"Let the rain wash away what I've done."
After a short walk from the train station on the outskirts of Karakura Town Chiyo approached a massive forest. There were no sign posts, but looking hard enough along the edge one could see a pathway in the forest that was paved that led directly to the Water Shrine. As it was the main way into the Shrine it held the most spiritual protection, for obvious reasons, but the barriers her family erected around the shrine were strong enough to stop even Espada/Captains from entering its confines without proper invitation. She would have to increase the capabilities of the barrier later on to make sure of this though. As she crossed the barrier a ripple formed in the barrier before fading into nothingness.
It took a short walk before her home was within view, and calling out she had hope to get a nice response. "Ma, Dad, are you guys home!"
After a bit she went into the ancient looking home to find a lot more modern conveniences; after a trip upstairs she laid on her bed and stared at the ceiling. Thinking on the events that transpired today, the sound of a few hawks could be heard out back cawing for food. The hawks were used to send and receive letters from what use to be the other shrines around Karakura town, yet having lost contact with them due to hollow and shinigami intrusions and various battles, the hawks were now jobless.
So any things are about to happen: Saza's return after five years, another Elemental, Arrancar have been increasing in town lately, now i have to start training just to survive a war... how did i get dragged into this mess? what was the start of it all? When did the cogs of Fate begin to turn... Who knows, maybe destiny has a bigger plan for you Chiyo..
Chiyo sat up in bed, the twilight dusk ridden sky easily viewed from her window as is cast its benevolent light upon her. "Hello? Is anyone there? Hello? Who was that just now? It sounded so.... close, yet so far at the same time..."
After a few moments pondering, Chiyo lay down about her bed waiting her families return and falling asleep.
