History: Not long after he was born, his family was attacked by a large group of monsters and demons that had all had a personal vendetta against Kou's father. His father said he would distract them and he told Kou's mom to take the pup and run. Obediently, she ran far away with Kou while her husband stayed behind and fought the monsters, giving his life for their survival. Kou's mother knew that even after killing her husband, they wouldn't stop. They would keep rampaging until they found her and her child, so she decided to hide in the one place they would never dare to go, a human city. There she raised Kou to be a kind and gentle spirit, so that he would never have to fall under the same fate as his father. When news got to Mrs. Kiyoshi that there was a school for monsters, she signed Kou up so that he could mingle with more of his kind, and he gladly left for a new horizon: Yokai Academy!
