Alright peeps. Dear Goats dropped by and decided to make me guild leader, which I reluctantly accepted and will gladly fork over to anyone who wants the job, or if anyone has issues with me leading.
But that aside I'd like to to a little spring cleaning and also throw some ideas around. As everyone knows it's gotten awful quiet around here and we've lost some members. Now I know it's finals time, but after this I'd like to try to 'defib' the guild as it were. So idea for events, group meet ups, or even just group smebs to get things going again will be much loved.
We also need to try to get back to doing what we were made for I think, helping people in zomg.
I'd personally like to toss out the idea of creating a new home thread, since editing the current one is impossible without our once fearless leader Maz.
I'll try to get a announcement out soon for it, but anyone who'd like to help, post here or PM me.

Congratulations(or maybe not sweatdrop ) Kiera on your new position. I'm sure you can carry out guild events until Mazelle returns.
Anyways, new home thread? I wouldn't want one. There's just too many memories in that single thread. Although I never post in it, I always like to read the entertaining stories and, I don't know why but, I don't want the thread to get shelved T^T

I'll help make a new thread if people want to. But what I think we should do is make a thread here, in the guild, that has posts that are bios for the MLHs, that we can link people to, cause I also do not want the current thread shelved cause of the memories ^^"
When I say bios, I mean like their username (and a coded username so people can copy easily so they can whisper us) the times they are on, why they are on when they are, and ect...
For example my post would look like this:Name: Apple Blossom19 Apple Blossom19 Nickname(s): Apple Location: California, USA Time Zone: Pacific Standard Time (PST)Times online: Varies, but usually 1PM - 11PM PST. If you see my status below my avi when I post, and it is online, I am online. Days available: Any day. I volunteer for the Boy Scouts, so I might not be on some weekends (Fri-Sun). Rings: All at CL 10, a few at CL 11 and CL 12. Areas on zOMG I know how to play: I can play any area from Barton Town to DMS. DMS class: I know how to tape, cat, knife, arden. I know how to aggro YRs not GRs. How to contact me: PM or Quote me to get my attention. If I am in zOMG you can whisper me when it's working : ) Threads I help with other than MLH: I currently help with Pinko Sacredheart's Smeb thread sometimes <3

Hmm... I'm not sure a new thread will do much for us if things continue to remain the same. Unless... surprised
We start a new thread that is specifically for crewing and retain the old thread for our usual shenanigans. 3nodding

I actually think a new thread would be effective, now that I've sat back and looked at it. Instead of one person creating the thread, we could make a mule that a few regularly active people have the password to so if one person goes away for a while, the thread can still be updated and so forth and so on.

Although the idea of creating a separate thread for only crewing exists, that would 1) cause our thread to only really be chatting and not zOMG! related, and thus be moved to a different forum, which I'd really hope never happens and 2) would be annoying to go check one thread then another.
Shadow's idea of having a new thread for run by a mule is interesting, and would probably be the best way to do it if we do decide on having a new thread.

Silk Kanishk Like I said, we could have both threads up. The old one for our regular chat like threads and the new one for serious "zOMG and crewing only" discussions. The only problem I can think of with this is keeping up to date with both threads. XP /Points to her two reasons again. The last thing I want is to have our thread moved to the Chatterbox and get nooby spam posted in it. o 3o

Just thought I would share this thought that I had in Skype with Maz, Zz, Shadow, Ren, and Mina:Quote: Let me put it this way: I was part of Edmund's Sexy Party, and when the new Friends Chat forum was enforced, it was moved to Friends chat because of the spam and s**t not related to Edmund. So the creator made a new thread for friends chat, and one for Community Discussion. Now both threads are dead.
