For over a thousand years, the four clans of fire, water, earth, and air have been at war. It has been said that the winner gains rule of the world. Each has a purpose, desiring to rule for power, hatred, fear, or even to bring peace. Each clan has gathered their most powerful warriors to be their solders in battle.

Two clans not known to the other four keep watch to see who will win, and only interfere when they believe it is needed. These two clans are the clans of light and dark, but both clans are clans of watchers, waiting for their moment to take down the ruling clan.
