"Off of a major highway, tucked behind a small forest lies a hotel with many rooms available. It is a grand hotel made of glass walls and steel beams, that reaching into the sky. This hotel has all the amenities, a bowling alley, a billiard room, an Olympic size swimming pool, an all you can eat buffet, a mall with many high end stores and restaurants of the finest caliber. an eighteen hole golf course, a spa and sauna adjacent to their gym which also holds a dojo, a boxing ring, and personal trainers at the ready. The grounds have a majestic waterfall at the road entrance where vehicles must pass through in order to reach the hotel. This hotel is known only to the most lavish of guests usually but they welcome all. So come and stay for a night or two, who knows you might bump elbows with a celebrity!"

The rules are quite simple. Follow them and we won't have to call the guards and have you escorted out of the hotel.
First and foremost be respectful to your fellow guests.
Second: Please try and guidelines set by Gaia.
Third: This is meant to be a test run for RP Characters, an introduction for new role players, and fun for the whole world (guild), so enjoy yourselves.
Fourth: There will be times when people won't respond right away, I encourage many of you to continue on with or without others, explore the grounds, make discoveries, use imagination! Also if the idea for a character isn't working out for you, have your character "check out" of the hotel where you can return later or you can go and create a new character to enter the Hidden Oasis Hotel and Resort.
Fifth: Any seasoned role players should take it upon themselves to help the inexperienced with their role playing by speaking while using ( these parenthesis) to express a question or make a quick comment. But remember to not use them constantly.
Sixth: Try and keep this tasteful. Meaning at most PG 13. Rated E for Everyone.
Seventh: Remember when Role Playing to quote the person you're interacting with so they will be reminded that you posted.
Anything else I've forgotten will be added later. For now I think this is a good start.

*Sitting in the back room, Leon sits at the desk working on paperwork.*
"Phew... these guys weren't kidding. The hospitality business sure has a lot of paperwork. Make sure the guests are comfortable, always have your attention, never go without, and are always greeted with a smile. It's almost too much for me to handle... especially with all the concerns of the employees racking up each day. We need more towels, there's no more ice, did we always have a chair there? Some times they can be so inconsiderate. Well no matter. We must press on. Sir what about the front desk? Do they think me a complete moron!? I left a bell and sign that says ring for service and check in... I believe that will sufficient for now, or at least until the rest of the head staff get here. What a nuisance, you let them take a vacation all at once and they never even bother to send one lousy postcard.
*He shifts through papers and jots down numbers and people, then quickly let's his hands fly across the key board as he types in numbers into the proper cells of his data sheets.*"

Alyssa entered the hotel and found the front lobby area empty. She looked around trying to find someone to help her. She walked up to the front desk and read the 'Ring bell for service' sign. She thought for minute before ringing the bell. Should I check in with without my business partner? She was supposed to be here already. Alyssa looked at her watch and wondered if Jen was already in the room. She rang the bell and waited for someone to come and check her in.

A customer, oh crap..." *With a crash and thud he quickly came whirling around the corner to the front desk.* "May I help you miss?"

Alyssa couldn't help but to smile at the man coming to help her. He looked like he had just woken up. He looked to be in a panic and also kind of disheveled. The man seemed pleasant enough though. Yes, yes you can help me. I have a room booked for my business partner Jen and myself, and I was just wondering if she has already checked into the room, or am I here first?

"One moment, I'll take a look." *Leon places his right hand on the mouse and looks at the computer screen in front of him. He clicks on current guests.* "Hmm... I don't see anyone named Jen on the guest sheet. So I think you're the first. Welcome to the Hidden Oasis Resort!"
*Looks down at a card board cut out on the counter meant to remind the front desk how to conduct themselves with guests.*
"Would you like to wait in our lobby's sitting area?" *He said with an automatonic voice.*

'Mary' crept into the lobby with her bag over one shoulder. She crept up to the desk and rang the bell three times.

Elyarne 'Mary' crept into the lobby with her bag over one shoulder. She crept up to the desk and rang the bell three times. "Ah one moment miss," Leon said as the young guest crept in and rang the bell.He turned back to the other customer. "If you would like to sit in our lobby it is right over there, unless you want to check in now and then wait... it's completely up to you.

Alyssa wasn't paying attention to Leon when he spoke to her the first time. As he repeated his statement again, she looked up at him. Oh Sorry I was daydreaming. I think I will wait in the lobby for a few minutes until she gets her or I get tired. Alyssa smiled again and began to walk toward the lobby. She looked around and found a spot for her belongings. She put everything down neatly and the approached Leon once again. Is there some place in here I could get a meal?

"Certainly, just head down pass the lobby where you will find a long hallway at the end of the hall is our dinning area. There we have over fifty restaurants to choose from, it is right next to our gaming area and conference center." *Leon directed. He looked down, grabbing a couple of food vouchers.* "And here are some coupon vouchers. Enjoy your meal!" Leon turned to the young lady who drumming fingers showed her impatience. "So sorry to keep you waiting, How may I help you today miss?" He said with a pleasant smile.

Elyarne "I'd like to check in." she said slowly. Wonderful. Do you have a reservation with us? If so if you could give me your name I could look it up on the computer.
