Alexandrine lugged her bags through the rain. She was only carrying her carry-on backpack and a medium-ish suitcase. Her free hand was holding her umbrella, which was unfortunately doing little to stop the entourage of rain. The slender french girl sighed and waved a dismissing goodbye to her butler who was waiting behind her in case she needed help. She lugged her bags up the stairs and past the fountain. As she approached the school, Alexandrine broke into a run. Her long, pink double braids bobbed in the air along with the enormous quantity of hair that hadn't made it in the braids. Alexandrine had been well endowed with more than her fair share of hair.

The girl rushed inside and took a moment to dry herself. Her jeans and blouse were relitively dry, but her hair was drenched. Alexandrine some water seep out onto the footmatt at the entrance as she looked around. Almost no one else was there. Alexandrine felt it best if she closed her umbrella, and so promptly did so. She sighed and slung her backpack over her shoulder, taking in the sight of the entrance.

Nathanael tried to carry both his violin case; two, not too big, suitcases as well as an umbrella to protect himself from the rain. His parents and his personal butler was there so say good bye to him. "You sure you have everything with you?" "Are you sure you'll be all right?" "Don't get your violin wet!" His Mother had endless ways to make him stay with them as long as possible. She already missed him.

The red haired boy finally got free from all the good byes and moved towards his new school. He passed the huge fountain that was in the front. "It's seems okay so far" he thought as he took a new grip around his violin case. As he looked around, he noticed that almost no one else was there. He quietly made his way up the entrance and stepped inside. The inside was huge! Beautifully decorated with paintings and lit candles. The floor was covered by a blood red carpet, almost the same colour as his own hair. And speaking of hair, Nathanael's was wet. Very wet. He had it in a loose braid that ran down his back, so most of it had been drenched by the raid. Nathanael put his bags down, still looking around. He noticed a girl in the entrance. About the same age as he perhaps. She had bright, pink hair that was mostly wet, just as his.

The slender french girl looked at everything. It seemed almost everything was like porcelain or ivory. It somewhat reminded her of home at her mansion. Oh, c'est si beau... Alexandrine observed everything, trying to take it in all at once. She almost didn't notice the young man entering behind her, but she did. She turned around, and without thinking that he might not understand french, began to ask him who he was. "Hmm ? Oh, pardon, qui êtes-vous ?" With a shock, she realized that he might not understand french. Her blue eyes widened and she blushed a little.

She bowed her head hastily. "Please, forgive me. I am Alexandrine Dereia." Her accent was almost leveled, leaving just enough french in it to make it cute, as if she had realized this added to her charm. She pressed her lips in a smile, hoping to cover up her mistake of talking in french.

"War does not prove who is right, war proves who is left."

The small librarian walked out of her library to the front of the school where the new students were finally arriving. Claire saw that the principal was late. Again. Every year the principal went drinking the night before school started and the new students arrived, so she was always late. Claire sighed as she passed the cafeteria and proceeded to where the new students stood.

The front of the school was a beautiful sight. Claire never saw it often, because she didn't like being out in the sunlight. She preferred the company of her books. She stood around the school fountain. Lots of dimes and pennies shone in the bright water. Claire cleared her voice to the students. "Welcome to Lunar River Academy. Your principal is not present, and for that I am sorry. Come to my library so I may continue introducing you. I will give you a bit of a tour, but I will allow you to explore yourself."

Claire flinched under the sun and slowly stalked back to her library, watching out of the corner of her eye that they were following. After she noticed some were following, she quickened her pace to stay out of the sun as soon as possible.

The young girl stood silent and looked at her surroundings so she didn't notice Nathanael's presence, but when she did, she said something in a strange language. Sounded like French. Nathanael looked at her with a puzzled face. "Uhm..." was the only thing he was able to say. But the pink haired girl soon blushed and bowed her head. She presented herself as Alexandrine with a smile. Nathanael smiled back at her. A warm and friendly smile. "Pleased to meet you. My name is Nathanael Pritchard" he said with a British accent. Very British.

A sudden voice made Nathanael turn around. There, behind them, stood a girl. She was small and quite pale. She welcomed all the students to the school and told them the principal wasn't there. "Strange" Nathanael thought, "why wasn't the principal at the school?" The girl led all the students through the corridors and to the library. She was giving them a small tour but they were allowed to explore the school alone afterwards.

Nathanael looked around, amazed by the look of the school. Huge windows allowed them to have a good look of the gardens outside. It was really nice actually. Not at all what he imagined - better. He continued to carry his bags and the violin case on the way to the library.

The small librarian presented the four-story library to the students a little dramatically. She valued every book in here. She turned to the students. Clair smiled kindly. "Be quiet and respectful in here. You may rent out books, read books in here, and even donate books." Claire frowned and looked at them deviously. Her demonic look delievered a cruel tone and shivers. Her venomous mouth opened and said, "However, if you ruin, scratch, bend, or in anyother way damage one of my books or steal one, you will not see tomorrow."
Claire smiled sweetly. "Well, that is all. Just be careful at night when I am doing a little...studying.... of my spells. You may explore the school now."

Claire walked to her desk and sat down. She picked up her book, which was the last book in the Eragonseries: Inheritance.

Alexandrine smiled as he seemed to accept her apology. He was british. Alexandrine personally loved british accents. And this man, Nathanael as she reminded her, appeared to be more relaxed than most of the stiff-assed british boys she had seen. Alexandrine turned to see yet another person she didn't know. The girl claimed to be the librarian, even though she couldn't have been older than Alexandrine herself. As she noticed a group of other new students following the girl, Alexandrine shuffled her feet nervously. No one had told her where to put her trunk and bag, so she carried them with her. She followed, almost at the end of the group, but next to Nathanael.

As she entered the library, Alexandrine sighed with content. At least one of these huge books in here had to have something about necromancy. Despite her sweet looks and accent, Alexandrine was a talented Necromancer, able to conjure spirits and lesser demons from the realms of the dead. Alexandrine snapped back into reality to hear Claire's warning. Yeesh, at least Alexandrine knew one person who had an evil side. Though the part about spells seemed interesting. Maybe she would come back and watch the witch tonight. Who knew, she might even learn something useful. As it was, the french teenager whispered into Nathanael's ear, "she seems, ah how do the Americans put it? She seems to give me the creeps.." Alexandrine meant no harm by this, but she felt it best to be honest.

As she exited the library, she felt certain someone was watching them. Alexandrine turned around, only to see a flash of tawny hair and the end of a cloak move past the doorway, only for a second. Alexandrine stared curiously, but continued to walk when the person showed no signs of returning. She too looked at the gardens outside. "Oh, everything is so beautiful here.." The pink haired girl sighed wistfully, telling herself to go out when it was sunny. Only then did she notice that she was still carrying her bags. "Oh, uhmm, Nathanael right? Do you know where we go to get our dorm numbers?"

Gale walked out of his office. He brought with him the basket of dorm keys. He carried it out to the front of the school. Everyone was gone. Claire must've taken them on a tour. Gale sighed as he traveled to the library. Gale's bird, Cynthia, tweeted ahead that the teenagers were at the library. Gale shook his head as he trotted to the library. Some students were leaving, so Gale asked the wind if it would create a vortex, wide and low, around the perimiter of the library. The wind roared as it did as Gale requested. The students were trapped. Gale blew on the keys in the basket and they flew to the ground. "Take one. Boys and girls can bunk together, but no children! Seriously. Don't look like that! Just pick one. They are already on lanyards, but just take one and go to the dorm area. Thank you." Gale smiled as he left, asking the wind to calm down, which it did. Gale whistled with Cynthia as he walked to his office. Being an organizer was a good job. He could freak out the students too. This was going to be a good year.

The small witch that showed the huge library warned each and everyone of them not to mess around too much with her precious books. Nathanael didn't care too much, since he wasn't the person to read a lot due to his dyslexia. He was actually a really bad reader and struggled hard to learn spells and things like that just by reading. Practising made it easier to remember.

The French girl that had walked beside him on the way to the library, also carrying all her belongings, suddenly whispered in his ear that this witch, the librarian, gave her the creeps. Nathanael just nodded. She was indeed a bit scary and he didn't want to make her angry. "She is indeed a little bit creepy" he said in a low voice. Not long after, the librarian let the students go and told them they were free to explore the rest of the castle, so Nathanael took a fresh grip of his bags and started moving. Alexandrine said his name, which made him look at her with his hazelnut brown eyes. She asked how to get to the dorms. "Uhm.." he just said at first, looking down at his luggage and then at the girl again, "I actually don't know. I would like to know that myself." But almost just as he said that, he felt a gust of wind and as he tried to move forward, he couldn't. It was like something was stopping him. Both he and the other students were trapped in some kind of vortex. A bit ahead he noticed a boy. The boy threw in some keys to the confused students, telling them to grab one and move along to the dorms. Nathanael looked around at the other students that were picking up keys, so he did so as well. He looked at the silver key. "The only problem now is to actually find the dorm area" he said out loud, mostly to himself.

Alexandrine was cool and collected, ready to summon a spirit to aid her. She held her bags steady, hoping someone would catch her if she passed out. Fortunately, she did not have to summon any spirits to help her. It appeared that the man only wanted to give them the keys to their rooms. Alexandrine was among the few who did not give the strange windman a glowering look for his comment. She chuckled slightly at Nathanael's comment. "Cette année sera animée. I bet there are more crazy people we haven't even seen yet."

Alexandrine was among one of the last people to get a key. She watched patiently looking at all the keys. She had memorized the shape of many, hoping to find out who her roommate would be. Finally, she picked among some of the last people. She held up her key in front of her eyes, mentally comparing them to the others. After a bit of puzzling, a blush arose in Alexandrine's cheeks. If this had been in an anime book, a sweat drop line would have appeared over her head. She pivoted on the balls of her heels to face Nathanael. She held out her key for him to see. "Oh, this is awkward..." She compared his key to her own. Her horrible suspicions were confirmed. Same design, same number. Oh mon cher, c'est comme. J'espère il ne pense pas que je suis bizarre... Comment expliquer sur mon... capacités ? She walked off somewhat slowly, cursing her abilities.

She hovered a little, watching multiple species together, which made her smile. Alice grinned to herself as a slight feeling of peace flooded over her. Her family always said that many races together would spread chaos. Alice was going to prove them otherwise.

She sighed as two cheerleaders, or two people dressed as so, were fighting over a key. Appearantly, some cute guy had gotten a matching one. Alice watched as Claire, her favorite spellcaster, put her book down and picked up another one. Alice couldn't help but grin widely at the sight of the librarian reading six books a day.

Alice fluttered to the ground as she saw some students start to their dorms to put their stuff away. Some older students that weren't from this year were playing chess a few yards away, where some new kids asked to play. They were, of course, denied. Alice shook her head. The new students needed to learn their place in this school. You can't hangout with even the lamest of the next grade if you weren't the coolest in your own grade. Some students didn't care at all, but it is better to hang out with your own grade, save something happens between the cheerleaders of two grades. Those started huge school fights. Considering most cheerleaders were vampires or witches.....

June frowned as the voodoo doll struggled. It was sealed into her necklace, but the soul within the voodoo doll within the necklace was struggling. June forced his thoughts out and put on her earphones. She turned up the music and nodded her head to the rythm. The soul fought her ignorance, but to no avail. It slowly decended in movement until it stayed limp and gave up. June lowered the music to a low hum as the librarian spoke. She smiled a little, sensing the librarian was of magical origin.

June turned back up her music as she walked into the library. So many books. She would be very busy reading. June dodged the load of people as she gingerly stepped away and went out the other door and around the library, back to the front. She watched the load of keys fall from the cart and the vortex calm. She sighed as she walked over, giggling at the cheerleaders fighting over keys. June looked at the people in front of her as she approached the keys. An angel, a human, a spellcaster, and lots more. This would serve as an interesting year. June shrugged to herself and picked up a key. It was silver. A pink aura flew around it, and June noticed the angel had like-wise. June smiled and walked over to the Angel after over hearing a little french. June stuck her hand out to the angel was just coming back down to earth. "My name is June."

The students around him were picking up their keys. Two girls were fighting over a key. Apparently they wanted the same room but couldn't find the other keys. Or something like that. An angel were peacefully floating around in the air, studying the other students.

Nathanael just smiled at Alexandrine as she slightly chuckled at his comment about finding the dorms. The odd guy that cast the wind spell was now no where to be seen. She was friendly and kinda cute. Nathanael had, even though he was quite the charming type, never had female friends nor a serious relationship, so it was a bit odd for him to even speak to a girl standing so close to him.

Nathanael waited for Alexandrine to pick her key up, since she was one of the last ones to do so. It seemed like she was studying the keys on the floor to be sure to pick the right one. When she finally picked one up, she started to blush. Nathanael tilted his head a bit to the right, looking at her with a puzzled face. "Is something the-" he started, but then the girl held out her key in front of him saying it was awkward. Nathanael looked down at her key and then held out his own. They were both silver and the top of it was beautifully shaped and had number 14 on them. He couldn't help but blush slightly himself, but he tried to ignore it. "Well.." he said with a smile on his lips, "suppose we should go find our room them." Nathanael put his key down one of the pockets in his pants that was a little to big, and picked up his bags again, since he had to put them down to pick up a key, and then he started walking. Alice studied her new roommate. She was intelligent, used magic, voodoo, was a Neko, and female. Very good. Very, very good. Alice couldn't help the smile on her face. She got a new roommate. Nothing could screw this up. Save someone found the other keys.
