Well i see enthusiast of the guild attempting to get guild active again so i will throw my attempt as well. so this thread i will "attempt" to give a deck and discuss its pro's and con's into todays Meta game. will try to do this daily. So lets start with my person favorite. Will rate 1-10 1=terrible 10= tier 0
Dragons
Variants in today's meta game:
-Disaster Dragon's: This version of Dragons would be considered the Anti meta version of Dragons in today's standards. The deck originally was based off the release of Darkness Metal which instantly turned Dragons into a wrecking ball with a new boss monster making things like Horus Lock obsolete. The deck originally was based off the same ideals as dragon decks before it in the traditional beat down fashion. However in the Meta today Disaster has been ruled useless due to its slowness in face to the other two variants. I disagree with that and have been working on ways to speed the deck up.
Pro's- can trade hits with most any deck
-Has plenty of resources and synergy with all forms of dragon support
-run high stat monsters
Con's- Slower then most higher tier decks
-Very predictable
-No built in engine other then REDMD
Rating- (biased-8 ) Unbiased- 5
-Chaos Dragon's: The first thought on players mind with the release of this deck was that it would merely be a fun deck with no real way to be played on the competitive circuit. Though the deck quickly proved first thoughts terribly wrong with it's ability to explode onto the field easily hitting for over 8000 in one turn bringing more viability to the old formula of Dragon beat down. In the Meta today, Chaos Dragons are easily one of the strongest and fastest decks out there with an ability to swarm and reuse resources with high consistency.
Pro's- Very explosive able to keep up or our speed all decks
-high boss monster count able, not easily beaten down
-replaces all resources using grave
Con's- Extremely grave reliant
-Has counters with typical generic sides
-Can take several turns to set up for the push leaving yourself vulnerable
Rating- 7
-Hieratic Dragon's- The most recent archetype of dragons to be released. Able to OTK most of time as early as turn 1-2. The hieratic dragons are an interesting set due to their extreme reliance on the tribute engine. overall in today's meta the deck will get run over by a smart player and will require further support of a shift in the meta for them to start dominating due to how many counters that can affect them.
Pro's- Most explosive version of dragons yet
- replaces themselves with ease leaving few if any minuses
- very consistent
Con's- Koa'ki Meiru Drago and light-imprisoning mirror...enough said
-if sided against can be shut down to a full halt
-easy to over commit.
Rating- (current w/out support-5) with rest of support-8
(feel free to comment on anything you liked/disliked, also i have multiple versions of each deck listed above all competitive worth and play tested as such if enough people would want to see i could share till then, see you next time)

On duel network I attempted to make a highlander chaos deck, and its undefeated best of three. Though a few times I did lose one of the three, once someone won then quit immediately after even though I specifically said best of three, and once I had an incomplete best of three we each won once.

I thought I would have lost more but I only played like one meta deck out of all of those and it was a tie.

And it has a side deck all monsters.

The Geargia Archetype looks good; it has good grave control. And I have already mixed the Geargias with Karakuris and it's working pretty smoothly. The wiki says it works with Machinas , but I'm too lazy to try.
