ღShe can't see the way your eyes
Light up when you smile
She'll never notice how you stop and stare
Whenever she walks byღ
ღAnd you can't see me wanting you
The way you want her
But you are everything to meღ
ღand I just wanna show you
She don't even know you
She's never gonna love you
Like I want toღ

Kimberly sat in the classroom as sunlight filtered in from the large windows. She was usually always first to class because she had so much to do before hand, or just nothing to do that early. She was currently working hard on her next painting. It was a still-life painting of a beautiful meadow with flowers and trees in the background. With each brushstroke was another piece to her art puzzle. She continued hard at work when she heard chirping outside the window. She turned and looked to see a small canary at the window looking at her. Kimberly smiled and went to the window and opened it. The bird jumped into her hands and chirped happily. "Friendly little fella aren't you," she said. The bird chirped. It wasn't looking at her, but at her painting. "Would you like to see it?" Kim asked the bird. It chirped as if to answer. Kimberly walked over to show her painting to the bird. It chirped happily. Kim smiled. "It's nice to see you appreciate it. Not many people appreciate art around here," she admitted. It was true. Most of the students that went to Reedwood were here for sports. The canary chirped once again before flying out of Kimberly's arms and out the window. She walked over to the window and watched it fly away. It looked so free and alive while Kimberly was stuck here. At least it wasn't so bad. Kimberly got to freely paint whenever she wanted. Something she never got to do at home.

ღAnd you just see right through me
But if you only knew me
We could be a beautiful miracle, unbelievable
Instead just invisibleღ
