I can't tell if the creators were trying to hint that Tarrlock IS Amon or if they were just trying to say he's just as bad as Amon. There were some creepy similarities there, like when he's blurred out as he reaches toward Korra and Korra starts getting visions of Aang and the old crew.
Also, the bloodbending thing sent some major chills up my spine. I'd think there'd be a law against that in Republic City... Just sayin.

Thats what I was wondering at first whether or not Tarlock is Amon or not! But then that means Amon is being Tarlock and forcing people to follow Amon and believe in Amon...then...Kinda stupid.. And I think Tarlock and Amon are two different people. Korra had those visions and that weird guy I think is related to Tarlock...or maybe is Tarlock I'm not so sure... But I think Tarlock is working for Amon...I mean Tarlock seems to do everything what Amon wants to happen.. That Bloodbending was creepy I was rooting for Korra but then the bloodbending came...I think it is a law against it but Tarlock is keeping it a secret...Thats why he tied Korra up and sent her somewhere else.

Good theories. I think Tarrlock is purposefully trying to piss off non-benders so that they join Amon. That seems to be exactly what he's doing.

You right, it does send that message. But as convincing as that idea is, I don't think that Tarrlok is Amon. Although, I do think that he is associated with Amon. (maybe is brother?) Yeah that blood bending was creepy... and the fact that it wasn't even a full moon made it even creepier.....

I certainly don't think that Tarrlok is Amon. Tarrlok was just incensed about being compared to Amon in episode 8.
I do, however, think that Amon might be the reincarnation of Ozai. We do know that reincarnation exists. It can't just be for the avatar, can it?

And at the same time, theory proven. The creators did indeed prove that Tarrlock was just as bad as Amon.

GhostlyMark i think this theory can help this situation Good theory. Very close, too, except the parts about the Red Monsoons showing up and Katara intervening.

I never would have guessed about the bloodbending or about Sokka being on the council.
