Halo 4
Oh, where to start? I personally can't wait for this game and with such a trove of information I'll be making another topic based on the game, but I digress. I'll post the basic information for E3, so I don't take up a whole page here.
The Xbox conference started off by by present a live action video and game play of the Halo 4 campaign.
The video starts off showing the UNCS's new ship, Infinity, over a city on Earth. A man (unknown) is giving a speech on the top of the ship, in front of UNSC troops and reporters. The scene changes to the ship in space; followed by other vessels. The captain of the ship comes into view, his name plate reads, Del Reo. The vessel houses 17,00 people consisting of military personnel, scientists, civilians and the Spartan IVs. Suddenly a red beam scans through the ship, causing electronics to malfunction. A Forerunner planet appears and drags the Infinity into it, likely with magnetism. The crew proceeds to freak out. *End of intro video.
The game play portion won't be as descriptive. Master Chief is walking through a beautiful landscape when the Infinity come barreling past him; directly after a huge glowing red sphere appears behind the Master Chief and gives off the same color scan as what went through the Infinity in the live action trailer. The sphere then shoots out towards where the ship had crashed. When the Chief arrives the sphere if hovering in the distance above the ship and Covenant aircraft flying about. There is a very short fire-fight that ends with and Elite being disintegrated by a beam of light from an unknown origin. Continuing through the forest, Promethean Crawlers attack the Chief; after defeating to groups they retreat and a Promethean Knight appears. During its fight with the Spartan it releases a Promethean Watcher from its back. The Watcher puts up a shield protecting the Knight from bullets and catches a grenade, tossing it back to the Chief. After the Knight is defeated, the Watcher flies off and the Chief picks up a dropped Forerunner weapon. The Chief then destroys the watcher and a few Crawlers; a Knight appears and teleports next to the Chief and gets pushed back. The Master Chief then jumps into a foggy ditch and after turning on thermals discovers that he's surrounded by multiple Prometheans. A Knight jumps out in front of him, knocks the Chief back, where he goes unconscious.
That was Halo 4 at E3. Just so ya know, if I were descriptive about the game play it would be 4 times as long. I'll talk more about it in the official thread, when it's made; there will also be pictures.
