Hayden stumbled into the park. Was it so bad he just wanted a place to relax for a bit? As he crossed the bridge over the small river he spotted a bench. That seemed to be a nice spot under some shade. So he went to the bench and sat down. His head rested in his hands as he just tried to think about things clearly.

Aqua walked into the park, still holding onto Vhan's hand. She smiled as she looked around. She looked as if she had never seen so much beauty before as she caught a leaf as it floated down towards her.

"Shadow" Status: Widowed Postion: Hunter Skill: Stealth Vhan smiled as they walked into the park, but it was a false smile he wore. This park used to be his mates favorite place to come with him and they talked about multiple things, their future, mybe having pups of their own, and the teasing arguments on who was the better hunter. But he didn't want to ruin Aqua's fun, she seemed to be so happy here and didn't want to take away that happiness.

Aqua turned to look at him as she thought back on the first time they came here. it had been four weeks since and the wounds she had gotten upon her arrival had healed and she no longer needed the sling for her arm. She felt closer to Vhan now and they had become best friends in that time. They took a trip to the park at leat once a week now and she seemed happier when she was around him than when she was around others. She walked over to the bridge and leaned on the rail as she pulled her notepad out. She had gotten a new one siince her old one had become full of writing and drawings. She flipped through the few drawings of the park and Vhan she had in there and got to a new page but just stood there looking out instead of drawing or writing. She was thinking.

"Shadow"Status: Widowed Postion: Hunter Skill: Stealth Vhan smiled a bit as he watched Aqua lean against the rail of the bridge and thought of what to draw or write. It was hard to believe that it had been four weeks since they meet. He found that they were spending more and more time together and they became like best freinds. They seemed to have become a cute couple because the other males teased him about having a cute human girlfreind, even though he still didn't think he was ready for that just yet after his mate died. He leaned back on the rail next to here and looked out on the small pond and the rose trees surounding it and he began to remember how his mate used to always love to just sit under the trees with him and just be together with him.

Aqua took in a deep breath and let it out, smiling. She enjoyed the time she spent outside. Even though she'd had her freedom for a long time now she still felt like she had just gotten away. She glanced over at Vhan when he leaned back beside her, staring out. She figured he was still thinking of his mate. She started to sketch his profile and the view behind him. She stopped when she started thinking about why she still couldn't talk, something she'd constantly think about now. She thought that once she was no longer in an abusive house and didn't have to worry about if the next time she was hit would be bad enough to handicap her, then she'd finally be able to talk. The few psyciatrists she had been too after her family's death all said it would only last a year or two as long as she was treated well, it had been eight years now. She wished she could speak to Vhan or anyone else without having to write. She let out a sigh, a common thing with her over the last few weeks. She hadn't really told Vhan what made her sigh so much but had talked to him often about how much she wished she could speak so it never was a mystery.

"Shadow"Status: Widowed Postion: Hunter Skill: Stealth Vhan smiled a bit as he got lost in his memories when he suddenly bolted up and grasped the railing tightly. "I can't belive i forgot!!!" He cried as he jumped the railing onto the ground below that was on the edge of the water and began to run along the landline until he reached one of the rose trees that was leaning over the water and began diging at it's base, franticly, as if his life depended on it. After a few minutes of digging he pulled out of the hole a small metal box with the enitals of him and his mate in a heart on the top. "I can't belive it' still here..." He said softly to himself as he hugged the box to his chest and smiled softly.

Aqua had gone back to drawing right before Vhan bolted up, grabbing the rail and yelling as he jumped over and ran for a tree. She jumped at his sudden outburst and had dropped her notepad. She jumped and reach for it, tumbling over the railing with it and landing on her butt in the pond. Her notepad was only a little wet since she had vaught it and sheiled it against herself but she lost her pencil. She sighed and climbed out of the pond, setting her notepad down away from her as she began to ring out her clothes. She looked over at Vhan and shook her head. 'Well guess I'm not going to be talking to him other than answering with a nod or something until i get a new pencil. I'm sure it's somewhere in the pond but I'm not going back in there.' SHe thought to herself as she continued to try and get herself as dry as possible. She grabbed her notepad with a sigh, giving up after a few moments, and walked over towards Vhan.

"Shadow"Status: Widowed Postion: Hunter Skill: Stealth Vhan looked back towards Aqua when he heard her footsteps but was surprised to find her skirt wet and her legs slightly dirty. "Oh, sorry about that..." He said scratching his head since he knew he must have scared her and she jumped from surprise and fell. He walked to the water and splashed some on the meatle box and cleaned it up along with his hands before looking back at Aqua. "Look, why don't we go back to my place so we can get those clothes of your's cleaned up?" He said smiling since they had taken to living in his old house while she was here and it was almost like they were roommates.

Aqua rolled her eyes and smiled. She was suprised that she actually thought it was a little funny. She just gave a nod as she checked her notepad to make sure none of the drawings had gotten water damage, glad that they hadn't. She was just glad it wasn't cold outside or she'd probably end up sick from the cold water. She waited for him to lead the way since she still got a little lost sometimes but was a lot better now than when she had gotten here. She thought back to the hunter she had met in the woods when she had escaped her family and the warning about wolves. She smiled and shook her head thinking about how the ones she had met were nothing like that. She had kept the dagger with her stuff but it was always wrapped up tightly and kept in a safe place in case something should happen but she hadn't touched it since the day she got here.

Aqua was spacedout as they drove to the park. She was looking out the window and hadn't really said anything since hey got in the car. She snapped out of her little trance when they got to the park. She stretched a little before she got out and went to help Vhan unload the stuff for the picnic.

 Aubrey walked into the park and she sniffed at the fresh air with the scent of the falling leaves of various colors. "I absolutely love this time of year." she smiled as she spoke to herself. She walked through the park as she found a lovely spot under a tree to sit underneath. "Wow....this place is amazing." Her emerald eyes looked around. She had just joined the pack so she didn't know anyone yet, but she hoped to make some amazing friends and maybe more.
