The kishin was dead, the madness subdued, and Death City was back to normal. Repairs were completed and a new school year had started in Death Academy. Two students, meister and weapon, have paired together like all the other students to help strengthen each other and grow together. Let's see what they do.

Leona bounded up the staircase to Death Academy. Today was her first day and she was eager to find her partner. "I hope she is nice!" she chirped to herself, dreaming of who her partner could be. First, she envisioned a sweet little girl who she would be able to protect and hug and play with. But a girl like that had no place in a fight, and Leona was a weapon, made for fighting. Her vision changed to a cool, calm girl with sex appeal. Her partner would call her little sister, and Leona would call her big sis. She became even more excited as she dreamed and practically ran up the last few steps. When she got to the top, she froze; there was a mob of people, most of them already paired up. They covered the entrance and made a loud noise similar to a rampaging herd of rhinos with their chatter. Made meek by the mass of bodies, Leona scampered off to the side and cowered there. She wasn't good with crowds.

Zane leaned on the wall watching watching the mob of new kids walk by. Most of them already with partners. He would have had a partner by now as well but there was no one here so far that interested him. All he seen so far was a bunch of kids who think they are going to be the next talk of the town. It was his first day here and he was already getting annoyed of them. A few minutes past and He was still leaning against the wall. After witnessing a couple more new kids pair up, he decided to go back into the crowd and take another shot at finding a partner. Still, his expectations have dropped drastically since he arrived.He was hoping to find a partner who was like him in at least some type of way, but now he sees that its not going to happen. From the looks of it, he would just get paired up with whoever is left. Now he was just hoping he doesn't get paired up with a loud mouth wannabe.

Leona started spazzing when the people started getting closer. To escape, she climbed up the tall wall that encircled the school and scurried along the top. She would never find a partner like this, in this ocean of students, so she decided to check the place out. Somehow, she found herself on the tip of the middle point that stuck out of the front of the school. "Oh. Wow, I'm high up," she muttered to herself. She was on her hands and feet, looking down at the other students. From up there, the crowd looked harmless. "I wonder if I could hit anybody with a loogie from here," she mused. She leaned forward over the edge to try - and her hand slipped. "WOAH!" She screamed as she was sent hurtling head over heels off the building, headed right for the ground.
She landed on her face. "Ow." ((I wasn't a huge fan of Black Star, but his entrance was awesome. History repeats itself!))

Zane walked through the crowd with the least bit of interest in anyone he saw. He felt like he was walking through a bunch of swarming ants with no place to go"This really isn't going so well" he said to himself in a low tone."There has to be an easier way then this"He said as he stood there wondering what to do. He was about to go back and lean on the wall again, when he suddenly heard someone scream from above. He turned around only to see a girl falling towards the ground. He watched as she fell into the ground face first."I guess that's something" he said with a little hope that she was at least kind of interesting. Wondering what she was doing up there in the first place, he slowly walked over to her a knelt down in front of her."Hey, you alive?" He asked while poking her on the head.
(Black Star was cool, but he wasn't my favorite. Mine would be either Soul or Death the Kid. An yea, it was pretty awesome)

Leona twitched her fingers and toes to make sure she could still move everything. She could. That was probably a good sign. She mentally ran through her body to see what hurt. Everything. That wasn't quite as good, though at least she didn't kill all of her nerves. As she was making plans to move to Macedonia, she felt something poke her head. "No, I'm dead," she stated, voice muffled by the concrete. She suddenly whipped her head up and chomped Zane's finger. "I have infected you. Now you are also dead. Sucks for you!" She stood up and brushed the dust from the ground off. "Ooh, that's niiice. I should be hired as a decorator." She admired the imprint of her in the ground.

Zane looked at his finger expressionless after Leona suddenly whipped her head up and bit it. He looked at her and said sarcastically "Great, because I have always wanted to become a zombie" He stood back up at the same time she did and looked down at the imprint. "Yea, because everyone around wants an imprint of a teenage girl on the floor of their house."He looked back at her curiously and asked "What were you doing up there anyway? Did you think you could suddenly learn how to fly or something? Zane looked around at the huge crowd of people around them. There were now even more pairs made then the last time he looked.
(Maka's cool. I like Mifune more then the mousy witch)

Leona threw her hands into the air. "Woo, I made your dreams come true. Do you really think so? Man, I could make a LOT of dreams come true!" She replaced her plans of moving to Macedonia with plans of starting her own interior design business. She was just deciding on where she should have her headquarters when he asked what she had been doing. "Huh? Oh, no. I don't wanna fly. I was just getting away from the massive hoard of teenagers," she explained, spreading her arms out to indicate the crowd. "I'm not really sure how I got up there, though." She looked up to where she fell from, trying to remember. ((Mifune is awesome, but the mousey witch is so cute!))

Zane laughed a little due to the fact she didn't know he was being sarcastic. He just stood there and listened as she spoke.He pointed towards his own head and said "Maybe you hit your head a little too hard" referring to why she cant remember. As she looked up towards the point from where she fell from, Zane turned towards the huge crowd and sighed"Guess i should be going now. I don't have a partner yet. An I suppose you should be getting back to yours. Don't want them to them you ditched them"He stood there scanning the crowd for any late arrivals that may be of interest.
(If Blair was an actual witch an not a cat, she would be the best.)

"No! My precious brain! I don't want to be broccoli," she moaned, clasping her head and slumping forward. She shifted so that her torso slumped to the side when he mentioned her partner. "Yyyeaahh. As of this moment, my partner only exists in my head." She stayed like that for a moment before she snapped up. "IDEA!" she shouted. She slapped both hands onto either side of his face and squished his cheeks, grinning. "How 'bout we be partners?" :3 ((Whaaaat? No! She must be a kitty! I love kitties! It's the only reason I like Blair... ;__; ))

"Eww. I hate broccoli"He said thinking about how tasteless it was. He continued to look around as she spoke. He was about to say something when out of no where she slapped both hands on his face and squished his cheeks.His eyes widened in surprise. Zane felt his cheeks warming up before holding her hands and taking them off of his face. He thought about if for a moment and took another look around before he answered. "Fine. Your more interesting mostly everyone here anyway. So what is your name?"
(Nope. If she was a full witch, she would have been able to show more of her awesomeness. She was awesome when she wasn't in cat form)

"I know, the texture is so weeiirrd," Leona huffed. It was like eating a collection of alien herpes! She cheered when he agreed and bounced up and down. "Yay! I actually found somebody! I'm Leona, who're you?" She stuck her hand out to shake his. ((Because she had boobs as a human. -.- But the whole cat thing makes her more interesting! And if she were a witch, then she would be dead and SOul would be a Death Scythe.))

"Finally someone agrees with me that broccoli is horrible" He reached out his hand and shook hers. "I was starting to worry i was never going to find anyone. So Leona huh. My name is Zane. I think I'll call you Leon...or just Leo. "He started to think of other names he might be able to call her, not realizing he was still shaking her hand.
(nooo boobs were not the only reason. jeez ....true, true. still awesome anyway)
