About Maplestory
Maplestory is a F2P (Free to play) side scrolling MMORPG with cute chibi style characters. Players hunt monsters for loot, complete quests, participate in party quests, events and much more. You can even create guilds, and families, both of which give you access to guild/family skills, plus you get to meet and chat with people within the guild and family. You can also alliance with other guilds to form a even bigger community.
The game was developed by Wizet and was released in Korea in 2003 by the publishers Nexon (Nexon.com). The game was later released to Nexon America (Nexon.net) in 2005, and then in Europe in 2007.
Ever since release, Maplestory has had hundreds, and I literally mean hundreds of updates and events. Some of which include new classes, new worlds/places, new items, new bosses, more quests, and so much more that iI couldn't possibly list it them all.
