I don't know. Lazy I guess. the rewards are great so I don't see why not. Perhaps they don't have the confidence to win.
I'm interested. I just woke up razz Is that staff tournament still on today?
Saturday mornings and Sunday mornings are always so tired for me. Cuz I stay up extra late on Friday and Saturday night razz

Except for Sunday, Monday and Wensday I work 7am-3:30pm everyday and haven't been able to participate in the past tournies. If one ever was held on any of those days I'd love to participate. cat_ninja

I have a few suggestions. o.o; Maybe they'll help..
Perhaps some people don't have WiFi set up on their system. Maybe you guys should make a quick how to guide with links to the WiFi troubleshooting pages on the official Nintendo website.
Maybe its better to also be more selective about who joins the guild. Its set to automatically accept anyone but maybe you should make sure players actually have the game and an FC before they join.
For the most part, I ignore most announcements. I'll glance at them for half a second. Most of them time I just click on the announcement icon to get rid of them 'cuz Gaia spams you with all their lame cash shop solicitations. ninja Maybe the staff can each take a certain number of members and contact them directly via PM or profile comment giving them the time & date of upcoming guild events. Its more personal and might help get this place more active. A "hey, what's up? welcome to the guild! If you need any help, feel free to ask me" welcome message to all new members might help too.
o_o; I still need to beat the game. Been so distracted lately with offline priorities.
Another idea is to maybe use social media or Swapnotes to also notify members of upcoming events.

Gaia is full of distractions and very few guilds are successful so you really need to be creative in how you get attention from your members. I used to help run and revive dead guilds so I know a lot of time and effort is involved. Requires a lot of sacrifice to make a successful thread or guild on Gaia. Also time zones really ^%&*( up these things.

Unleash the Kaioken Gaia is full of distractions and very few guilds are successful so you really need to be creative in how you get attention from your members. I used to help run and revive dead guilds so I know a lot of time and effort is involved. Requires a lot of sacrifice to make a successful thread or guild on Gaia. Any and all assitance would be much appreciated! Just so ya know, the Orbitar Tournament will be held on Monday, 1:00 Eastern. Tell me if you're interested, and give me your FC.
