Well here the beginning of one of my many stories. Haven't deiced on a title yet.
Critique away!

Early morning rays trickled into the dense cove, Alexandra whistled and weaved between the trees, the screech of a bird answered from above. “Peta.” she called. The Falcon eased down on her outstretched arm cooing softly. “I got you something.” she tossed a silver ball for her friend; he spread his wings and fluttered to the ground catching it in mid-air. He tossed it around, throwing it in the air then catching it, and kicking it around.

Alexandra giggled at his child-like antics. “It’s time.” Peta stopped playing, he took a few steps then twirled back to get his ball. “Today’s the day.” he looked into her eyes, as if sensing her pain he hung his head. “Yes. I know. Will you tell the others?” He tilted his head as if thinking. “Don’t worry. Just do as I said, it will be alright.” Peta blinked and flew off into the sky circling once above the cove before disappearing. Alexandra smiled again. She took a deep breath, slowly, and then walked back to the house, never looking back.

“Erin. Erin wake up.”

“Hmm…”

“Come on Erin. We’re going to be late if you don’t wake up now.”

“-right.”

Alexandra smiled, “I know what your ‘all right’s mean Erin. Come on.” Alexandra shook her sister.

“I’m up.” she pushed back the covers sitting up. “Morning.”

“Morning. I’ll be downstairs with Izzy. Kay?”

“Kay.” She rubbed the sleep out of her eyes,

Erin climbed out of bed and disappeared into the bathroom for her morning ritual, emerging ten minutes later dressed in the school uniform. She kept her hair down placing a single clip to hold back her bangs; a small rose pendent adorned her neck. Checking the mirror one more time before heading down the stairs, she sighed at her appearance. The only difference between her and her sisters where their eyes. Erin was born with heterochromia; meaning her eyes were two different colors. Her left eye was soft emerald and her right a soft blue; like the ocean.

It was the same thing everyday. Wake up, go to school, come home, and go to bed. Repeat. She sighed again. Life was so…boring.

“Bout time you woke up Miss. Sleepy head.” Iza'Byl teased. Erin was a little jealous of Iza'Byl. Her ocean blue eyes at least matched.

“I was up late.”

“You’re always up late Erin.” Alexandra handed her a lunch bag. She would even love to have Alexandra’s matching soft emerald eyes.

At least they were the same height at five feet and two inches.

“Why is that?” Iza'Byl tucked a strand of hair back.

“No reason.”

There was a reason. She disliked her boring existence. Nothing exciting ever happened. Well, besides being the first set of triplets born in the central land. But, even then.

It was their fourteenth birthday. A day the whole village celebrated. A day Erin hated. Maybe hate is too strong of a word.

As any other day the three sisters made there way to school, along the way they met up with five of their friends, Aurora and her twin brother Apollo, Madison, Karu and Re’Aven. The eight of them lived in the same village, while the others lived in the city. Not all of them were friends to begin with. First it was just Karu, Re’Aven, and the three sisters, slowly through the years the group grew to hold twelve.

It started out as every other day started. School went on as normal and ended without excitement. It always did. They all headed to the village centre to celebrate their fourteenth birthday. The day quickly turned into night, as usual Iza'Byl, Alexandra, and Erin went for a midnight stroll along the river that ran between the village and the forest.

“Man I can’t wait for the Rebirth Celebrations to be over.” Iza'Byl laid down on the grass.

“I agree, however I am excited to be given the chance at another solo.” Alexandra stood, staring up into the stars.

Erin sat next to Iza'Byl, who was the oldest followed by Alexandra, then Erin.

“Well, what do you think Erin?” Iza'Byl tilted her head.

Love the story so far, can't wait till you write more!

One thing though, it was really had for me to visualize the triplets... there wasn't really anything describing them except for when Alexandra put her school uniform on.

I just can't wait to find out what the 'rebirth celebrations' are!!! They sound really cool.

“Hmm. Well. As much as I love the festivals, I really don’t want a part this year.” Every year for the last four years they had all gotten some part in the ceremonies. Sometimes small, sometimes solo.

“Why not?” Iza'Byl played with her braided hair, which normally hung to mid back when down. “Celebrating the old year, inviting the New Year. Great food. Great entertainment. What’s not to look forward to?”

“Just tired of all the attention.”

“Ahh….you don’t like attention. Yet somehow you always seem to be center stage.” Iza'Byl sat up, asking Alexandra why she wasn’t sitting with them.

Alexandra smiled; somehow it seemed a little sad. “I am truly sorry.”

“For what?” Erin asked

“I did not wish this had to happen. Not this way.” she shook her head.

“Alie?” Iza'Byl became concerned, “What are you talking about?”

“It’s time.”

“Time for what?” Iza'Byl asked.

“Time to die!” A male voice rang out.

Suddenly Alexandra was spitting up blood. Erin was too surprised, confused even, to move. Something was sticking out of Alexandra’s chest. A blade. A sword. A strange sound found its way to Erin’s ears as the blade retreated from her chest. Alexandra slumped to the ground landing at Erin‘s feet.

“Forgive me.” Her whispered plea fell into a oblivion. Erin couldn’t move. Couldn’t think. Couldn’t believe what had just happened.

It seemed as if she had died. What appeared to be her spirit rose from her body in a soft forest green light. From the heart of her spirit a small ball materialized, in the same color, and shot into Erin’s chest, a warm sensation ran through out her body. Instantaneously she had a vision.

A small famed young man frozen in crystal. Sleeping almost. A small crack slices through the crystal. It deepens. More appear, and then deepen. His eyes snap open; shattering the crystal. He falls to the floor. Another small framed, yet taller, young man catches him. Both have blue hair and blue eyes, the taller man seems to have longer hair..

“Snow!”

“It’s time.” He whispered.

“They’re back?” the tall young man asked, his voice pleading.

“No. New ones. Stronger. Born of the world. Chosen.”

The scene changes.

Twelve teenagers standing in queue. All in armor; different colors each with a symbol over the heart. Love. Happiness. Togetherness. In the center, Erin. Abruptly, everyone around her falls to ashes. She’s alone.

Tears fill her eyes ‘Is this…the future?’

“Erin?” Iza'Byl guards her sister “Run. Go get the Peace Force.” She speaks softly; trying her best to remain calm.

“Oh I don’t think I’ll let that happen.” He points the sword at Iza'Byl. “See, I’m here to kill both of you, and it would be of the greatest
entertainment for me; if the she watches.”

“Why?” Iza'Byl asked stills standing in front of her sister. “What reason do you have to kill us?”

“Because. I was ordered to.”

“That’s not much of a reason.” Her snaky comment was followed by the sound of yelling in the distance. Peace Force‘s were on the way.

“Ah but I guess I wont be able to. No witnesses. Besides her that is.” A black mist formed behind him. He a saluted and disappeared as he stepped in.

You got a name for it now, (and a cool one at that) yay!
I like the second part... mysterious and exciting, and it drives the plot forward.
Now suddenly, Erin's life has totally changed from being boring with two sisters, to adventurous with one... suspenseful.
This is the kind of story I could really get into!!!
One thing I got confused on a little bit is when the triplets were talking, because you didn't put their names on some of them... so I would try to pin point who said what, but at times I didn't know.

Iza’Byl turned to her Erin. She was cradling Alexandra in her arms. Tears silently falling. Iza’Byl kneeled down, hugging her sisters. Shock, fear and anger. Mostly confusion. She couldn’t cry. Not yet. Erin needed a shoulder. She was always closer to Alexandra, but then so was Iza’Byl. Alexandra was the center of their world. That world ceased to be.

“Girls!” High Priestess Su’Ki joined them on the ground. “What happened?”

Iza’Byl spoke softly, she feared telling the High Priestess what happened would upset Erin even more. Erin was oblivious to her surroundings, replaying everything. Ignoring all around her, she never answered when High Priestess Su’Ki asked her if it was true. She let her examine Alexandra, never releasing her hand.

“She’s still alive!” High Priestess Su’Ki called forth the Healer. He ordered he helpers to carry her back to the High Temple immediately. Making no promises to the outcome, he rushed back.

Re’Aven helped Erin to her feet, and along with Karu, walked the girls home. The two stayed with them while their parents stayed with Alexandra. Just after dawn Cristoro and his wife, Bea’Tryce announced that Alexandra, despite their best efforts, had passed on.

Erin collapsed from exhaustion, Re’Aven carried her to her bed with Iza’Byl following behind., Karu stayed downstairs. He served them tea at offered words of comfort. When Re’Aven returned Cristoro apologized for keeping them up all night and thanked them for watching over the girls.

“It is not an issue Uncle Cristoro.” Karu assured him.

“Tell your parents I said thanks.” he left to go comfort his wife, leaving the two boys to let themselves out.

Enjoy!!
Chapter Two

It was late in the afternoon when Erin awoke. At first she though yesterday was just a dream, but when she saw the sun high in the sky, she knew it was real. Alexandra always woke her in the morning, no matter the day. Tears threatened to fall, she didn’t want to wake up. She dove back under the covers hoping the days would pass by, wishing Alexandra would wake her.

Instead, it was Iza’Byl who shook her gently. She came with news of their sister, they were allowing visitors before they prepared her body for cremation. Alexandra was getting a ceremony just for that, her ashes to be spread into the winds of during the Rebirth Celebrations.

“Erin.” Iza’Byl sat on the bed “I miss her as well. I don’t want to see her burning or to be spread into the winds. However, I am happy that she gets the chance to fly. She gets to fly with the birds, to travel to distant lands. Our ancestors will be there to welcome her. Alie wont be alone.”

“That’s not the point!” Erin erupted out from the covers, her cheeks wet with tears “She promised we would always be together! She swore she’d never leave our side! We were born together so we should die together! What’s the point in being here if she’s not?” Erin broke into sobs, unable to catch her breath.

Iza’Byl embraced her sister, like Alexandra always did, but different. She stroked her hair and waited for the sobs to subside. “We must always cherish the life we are given. It was her time to go. You know that just as well as I do.” Iza’Byl let a few tears drop. “We must be strong for mother and father. We have to be strong for Alei.”

Erin knew she was right. Alexandra would not want them to mourn, rather to celebrate. Erin pulled back and wiped her tears away. She pulled herself out of bed and took a long hot shower to expunge the unwanted emotions from her body and mind. She dressed in soft pink dress Alexandra bought her a few years back. She placer her hair in its usual hairstyle with a simple rose clip holding back her bangs. She opted for the diamond shaped glass necklace she received for her birthday, and sun-shaped earrings Alexandra adored.

Iza’Byl and their parents were waiting by the door. Iza’Byl wore the soft teal dress Alexandra bought for her as well as her matching raindrop earrings and necklace. Their parents dressed in normal black mourning clothes.

“You look beautiful.” their mother held them both.

Their father nodded in agreement, “Alexandra is waiting.” he spoke softly as if trying not to break apart.

The High Temple was a short walk from their house. They met a few of their friends on the way, the rest were waiting in the front entrance. Karu and Re’Aven stepped to the side to allow Cristoro and his wife to be the first ones in. After Iza’Byl and Erin, the rest followed to the waiting area.

High Priestess Su’Ki met with the parents, expressing her sorrow over the death of a mere child. A Priestess in Training excused herself to prepare Alexandra for viewing, her scream echoed down the hallways. Erin rushed past her into the room, Iza’Byl and her parents right behind her. The bed were Alexandra was lain, was empty.

“Where’s my daughter!” Bea’Tryce screamed.

“There must be some mistake” High Priestess Su’Ki tired to calm the parents, the Priestess in Training swore she witnessed the Priests escort the healers with her body into this very room

“Then where is she?” Cristoro demanded.

You know where I am.

Erin shot past everyone without a word. Alexandra’s voice still ringing in her head. Her friends and family voices echoing in her ears. She speed down the hallways and tore down the stairs heading deep into the basement. She ripped the doors open and gasped. She found Alexandra. Thirteen stone beds, affixed in a circle, one occupied by her sister. Erin slowly walked over to the stone bed, the rest just arriving at the door. Flowers on vines kept her tied down, they seemed to melt into the stone carvings. In the middle she noticed a circle with a cross inside. The Symbol for Earth.

“What is this place?” Madison asked.

“Looks like a sacred place.” Karu responded

“Feels like it as well.” Re’Aven added.

High Priestess Su‘Ki pushed through the others “How did you know this room existed?” she asked Erin.

“We used to play down here.” Iza’Byl answered. “Alie found it when we were kids.”

“She said this was her bed.” Erin turned to face the others. “She said ‘One day this place will be very important.”
