You walk into an open area like any other training ground, dirt floors with walls with entrances leading to other parts of squad one, this area overlooks the seireitei if one were to perch themselves onto a wall surrounding the training areas. It seems that no one ever or hardly uses this area ...
They could be busy with paperwork and office jobs inside, managing the gotei.

Shadow of the Wind   In times of war and strife...
Those with power are called to use it. Rei and Shingotsu appeared in the training grounds, finding it completely deserted, as always. So Rei simply drew his sword and waited. Shingotsu, in the meanwhile, took one deep breath inward and then let herself vanish into the blade. And so Rei spoke in a low, gentle tone, solemn, but soft. "Rise, Shingotsu!" And with that, the blade slowly became enveloped in a cloak of wind, rotating gently, yet with a defined sense of purpose. Waiting. We should try that new defensive combo we've been working on... maybe we'll be able to turn it off more easily this time... Shingotsu's tone was honest and earnest, looking forward to this fight in a lot of ways.
But what do we do when our duty makes us murderers?
What do we do, when the world makes us demons?

"There is good in him, make him smile and there's nothing to worry about"
~Ayumi~ Gato floated his chair into the training grounds with an assistant of the squad leadership following him, the feline leaning towards him hearing of some developments with the karakura patrols. With the man whispering into the cat's ear the head captain seemed focused on business in Karakura since hollows were real strong today. "If the other soul reaper is a suitable replacement then have the other report back soon .. till then leave them be and have the hollows put down .. keep the patrols in Karakura .." ordered Shingaara calmly to the soul reaper assistant next to him who bowed and scurried off at the wave of the cat's paw. He then rubbed his head with the claws out of his paws and floated his chair forward at Rei who was ready as usual so his ear swiveled to the side to see if Captain Sumiko was around. "Well then .. I suppose I should see if you are in control still" he said putting a hand on his sword hilt that was in his lap and showed the blade by unsheathing upto two inches of the sword, not drawing the blade fully. "Fly, Kibayoshi" he said calmly as he contained the blade's wind powers slightly as the surrounding area began to pick up in wind, the paw placing a claw on the side of the sword, wind blowing around the metal that was peeking from the sheeth.
Shingaara fully gripped the blade with the tips of his claws making an egg shaped barrier of wind around him and the chair to see if Rei was ready for his attacks now that his defense was ready. He had an attack planned but he was a little hesatant since it was very dangerious and high in piercing power, the very movements of his hand and sword capable of making themed attacks like, sheilds, prisions and such.
'Remember, train .. not kill ..' whispered Kibayoshi in Shingaara's head, the cat already aware of this but the powerful blade would kill even if he held back, the cat already in bankai levels compared to normal Zanpakuto while in Shikai. The seireitei had a slight breeze going on now after he released his blade into shikai, the cat holding the hilt with his other paw gripping it with the claws only, awaiting Rei to see if the head captain shouldnt hold back while in Shikai.
'People like him are the future' he thought in his head

Jasmine follow Gatomaru Ieyasu Shingaara to the training ground and stand not to far away from the fight. Seeing Rei is already and waiting for him. Not too soon the training start. Jasmine stands there with her arms cross over her chest looking at them both as Hiragana came up right beside her.
"You think Rei would be able too watch the Head captain and not you? Because I know once he starts looking at you he won't really look away." He said, as he look down at right at Rei.
"I believe he would do good, as long he keeps his mind on Gatomaru Ieyasu Shingaara. Then nothing would go wrong. But he would just have to wait for what is going to happen later on." She said, not even looking over at Hiragana but keep her eyes on them both with an smile.
. . I won't think twice of killing you right here
. . I would make you pay for it, I won't let nothing happen to them

Shadow of the Wind In times of war and strife...
Those with power are called to use it. Rei smirked as his master drew his sword and waited, and smiled a little more as Jasmine appeared. When the head captain became surrounded by wind, Rei's expression shifted to one of concentration. Alright... let's not waste any time. Immediately the man vanished into a shunpo just a little faster than traveling speed. He reappeared about five feet behind Gato with his sword held back in his right hand, the tip pointed right at Gato's chair. "Triple Strike Form One!" The attack that issued was a mixture of Sussu Wakki, Ripping Gust, and Piercing Blow. It was more or less an extremely large and powerful version of Piercing Blow. Gato was strong, but Rei was determined to become even stronger than him. It would take years, but Rei would do it, he was sure of it.
Gato could counter however he wanted... Rei had a new combo to try out after this that would certainly help him defend from Gato's powerful blows.
But what do we do when our duty makes us murderers?

~Ayumi~ Gato's ears swiveled backwards where he followed Rei's movements with his cat senses, his eyes not even bothering to eye him as he turned his chair around suddenly while floating there. Pulling his sword fully out of the sheath he leaned forward holding the blade pointing down to the ground with his claws meeting the metal. Gripping the wind fueled blade by the sharp end, the claws scratched the metal as he made sparks fly with his sudden jerk of his paw away from the blade. His paw was shaking slightly as he tensed every muscle in the hand to make a sheild, the feline not leaving his chair yet as he made very little movements while in Shikai.
A Shield of wind and horizontal slashes went across the front of his chair before the cat as Rei's attacks were cancelled out by his own wind, the ground ripping appart infront of him on the ground. The walls to the left and right in the training area cracked and sliced open with several inch deep gashes with the wind vs wind cancelation of one another clashing. The feline kept looking down as his paw, with claws out remained out by the blade that kept pointing to the ground untill he placed it pointing to the left while holding it with his right paw.
Laying his claws on the metal wind fueled blade with the torrent of wind that was around the sword blowing his furr around, he began his next move that would simulate bullets. Sliding the claws towards the sharp end of the sword, he sent out five concentrated wind bullet like attacks at Rei that had a rather violent wall of wind following it, the wind bullets the only thing that was an attack, his paw pointed out at him after scraping the claws across the metal again. The sound of his claws scarching the blade made sparks and ringing sounds go out, the feline's head still down while testing Rei here with the wind swords they both had.
'That was a fairly strong first attack .. ' he thought.

Shadow of the Wind In times of war and strife...
Those with power are called to use it. When Gato simply overpowered Rei's strongest move as it was at the moment. Rei's eyes widened and he made to move back, but Shingotsu stopped him with a hand of phantom air at his shoulder. No... Move forward. If you move back you'll get ripped to shreds. There's a break in his attack right at the edge of his barrier. If you can slip in you won't even need to defend! Rei's expression shifted as his path did, and with nothing less than his full effort, Rei dashed about halfway to where Gato sat. When the blades began to form, he turned his body sideways and extended his right arm out in front of him in Gato's direction with the tip of his blade facing the ground. "Sussu Wakki, Repulsing Gale, Ripping Gust!" Rei had never in his entire life tried this combination of techniques before, and as such had no name for it.
What resulted however was a large shield of solidified air pressure, circulating at about Ninety miles an hour. When Gato's blades collided with Rei's shield, he was pushed back a few inches. It seemed to be holding, as the very nature of the shield was not to block, but to dissipate the energy and momentum of an attack. The sheer force of Gato's stroke, however, started to pierce the defensive wall. Crap! This is gonna hurt... Shingotsu... go forward again? A solid smack inside his mind and a smile that he could only perceive affirmed his idea. Yes... his attack is weakest closest to him. Strike there and you can defeat him, let's go!
Rei suddenly dissipated his shield and dashed forward, letting the attack of Gato's start to come closer. He bounced back a step, about three feet, before concentrating some of his reiryoku into his left foot. Suddenly he sprung forward and turned his body sideways, rotating like a top between the horizontal blades. A few of the air bullets whizzed above or below him, and a few off to either side. One ricocheted off of his blade, and another his his left arm. He landed, however, very smoothly and sprung forward again, swinging his sword not at Gato, but at the chair beneath him. Let's get him up and moving. He'll never get any exercise if he stays on that chair all day long!

~Ayumi~ Gato's ears were pointing at Rei as he managed to weave his way out of the attack and the sheild making his way to the feline who was in the chair still. With his sword completely out this time the feline saw how far Rei has gotten so he thrust the blade down to the ground causing a downdraft of wind to tear appart the ground when he pointed his blade up into the sky. The effect would try and block the attack below where rei was trying to get at his chair, and attack at the same time with the thrust into the air, making a wall but the feline would do what rei wanted.
Leaping from the chair sending it floating away from the training the feline appeared overhead in flash images where he then vanished appearing behind Rei about three feet. Skidding away in a one handed fighting stance he was a little impressed on how Rei was doing, Kibayoshi still unimpressed unlike Gato here.
'Adapting in battle is what one should do .. but matching elements battling always bear one other's weaknesses anyway .. lets see what else he has' thought Gato slightly, really admiring how fast Rei adapted to his tactics of being stationary, the feline keeping this wind on wind only.
With his Kido and hand to hand out for this session, only Rei with his fellow wind sword would be able to force him out of the chair into trying a little harder since this was wind only rules in his mind.
The feline stood there as Kibayoshi kept at the edge of her mind, memories of another coming back after Rei broke through the barrier, something he hasnt seen since that Arrancar ran into him.
"Just like her" he said quietly, the Arrancar he remembered having beaten him in earlier life, he usually wondered where she is now.

§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲ The shadows seemed to glimmer as a form rose from the depths of their eternity. The figures arms were crossed and a rather bored expression on his face as Eko entered the realm of the living once more, emerging from the realm of shadows. It seemed his old comrade Rei was combatting with his old captain, training presumably. Eko merely shook his head at that. During his tenure in Squad One, Eko and Rei had made a moderate team, themselves never really having to actually fight actual fights. And then Gato, the man who decided to put Eko in the place as Squad Two lieutenant...because of that damnable incident where Eko's Bankai had unleashed. The nostalgia that was felt over those events hit the newcomer quickly but he maintained his silence and watched the duel, not even examining and cutting down each of their moves as he was usually accustomed to when watching fights occur. Rather, he just observed the spectacle and did nothing else. His own blades tingled at the Reiatsu in the air but Eko ignored it, at least until a large dragon spirit appeared next to him.
Eko took no heed of the dragon, as he continued to look upon the past. Potential, Gato had called it. That was what he said Eko had...but Eko just didn't care. The potential to fight...and to kill needlessly was what he had probably meant...Eko simply did the most minimal of actions. There were hardly any executions nowadays and family was all that mattered to the young Shinigami. His 'potential' remained untapped and it would stay that way...there was no need. No matter what his Academy Teachers said and what every superior had told another about Eko, the prospect of such...forget it. Eko's hands touched the hilt of his Zanpakutos and kept it there, almost as a reassurance. With that, the dragon spirit that appeared next to Eko fully grasped his attention.
The spirit was large...larger than any normal spirit and it circled around Eko's form, its massive head near Eko's left side. Black and silver is what defined the spirit's body, itself glimmering as it lay there, the shadows around them shaking vividly at the being's appearance. But most noticeable was the large red eyes that jutted out of the spirit's skull, black pupils watching the fight with its master. Do you miss being in this Squad? A young child's voice echoed out softly, a surprising trait of the large spirit. Eko did not respond immediately to the spirit but rather sucked in a deep breath. He thought over it for a minute before simply shrugging his shoulders. "I miss certain things, certainly the lack of responsibility and it would give me more time with Kaori and Sora...but I digress. This job is better for all of us." The spirit thought about that for a moment.
And you could have been pushed more, here. Gaos said thoughtfully, but saying nothing else of it. Eko stopped looking at the spirit, turning and nodding at Jasmine, as to not be rude, before returning to the fight, his brooding entering a new level at the presence of his Zanpakuto Spirit.

Jasmine slowly start to close her eyes and slowly entering Hiragana inner world for a few knowing the fight is going to last for a little more longer or however when Head Captain wish for her to jump right into the fight but just then she felt Eko appear not too far away from her. She lightly let out a sigh and open her eyes as she turn her head and saw Eko Tsurugi standing right there.
She lightly smile over towards him and nod her head back as he left. Jasmine look back to the fight and saw Rei is doing a rather good job with the head captain, his captain. She look over at Hiragana and saw his eyes were already close. She look back out to the fight and slowly closing her eyes.
Soon Jasmine found herself underwater entering a cave with blue flames around her as she exit the cave she enter the blue ring of fire as it close behind her as Hiragana was in his shark form swimming around. Jasmine walk right into the center where there is a old underwater castle as another blue ring of fire close behind her as Hiragana swim down and swim around her.
...I'm so lucky I can breath underwater within here, you know.... She said, as she look over at Hiragana. ... Indeed. I'm one of a kind you know. A fire master and yet I live underwater as being a shark. What made you wanted us to come within my inner home?... Hiragana said, as he kept swimming around her as he goes in and out of the flames. . . . Just the thought that came into my mind you know. Plus its the only place where we can talk without anyone hearing us. Plus you know what I been thinking but yet I don't know if I should tell the others or should I wait?... She said, as Jasmine close here eyes, hearing everything going on outside of the inner world like the fight going on with Rei and the head Captain. . . . You know that Question better then anyone my dear. Only you know when the best time would be, and when you do decide when that time is, I would always be here, I would never turn my back on my own master...... Hiragana said, his words were soft to her that moment as she look over at him as the both of them talk within his inner world, for awhile. Till the time is right when Jasmine needs to jump right out of the inner world of Hiragana and jump right into the fight when the head captain gives her the word.

Those with power are called to use it. Rei was amazed that Gato didn't strike immediately after being forced from his chair. His own left arm was bleeding from taking a wind bullet to it, so he was down to one arm for the moment. To distance himself a little, Rei lept forward and up, placing a foot on Gato's chair and leaping up over it. He noticed Eko and Jasmine, but didn't pay them too much thought. They could both handle a stray attack or two.
To make sure that nothing happened to Gato's favorite chair, Rei stuck out his hand and pointed his top two fingers at the object. "Bakudo Number Four: Hainawa!" With a flick of the wrist, Rei pulled the chair out of the way and set it down not far from Eko. Jasmine appeared to be talking with Hiragana inside her inner world, so Rei knew it was foolish to put anything flammable by her. He saw the dragon next to Eko, and simply smiled to himself. He released the Kido and moved his hand back and forth to use up any remaining traces of the spell. Looking back to Gatomaru, Rei smiled and set himself into a stance to ready himself for Gato's attack. "You always taught me sir, that I should attack as though I mean to kill, or else I will die. Well, same to you sir! I'm not holding back this time!" Suddenly Rei let loose his control on his reiryoku, letting it all condense and change into reiatsu, pressing outwards on the entire area around him. Rei! We can only hold out like this for a minute or two... so make it worth it! If you don't we'll be sitting ducks. Rei smiled outwardly and nodded to Shingotsu inside his head. "Come on Master, let's see what you can do!" He swung his sword forwards, silently generating a Sussu Wakki that struck into the ground between the two of them, generating a huge dust cloud that filled most of the training ground.
Rei appeared just in front of Gato, down low in a forward moving crouch. His right arm was crossed over his chest and upper stomach, holding his blade somewhere near his hip. The blade pointed backwards, parallel to his extended left leg. His right leg was bent to the point where the back of his foot touched his backside, with his knee nearly touching his chest. The last touch was the fact that he was bent about 45 degrees at the waist, leaning forward so that when he sprung, he could get extra momentum. And then in a flash, he launched forward, aiming to strike the head captain on his right shoulder.

~Ayumi~ Gato's ears were following Rei even if his eyes werent so they swiveled forward slightly when Rei moved infront of him, his eyes on the Lieutenant where they went from slits to dialated to focus on him. The Lieutenant went for a strike at him from down low so the feline stepped forward and pulled his sword up blocking the attack with both hands on his sword hilt. The effect of him blocking Rei's move caused winds to go around them both with his robes flowing behind him violently with tears going up the right shoulder. His paw reached out while blocking Rei's blade and grabbed onto his wrist where he held onto the Lieutenant to signal Captain Sumiko's attack on Rei after he said a little something.
"I wasnt holding back .. I was simply preserving your health for the real test after this warmup" he said quietly in his usual tone with his eyes shifting over to the side at Captain Sumiko where he kept his stance there.
"You never know .. what'll happen on the battlefield" he said thrusting his blade forward into Rei's Shingotsu where he made Rei slide back upto ten feet as he pulled Kibayoshi up and put it away where he turned around and waved at Sumiko to have at him as he walked away. The feline walking away on foot was a little odd for those who never saw him use his feet thanks to the chair, his paws walking the ground with ease as if he's been walking forever.
"Sumiko .. see if he's ready" he said quietly as he turned around by the entrance where he got back onto his chair and sat down putting his paws together.
'Rei fighting me and only me at times doesnt proove anything but that he can keep going while fighting me if he tries hard... Sumiko and him on the other hand' he thought in his head as he sat on his chair with it floating by the entrance.

He didn't say anything to the head captain but just stood by his side, Gaos taking his small child form, making a small boy with black and silver hair with red eyes. "Interesting." Eko said quietly, not to anyone in particular as he sat in an Indian Style position by the head captain, Gaos doing the same thing....well...at least there was something entertaining to watch while this occurred....

Within Hiragana's inner world she heard the head captain called her name. She look over at Hiragana as he nod, then within a second she snap her eyes open and saw the head captain walking towards her. She smile lightly with a hint of evil. Within a blink of an eye she flash step from where she was standing and appear not too far away from Rei. "Stir Hiragana." She said, as her right hand got cover within blue flames as her katana appear as the blue flames fade away from her right hand. "Ready my love?" She said, as she hold out her katana right infront of her as she let go of it as she give it on tap with her pointed finger as her katana starts to spin infront of her. "Shark Teeth." she whisper as a circle of blue flames went around her feet locking her within the blue flames. Within moments her katana cover within blue flames as little blue flames started to swim from it, there are little flames and big one's that looks like shark teeth, some are fast and some are slow and others just decide to go off in different ways, but most of them goes too the target. If Rei gets touch by one he is going to get a little burn but nothing to bad.
Before Rei could of think of everything else to block this move Jasmine hold her right hand infront of her. " Hiryūgekizokushintenraihō " She said, as she fired a gigantic electricity blast and not even more then a few second late some of the shark teeth join within the spell. Rei has about ten seconds to get out of the way if not he is most likely going to get hit.
Jasmine kept her hand right there as see kept the shark teeth going, as stands there. Knowing Rei he would most likely get out of way.

Those with power are called to use it. Rei watched as Gato defended, and prepared to strike against him from close range, when suddenly he shoved hard enough to force Rei back a good ten feet. To keep from tripping and winding up on his a**, he kicked a couple of feet into the air and wound up about fifteen feet back, all in all. He took a second to lower his reiatsu and come to grasp with his reiryoku again, sealing it back within his body once more.
And then Gato motioned for Jasmine to come and fight Rei. She immediately pulled her sword out and began the fight without delay. First it was Shark Teeth, and then Hiryūgekizokushintenraihō. 'Let's see what my shield can handle... Sonic Dissonance!" This was the temporary name he gave his shield technique, until he and Shingotsu could come up with a better name for it. The lightning and the flames crashed against Rei's shield, and as he dropped to a knee to get a better foot hold, some of the flames started to seep through the shield. A few little bits hit his right shoulder and his left leg, making him stationary for a few moments longer. Seeing more fire and a few crackles of electricity start to pierce through the shield, Rei brought his left hand up behind his right one, then sliding it right beside his right one. "Piercing blow!" The spear of wind used up all of the remaining energy in Rei's shield to pierce into the middle of Jasmine's attack and dissipate as much of it's energy as possible. While this happened, Rei used a flashstep as fast as he could, and just barely got away before the last of Jasmine's attack overpowered his own and rocketed past him. Although by that point, it was only about as strong as a Shakkaho.
