mírαndα lчnn mєчєrsAll princes start as frogs and all gentlemen as dogs
Just wait till its plain to see
What we're growing up to be
Cause Some frogs will still be frogs
And Some dogs will still be dogs
Some boys could become men
Just don't kiss us 'til then.
You hate men is what you say and I understand how you feel that way
All girls dream of a fairy tale
But what you've got's like a used car salesman
Trying to conceal what's wrong behind a smile and the song
And I'm not saying that boys are not like that
But I think you should know (you should)
That some of us will grow

Miranda sat on the edge of the roof, her feet dangling over the side, her mind wandering. Where was Logan right now? Was he on his way to get them? Would he get here? She sighed softly, looking down at her linked hands in her lap. This was great, her worrying like this. It seemed like all she was doing lately was worrying over everything. And she hated worrying. But she just couldn't help it! She had to take care of Zach because Logan hasn't been around, and both of their parents were gone. She had to make sure he was always alright. Then now there was the constant threat of some undead thing turning up. Then there was Logan. He just kept coming back up because he was out there. He was fighting those zombie things, fighting for his life and theirs. It had to be a lot for him to carry too. But she was proud of his choices. He served the country for a while-- with their father-- and even kept going after he was gone. And he seriously moved up the ranks, he was the man in charge now. She smiled a little at the thought, her brother bossing people around. Yeah right, he didn't give orders. He asked for favors that were taken as orders. He wasn't a harsh person, he was careful and loving. He probably treated his troops like family. "I miss you Lo, Zach too. And Zeus has been off the walls without you." She looked up at the cloudy sky, blinking her dark eyes a few times. Oh Zeus, he was turning into a handful. Without Logan around, he was super restless. He just couldn't stay still. Sure, he was perfectly trained-- courtesy of big brother-- but he couldn't function without his other half. The two had never been apart for so long. For a while Logan used to take Zeus with him. But as he moved up the ranks, he just couldn't anymore. He didn't have time to make sure that he fed the shepherd and walked him. So he started leaving him home. At first it was okay, he was never gone for more than a month at a time without paying a quick visit. But now that these things were everywhere, it had been almost half a year. He would come back though, he had to. And when he did, Randie doubted that Zeus would let him go. Lo had had him since he was just a puppy, they grew up together. They watched out for each other. They were like the same person. And you couldn't separate two halves of a whole before things started to go wrong.

Just wait till its plain to see

And Some dogs will still be dogs

Just don't kiss us 'til then.
You found him is what you say
And we all want you to feel that way
But the frog you've got seems cute enough to kiss
And maybe frogs seem like that's all their is
But just because you haven't found your prince yet
Doesn't mean you're still not a princess
And what if if your prince comes riding in
While you're kissin' a frog what's he gonna think then
So look into his eyes
Are you a princess or a fly?
