Appearance: I must describe my hair as a golden color with a natural soft feel and often in a sloppy state because I rarely pull a comb through it. I'll often be found running my hands through it. The blue grey color of my eyes is an attention getter to most and I'm still a growing boy standing at only five feet two inches. The beginnings of muscles are developing on my body and I work hard to get them toned. My skin is also rather pale white because I tend to stay indoors most the time, but I'm not sickly white color.
Preferably, I like to wear dark colored clothes usually black. Colors are in my wardrobe but they are greatly outnumbered by the shadowy color. A groomed appearance is what I grew up with and it is what I like (with exception to my hair). A button down top with slacks or good jeans in combination with my nice shoes.
Speaking Style: I've grown up in England my entire life and again because of my father's influence I've developed a rather formal tone of voice with a slight English accent of course.
Demeanor: I'm very proud of myself and everything I do. Sometimes too proud. I always hold myself high and often think I'm above others. That doesn't mean that I am a mean person just that I will only help if I see it fit to. Most the time my reputation and appearance keep people away.
Best Qualities: I'm a number of things thanks to my father. He had an image of what he wanted me to grow up to be and I nearly hit the spot. I'm independent, hardworking, cunning, intelligent, and I have great self control.
Worst Qualities/Flaws: In contrast to my strengths my upbringing has also led to some less worthy traits developing. Such as, trouble working with large groups, trouble sympathizing with others, occasionally ruthless, I don't know when to stop or give up sometimes, and it is difficult for me to open up and be honest or tell the full truth.
History: I grew up as an only child with only a father. My mother died slightly after giving birth to me. She just wasn't strong enough for it. My father wasn't really affected by it, mainly he was happy to have gotten his male heir that he wanted. I suppose there was no love in the relationship. It is something I sometimes thought about in my younger years.
Throughout my childhood I was pampered getting anything I wanted and getting a start on my education at an early age. My father was a rich man, a slytherin graduate, and a follower of the dark arts. Lucky for me he was kept out of Voldemort's circle otherwise I may have lost both my parents. As it was it often seemed like I did because my father was hardly ever around leaving me to the tutors and servants.
My unique ability was discovered by pure coincidence when my father got me a pet snake. He had had one when he was a child and his father before that so it had become a sort of tradition. I now understand that it was for a purpose. I found that I could understand the snake, and it could understand me. One of the servants caught me speaking to it one day and told my father. He was proud of me something I was ecstatic about. Making him proud was rare and something I strived to do. According to him, parsletongues are rare and have occasionally popped up in our long family lineage and the snake pet was meant to find the next one in the family early on.
I've always had a strict schedule through wake up, meals, studies, exercise, music and bed time to abide by and punishment was easily handed out if I did something wrong. When I finally made it to Hogwarts the freedom was a bit hard for me to adjust to. My father keeps a close eye on what I do in school and I try my best to make him proud. When the sorting came I was especially nervous because my father would have surely disowned me if I had not been in slytherin.
Wand: Blackthorn, Phoenix, 12 3/4 inches, and unyielding
Hobbies: I'm a busybody and have to be doing something almost every moment. You'll find me doing a myriad of activities from reading, writing, playing some instruments (though that's mostly left for home), playing quidditch, studying, to getting into trouble. Resting is a rare commodity for me and it's a miracle I stay running for as long as I do.
