 Location: ~ Pendant City -> Route 502 ~Sara wondered what Dune seemed so happy about. Maybe it was the trip? Yeah, that had to be it. Either way she was happy to be with someone instead of one her own, not that she really would be. “Yeah let’s go.” She agreed rushing off out of town. This was going to be fun she just knew it. --- On the road Sara was content. The sun was shining, pokemon were happy, and most of all Venonat seemed to be in the best of moods. “See any legendaries yet?” she asked Dune as they walked along the path to Adell. "Venonat." (No, not yet.) Venonat chimed in. How many people actually saw a legendary pokemon? Not a whole lot from what she recalled. Oh well, she wasn’t about to get her hopes up, that’s for sure. Team:  Venonat (M) - Lv. 14,  Stella (F) - Lv. 12

"Well, we're still pretty close to town," Dune said with a little kick in his step. "We might have to get further in before we spot any pokemon running round at all. But we got all the time in the world, so I know we'll spot one eventually!" He smiled.
But seeing venonat out, he decided to let some company stay out with it. "Moltres," He let out his zorua. "Moltres has really become a great team player since we caught it in the forest. Might be close to evolving too! Pretty soon I'll have a super power team of pokemon to enter the pokemon league with!" He grinned while Moltres got reacquainted with the venonat with them.
"I think a Gumpig or a gallade would be a cool addition to the team too. Or a medicham would be cool too. What are you hoping to catch next Sara?"

Location: ~ Route 502 ~"You're probably right." Sara replied walking along. They probably wouldn't see any pokemon for a while. Venonat was even happier it seemed when Zorua came out. "Venonat, veno venonat." (Moltres, it's been awhile.) The bug pokemon said moving his antenna in greeting. "Moltres sure is looking good." Sara told Dune. She always did like Zorua. Sara gave it some thought: what was she hoping to catch? "So you're going for a psychic type next then?" she asked before coming to a defined conclusion. "I'd love to find a Vulpix." she answered. "Although... Chimecho are pretty cute as well. Then a water pokemon like Poliwag, or Piplup would be nice too." Sara added. She still really wanted a Vulpix thought. Team: Venonat (M) - Lv. 14, Stella (F) - Lv. 12

"A cute pokemon, eh?" Dune gave a cheeky grin. 'Figures that a super cute girl would only want cute pokemon! Please let there be an onix so I can use Entei to show off!' Then he thought aloud: "Actually, Onix would be a pretty cool pokemon to have too. Me, I like pokemon that look tough--that's half the battle right there!" He folded his arms behind his head, baring a stupid smile on his face. "Moltres might not look like much right now, but it will definitely look the part when it evolves!" He went on like a stereo-type guy.
"When it comes to types, I don't have any favorites. But when it comes to how awesome a pokemon looks, you bet I wanna catch it! Uh..." His face changed completely, looking upward at the sky. "I wonder what kind of nik-name I'd even give a legendary pokemon..."
Zorua began idle chatter and stretching beside venonat, uninterested in the humans' conversation.

Location: ~ Route 502 ~Sara nodded. “Don’t get me wrong, there are other pokemon I would like that aren’t classified as cute, at least by some.” She told him. Sara imagined an Onix evolving. It reminded her of how much she’d love to have a Scyther. “An Onix would be a perfect addition to your team, just think if you ever evolved one into a Steelix…” she said thinking about just how cool it would be. “Moltres looks strong to me. Just look at Venonat, he doesn’t look like he could do much, but put him in a battle and he’ll blow away the competition.” Sara told Dune with a smile. “I suppose you could just give it a common pokemon name.” she suggested, granted the chance that he’d even catch a legendary was slim to none. As Venonat and Moltres talked about who knows what, they were suddenly interrupted. A small purple bat landed on top of Venonat's head. "Noi~bat~" (He~llo~) The Noibat spoke as it sat on the bug pokemon's head. "Venonat..." (Hello...) he replied frozen in place, completely unsure what to do. "Look a pokemon." Sara whispered, as if she were trying not to scare it. This was her lucky day. Team: Venonat (M) - Lv. 14, Stella (F) - Lv. 12 Wild Pokemon:  Noibat (M) - Lv. 8

Dune and Sara were really starting to hit it off (in his mind), after the mention of onix suiting him and how awesome it would be as a steelix. He had a dopey smile on, rubbing his face awkwardly with pride until a pokemon showed itself in front of them. "What pokemon is that?" He grabbed his pokedex to get some information. ... "A noibat? Hey! That's a dragon type, isn't it? What's it doing all the way out here? And in daylight!"
Walking up slow and careful while Moltres reached up to paw at it, Dune started to come up with every stupid reason on why it was there. "Hey little guy," He said softly, trying not to startle it and get a super-sonic headache. "Did you get lost? It's kind of far from Dragons' Peak and the caves there." He made an odd looking face while he tried to figure it out. 'If it got lost, maybe we should detour and see how or why it came all the way down here...' He started to think. 'Plus... With all those dragon pokemon, it's my chance to look super cool in front of Sara! And I might be able to get an awesome dragon pokemon on my team! That'd show Lydia! And we'd beat her team every time!'

Location: ~ Route 502 ~ Sara wasn’t sure what pokemon it was until Dune took out his pokedex. Flipping hers open she looked up the type of pokemon it was. “Yeah looks like it. Shouldn’t it be at Dragon’s Peak?” she questioned. All dragon’s lived in dragon’s peak… so why was this one so far away from home? The Noibat watched as Zorua reached up to paw at it. “Noi?” (Uh?) he looked over at Dune as he started to come over. Hopping from Venonat to Zorua’s head at that point, he looked back over to Dune. “Bat?” (Lost?) Noibat questioned tilting its head to the side. When Noibat started to realize that he was a tad too big to be on Zorua’s head he hopped back over to Venonat. Sara looked over at the dragon pokemon then over at Dune. “Hey Dune, you still in there.” She asked him. He seemed to be daydreaming, of what she had no idea. “What should we do with it? Should we help him get home or should we catch him?” she asked curiously. He seemed friendly to Sara. Walking over she looked to Venonat searching for an answer, only what she got was the Noibat curling up onto of his head. “Looks like he’s taking a nap.” She commented. It sure looked like he choice Venonat’s head as a resting spot, odd place to stay Sara had to admit. Team: Venonat (M) - Lv. 14, Stella (F) - Lv. 12 Wild Pokemon: Noibat (M) - Lv. 8

Snapping out of his delusion, Dune shook his head quickly and looked at Sara and Noibat. "Uh... Huh? Oh!" He flailed a bit to recoup. "Well... I don't really feel right just catching it without investigating why it's all the way here to start with." Which was really half true. The other half was to cover up for the fact that he wanted a detour to capture a bigger dragon type. "You said you wanted to get more pokemon and get in some training, right? The pokemon along the way to Dragons' Peak are supposed to be pretty tough, and we can train with each other along the way to find out what happened to the little guy. Sounds like an adventure to me! What do you think?" He sounded ecstatic, pushing for the agreement to go up there.

Location: ~ Route 502 ~Sara understood what Dune was saying. “I have to agree with you.” She didn’t know what brought Noibat out this way but maybe, there was a reason behind it being there. With that mystery she was quick to go along with him. “Right,” she answered, nodding as she listened to his pitch. “I say I’m in! Let’s bring home Noibat.” Sara said in agreement. “What do you say Venonat?” she asked, looking over at Venonat with a smile. “Venonat.” (Let’s do it.) He replied bobbing up and down. The Noibat looked up from his spot as he held. “Noi…bat…” (Ho…me…) The small dragon spoke, his voice waving as he bouncing on top of Venonat’s head. “Don’t worry Noibat, we’ll get you home. Lead the way Dune.” Sara told him brightly. Team: Venonat (M) - Lv. 14, Stella (F) - Lv. 12 Wild Pokemon: Noibat (M) - Lv. 8

Dune nodded and looked back behind him. "We'll have to head back and go through to the other side of Pendant City to the only road that goes into Dragons' Peak. Just when you think we can get out of Pendant City, it pulls us right back in!" He closed with a joke, rubbing under his nose as though he'd said something clever. "But probably for the best. The way to Dragons' Peak is supposed to be really long and dangerous! Doubt what we have now would last the trip there and back."
Moltres still sniffed at the noibat, curious from its place on the ground. Though, when you consider that it hand't really left Illusion Forest, there were probably a lot of things that made it curious. "All that stuff is gonna really weigh down though. Wonder if we can find a Ponyta or a Camerupt to help carry it all. I really should have gone out more to look for pokemon between training sessions," Dune sighed, dreading the thought of nearly doubling his pack-weight.

Location: ~ Route 502 ~Sara giggled at Dune’s joke. It was so true. She practically lived in Pendant City since starting her journey. Man did she wish that would change. Luckily it was a city she could consider familiar and safe to turn to for a spot to rest. “Sure can’t get away from that place.” She said with a smile. “I guess we’ll need to stock up on supplies when we get back to town.” She said thinking of all the things they could use along the way. Noibat looked over at the fox pokemon before poking him in the noise. Flopped off Venonat and landed on the ground next to Moltres, he cocked his head to the side. He was just as curious about the two pokemon next to him as Moltres was of him. He’d never seen pokemon that weren’t dragons. “Hey. What about Stella?” Sara suggested. “I’m sure she’d be more than willing to help.” She added before letting pulling out a pokeball. Letting her out in a flash of blue light the Stantler called out before pounding the ground with her hooves. “Dune, meet Stella.” Sara introduced stroking the Stantler’s neck. “Stella, meet Dune, he’s a friend.” The Stantler settled down and looked over Dune. “You wouldn’t mind helping us today would you Stella?” Sara asked her. “Stan stantler.” (Help, I can do that.) she said stomping her hooves. “See, I told you she’d want to help.” Team: Venonat (M) - Lv. 14,  Stella (F) - Lv. 12 Wild Pokemon:  Noibat (M) - Lv. 8

"Stella?" Dune said, raising an eye brow before Sara let out her stantler. "Ohhh. I remember you," He smiled, hands holding his sides.
Moltres lost some interest once a familiar face came into view. The little fox barked and ran up. "Heh! Looks like they really knew each other before we caught 'em!" Dune laughed, mesmerized but Moltres' wagging tail. "Go Sara! The girl with a plan! Let's hurry back so we can get in some distance between us and the city. It'd be kinda silly to have to stay at the pokemon center again, right?" He grinned, gesturing for the cute girl to lead the way. "Ladies first."
He waited for Sara to get started, and jogged behind to try and make for time. This would probably be some good training in itself! Endurance! Pokemon and trainer jogging and running side by side to get stronger. "I bet after all the jogging, our pokemon's legs will get stronger and they won't run out of energy so fast!" He said with some small suggestion in his tone. "Bet it'll help with their speed after a while too! That's way more than two pidgy with one stone edge!"

Location: ~ Route 502 ~Stella’s attention instantly turned to the little Zorua. “Stant stantler.” (Hey, it’s been a while.) She said bucking her head happily. “Yeah it sure does seem like it.” Sara agreed. It made her happy to see their pokemon so happy. Maybe they used to hand out together in the forest? Even Noibat seemed interested as he flew over to her and landed on her antlers. Luckily she didn’t seem to mind. “Yeah, just a bit.” Sara replied with a smile. With Dune’s cue, she started back down the road the way they came. Quickening her pace Sara wanted to get back to the city as soon as possible. The sooner they got back the sooner they could head down the road to Dragon’s Peak. “You know what I think?” she said looking back as him. “Last one there’s a Slowpoke.” With that Sara raced off down the road. Stella followed suit along with Venonat, who honestly wished he was riding on his teammate. At least he’d be in shape like Dune said, right? (Exit to Pendant City - Pokemart?) Team: Venonat (M) - Lv. 14, Stella (F) - Lv. 12 Wild Pokemon: Noibat (M) - Lv. 8
