I have a 360, I downloaded the patch update today for mounted combat. I'm about, midway through the Civil war quest and have completed the companion quest, that's it. Well, after I downloaded the patch, I go to Whiterun, and in the circle right where that tree is, I see that some stuff collapsed. What happened to it?? x_X

What happened to it?? x_X When you choose the Stormcloaks, maybe the Imperials, and you fight in Whiterun, it is destroyed afterwards.

That happened because you Joined the stormcloaks and attacked whiterun, that is really normal and the update has nothing to do with it.
I joined the stormcloaks and the Imperials and I prefer stormcloak so I can get the house in Windhelm biggrin

Note on Windhelm, you can get it with either side, you just get it faster on the Stormcloak side.
As for Whiterun, that happens with either side, if your Imperial or Stormcloak after the attack on the city. Unfortunatly it never goes away and actually will interfere with some radiant quests from the Theives Guild.

Kulaan Do Tiid His the Talos priest outside dragonsreach. His name is Heimskr. One day, he took an arrow to the heart. It was very dramatic. twisted Poor Heimskr... I don't kill him, mostly cause Sakura isn't a murderer, however I wish he would be "down trodden" and such and quiet down if the Imperials win (like they should!).

Few characters change their opinions, in general its rather depressing and I tend not to do it anymore. The cities all feel the same, no matter who wins, as if the war never ended.

Yes, i know how you feel. If you join the stormcloakes the earl of Whiterun changes and i love the earl of Whiterun. But if you join the imperials you feel like your a total douchebag for killing the person who was (possibly) right.
