Online, I'm a nice, geeky cosplayer, and in real life too, but the truth is I'm kind of a hater when it comes to some metalcore bands. I'm not a hater as in I wish death upon them-nor do I want to paint a masterpiece with my death scythe- but I DO love to make fun of them. I'm planning to make a band for that exact purpose.
Of course, I've been down the "emo" road before, unfortunately. I thought I was cool, I thought I was the turd. Of course, then I realized most of the scene is "the turd." (Don't swear, young children) My sister is going down that road, and her favorite bands are exactly what I'm parodying. Of course, it would be making fun of so many bands you wouldn't be able to find just one.
So yeah, I need advice on how to make it as hilarious and obvious that I'm joking as possible. I don't want to get bashed for "BEING" a metalcore band or loved by the kids I'm making fun of. I also don't want to be MEAN either.
