Name: Real name: Rin Sasaki Male persona: Rin Holic
Age: Sixteen
Birthday: December 3rd
Height: 5'5"
Weight: It's not polite to ask a lady such a question.
Grade: Tenth
Occupation: Cross dressing student
Likes: ✶ Windy days. ✶ Sun showers. ✶ Animals (bird in particular). ✶ Bodies of water. ✶ Cold weather. ✶ Being herself. ✶ Arts of all kind. ✶ Crosses. She thinks they're beautiful to look at. Dislikes: ✘ Horror movies/Horror stories. ✘ Lightning. Thunder doesn't bother her; the flash always does. ✘ Being alone at night. ✘ Not being able to see. ✘ Frightening sounds. ✘ Vampires (she's more afraid of them than hating them). ✘ Spiders. Any type of bug. ✘ Binding her chest. It hurts like the dickens.
Hobbies: Sketching, sports, singing, staring off into space, sleeping, ice skating, and swimming.
Crush: N/A since...Every guy thinks that she is a guy also, so it's a bit awkward to fall in love with someone.
Personality: Rin is a sweet and sincere girl. She likes making jokes and having fun, since having a life with no risks nor adventure would be bland. She is kind and caring, with just a dash of strong minded. She has her real mother’s cool temper; not easily angered unless something very serious occurs. Our dear young lady can be awkward in some cases, especially when confronted by a male. Being that she is disguised as one, she doesn’t know what to say in fear that it would blow her cover. She is charming and brave, usually putting others before herself, especially someone younger. Rin respects her elders, since she was raised to be polite and courteous. She can be a tad jumpy at times, especially after hearing something scary.
Bio: Rin comes from a long lineage of vampire hunting. The Sasaki family would even give their services to royals that dealt with blood suckers and needed them executed. They were aristocratic; holding power due to the work they performed. But centuries of new hunters springing up and vampires becoming stronger, her family became desperate and poor. Six generations back, an ancestor named Roku Sasaki made a blood pact with a family of vampires. This bound every single generation to come to this family. They were their servants in exchange for protection, a guaranteed comfortable life, and other specifics. Of course, since this was a blood pact, in exchange for these comforts, the Sasaki’s had to give their blood. Later generations found this shameful and down right disgusting, but the deed was done; the contract from all those years ago is still in the possession of the vampire family, and as long as it’s intact, they’re bound. Previous relatives have even gone to Purebloods, begging them to break the deal, but it was out of their hands.
Rin’s parents lived in fear of having a child. They didn’t want a daughter or son who would be born into these unlawful circumstances. But the fates were against them, because on December third, they were graced with a lovely little girl. Silently escaping any watch, they brought their daughter to friends of the family; her new foster parents. They promised they’d take excellent care of her and make sure to keep her away from anything remotely close to a vampire. Her parents didn’t want to give up their only child, but so long as their rich blood ran through her veins, she couldn’t even be considered theirs.
Of course, keeping secrets from a whole family of vampires is tricky. They knew her mother, Harumi, was pregnant, and when they came to see the baby, they found it missing. This didn’t go over well, especially when her parents tried to lie; saying that she was a still birth. Since this was a blatant disregard to the rules sent, every vampire was informed of the missing child. There was a reward and everything. If she was ever discovered, she was to be taken into custody immediately.
While the search for her carried on, Rin was raised in the humble home of the Holic family; vampire hunters who, since receiving Rin, quit their previous occupations as such. They didn’t have any children of their own, and even though they wouldn’t be passing on the vampire hunting ways to her, they were glad to have a daughter. Just as they had promised her parents, they kept any information on such topic out of her reach. They even kept her birth parents a secret, knowing that she would be curious and want to find them. When she was in elementary school, her classmates had mentioned vampires and, never hearing such a word before, questioned them about it. “It’s just an old wives tale. Don’t let us catch you talking about them again.” Mr.Holic had scolded her. Being a good girl, she did as she was told; but the thought and wonder of what it could be was still there.
Eventually high school rolled around. Ruefully they enrolled her in Cross Academy. It was the only high school near them for miles. The Holics had to move frequently to cover up their trail from the vampires. But Mr.Holic has recently acquired an excellent job and moving was out of the question at the moment. Mrs.Holic came up with a plan; she was to be Rin Holic, an exchange student that recently moved here. And was a boy. Rin wasn’t too fond of the idea, especially since it didn’t make sense at the time. Why couldn’t she be herself? So the Holics had to tell her a lie in place of the truth. They confirmed that vampires were real and had strong ties to the school she would be attending. There were even vampire students there. They left out the part about the blood pact and her parents, only telling her that they were after her. Rin was scared, but she put up a façade, saying that’d she’d be fine. She was mentally screaming as she said this. Her foster parents would never let her go there unarmed. They gave her a vampire hunting hand gun, saying that if she ever needed to protect herself, they wouldn’t penalize her for it. If anything, they said, they’d be proud of her.
So now, disguised as male Day Student Rin Holic, she tries her best to keep away from any sign of a vampire. Or at least anyone wearing a white school uniform.
