bothersome.

╔══════════════════════════════╗ Akira noticed that the small male's attention wasn't just only on him but also his sketch pad. The small smile on his faced grew a bit. It was nice to see someone else who enjoyed art. It didn't have to be his art, but just art in general. ❝ That's good to know.❞ Akira said with a nod. He quickly took a glance around the store before looking at Haru again. ❝ Well you're lucky. It's hotter then a desert out there.❞ Akira responded as went to close his book. How ever, he paused as the smaller male commented on his picture of the cake. ❝ You think so? Thanks. I've been drawing since my mother gave me my first pencil and piece of paper. ❞ The male nodded as Haru got his name right. He chuckled slightly as Haru added the 'kun' part. It had been a while since that was added onto his name. It was kind of cute hearing it fromt he male. ❝You don't have to ad the kun. Akira is just fine. And you're Haru right?❞╚══════════════════════════════╝

Haru nodded slightly in return before glancing out the glass walls once again to the sunny outside. It can't be that hot, he thought to himself. Then again he hadn't stepped outside to check yet so he wasn't going to protest. He couldn't help but emit a soft friendly chuckle at Akira's comment about drawing since he was given a pencil and some paper. He did love art. He would try to sketch from time to time, and wasn't bad at all, but neither the best. It was an unfound passion. Though, once he was corrected about adding 'kun' at the end of his name, his cheeks flustered up to a light pink color once again and refused to die down. "Oh... Alright." he muttered softly, forcing a small smile out as he did to seem normal, though on the inside he felt like he had just made a fool of himself. He was just so use to referring to people as such. The only reason he knew the strangers name in the first place was because he remembered him mentioning it before at one point. Haru smiled slightly once again as he got his name right, causing chills to run down his spine once again, giving off a small nod. "Yeah, thats it." He spoke, his smile now a bit larger. He couldn't help but just stand there, his eyes set at a gaze towards the other. It wasn't for another moment or two did he notice the silence and blink in thought, rubbing the back of his neck in embarrassment as his ears flickered from time to time. "Oh.. Heh.. So, what is it you wanted?" The small teal haired male asked to break the tension he was giving off. He kept feeling like he was acting like a ditz and tried to avoid it as much as he could.

╔══════════════════════════════╗Akira noticed the other male's cheeks turn from peachy to what seemed to be a bright pink. The look on the boy's face made Akira chuckle. " He's really cute.." The male thought to himself as he gave Haru a smile back. For some reason he felt that the smaller male felt a little uncomfortable around him. Even if that wasn't the case, it's what Akira thought. Maybe it was his voice. At times he was told that the tone of his voice seemed a tad cold and scary..Even if he meant to come off as nice and welcoming. Maybe it was the tattoos that spread along his shoulder down and faded like some weird disease like thing. His ex always use to tell him that his tattoos made him look like he was part of some gang. Then it hit him. It could also be his face in general. Although Akira was quite handsome.. he never made facial expressions that would show his more welcoming and happy side. Not that the whole 'mysterious, handsome, cool, artist, ' look was a problem for the girls ( and guys) who happened to be looking at him from a far. And it didn't help that he didn't talk much in the first place. So Akira was trying his best to put on a smile, speak and give a 'im not a scary weirdo' vibe towards Haru. For a moment Akira forgot what he came in the cafe to do. It wasn't just to sit and draw cake that's for sure. Then the sudden smell of coffee made him remember. ❝Oh.. right. Umm.. I came here to have that nice ice Mocha Latte. I had it a few days ago and I loved it a lot, so I would like it again. Um.. That and a piece that delicious looking cake over there on the stand. Caramel cake I believe. Did you make that? ❞╚══════════════════════════════╝
