Crush: She's convinced that boys, for the most apart, annoying creatures that don't know how to take a hint to buzz off and too busy with her nose in a book to really look around for someone that catches her interest.
Personality: Erin is a quite girl that feels at home in a cozy little corner with a good book. She feels comfortable with people she already knows far more than people she just met. Erin isn't a very social person that could be easily charismatic with meeting someone new. Instead, she would be polite and might stick around long enough for a short small talk before she excuses herself. When Erin isn't reading something or another, one might be able to catch her in the science lab- with permission from a teacher of course- and examining a large number of slides under a microscope.
Outside of the books and lab, she isn't all that expressive. One of the reasons why she kinda sucks in classes like speech and drama, and doesn't like to be taken out her little bubble to act or give a enthusiastic speech. So she would avoid classes like that if she can. Another class she would like to avoid but really can't is math. Even if she's a bookworm and likes studying doesn't mean she's great in every subject.
Though she might give off a timid personality to new people, Erin is anything but. She doesn't fiddle her fingers, stutter, or looking at the feet tot he person she's talking to. Erin will look at the person with a calm expression. She has a bad habit of questioning people, and would have an annoyed tone to people she finds... well... annoying. Erin has a stubborn streak and can be a little snappy if she gets annoyed with someone enough.
Bio: Erin's background isn't all of that special. Unlike some families, she was raised by her mother and her mother's family without a father. Sure he was there the first seven or so years of her life but he wasn't much of a role model with his playboy personality and actions. Which were one of the main reasons why her parents divorced when she was eight.
After the divorce, her mother took full custody of Erin and worked two jobs and moved to an apartment. Even with two jobs, Erin's mother still valued their mother and daughter relationship and would spend time with Erin even though she was wore out. As she grew older, Erin's mother got a good job as a manager at one of her jobs. So with a decently big pay check, her mother only needed to work one job.
With her great grades, though her math grades were average, she was offered a scholarship to Cross Academy and is now attending there.
