Different races?: As of right now, playable races include Chiss, Cyborg, Human, Miraluka, Mirialan, Rattataki, Sith Pureblood, Twi'lek, Zabrak. These races are restricted by class, however, the legacy system allows players to "unlock" races to be played with any class.

Jedi Knight -- Advanced class Sentinel or Guardian
Jedi Consular -- Advanced class Shadow or Sage
Smuggler -- Advanced class Gunslinger or Scoundrel
Trooper -- Advanced class Commando or Vanguard
Imperial Classes:
Sith Warrior -- Advanced class Juggernaut or Marauder
Sith Inquisitor -- Advanced class Assassin or Sorcerer
Imperial Agent -- Advanced class Operative or Sniper
Bounty Hunter -- Advanced class Mercenary or Powertech

Non-combat or side skills?: This game has fantastic side skills for item crafting and gathering, which can be delegated to the player's NPC companions if the player is too busy to spend time gathering.
Can you PvP, PK or Duel?: Yes, PvP is enabled on all servers. However, some PvP servers enable players to engage in PvP at all times.
How are the quests?: Story oriented. This game will appeal to those who enjoy RPGs and are less enthused with the "grinding" found in other MMOs
Can you team up with other players?: Absolutely! Guilds and groups are available to players -- however, be careful when choosing a server with "light" population, as some of these servers are so lightly populated players have trouble getting groups.
Any Bosses?: Yes, there are many different kinds of "bosses" in this game, which vary depending on the type of character the user plays.
