Tick, tick, tick. Ushio had awakened to the sound of a clock ticking beside her. 'Where am I?' She thought. She was lying on her side with her knees up to her chest until the ticking noise nearly ticked her off, so she sat up. Looking around, she realized she was in a large room, almost like a barn. There were cracks throughout the whole building, but it didn't look completely abandoned considering there was a working clock, and dirty clothes just lying on the floor. She stood up, and headed towards what she believed was the front door, walked out, and saw a lake that was kind of small. She studied the area, realizing there weren't many trees, no clouds in the sky, and the grass is a lush green. She stepped forward towards the lake and felt a slight breeze. 'Hm, seems like I just appeared here, not a person in sight.' She thought. She smiled only slightly and breathed in deeply, soaking in the relaxing air, then releasing it with a silent sigh.

"Bloody women and their needs..." A male's grumbling could be heard echoing through the dark halls of what seemed to be a rather large mansion. It was nestled on the outskirts of one of the larger cities, and hidden slightly within the forest. Many believed that a demon or creature of the night owned it, funny how they aren't that far off. This fine estate actually belonged to the owner of the voice that had been heard previously. The poor fellow had been awoken from his slumber by a prostitute that he had picked up the previous night. she had simply woke him to tell him to contact her again, as if that would actually happen. The owner, Nero, never was fond with asking someone twice. He usually stuck to finding a different woman when he needed certain...pleasures...done.

Running his fingers through the silky violet colored locks, his silver hues watched as the woman collected her stuff out of the livingroom. The woman was quite the sight to behold, lush pink lips, straight pale blond hair, and then a figure that most women would kill for. Yep, she had been quite the catch and now he was releasing her like all the others. Smooth baritones echoed around the large room as he spoke, "It was a pleasure having your company last night. I will be sure to contact you again." He had a charming grin in place of his usual bored expression. Cold, silver hues watched as the woman practically swooned at the sound of his vocals. Ushering her to the door, he opened it up and watched as she got into the taxi and drove off.

Slamming the door shut, the smile dropped and was replaced with his lips drawn in a thin line. Shaking his cranium he muttered under his breath, "Like hell I will you tramp." Moving up the stair, he entered his bedroom and sat down on the black satin bedspread. Taking his arms out of the sleeves of his kimono, he yawned and looked towards the closet. 'Now what to wear...' Getting back up to his feet, he stalked over to the closet and changed into a different kimono(look in the picture). Walking out of the closet, he headed out of his room and down the stairs again. Heading to the fridge, he took out a few bars of hershey's chocolate and then turned to leave when his path was blocked by Tsuki.

"Nero-sama, how many times do I have to tell you that chocolate isn't a healthy breakfast?" The bleach blond asked her boss knowing full well what his answer would be. Her five plumes swayed behind her and audits twitched a bit on top of her head. "Once more dear Tsuki-chan and then another after that." He barely dodged a swipe of her claws as he slipped out of the door. As he ran down the driveway he could hear her ranting about dumb bosses. He chuckled, but still didn't stop running until he was a good distance from that mansion. Picking up the scent of an unknown person near the lake not far away, he allowed himself to start running at speeds beyond what a human was capable of.

As the scent got stronger, his hues widened slightly as he noticed that the person smelled rather familiar. When he got to the clearing with the lake, a smile split across his lips when he saw the small form of one of his few friends. Walking over to the silver-haired girl with grace and stealth that would make vampires seem graceless and ninja seem obnoxious, he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her agaist his chest. A chuckle rumbled in his chest as he purred in his deep baritones, "Now Ushio-chan, what are you doing in the forest all alone when my mansion is only ten miles away from here?"

Ӈime found herself lying on the floor when she awoke. She jumped up, startled at how she just fell. Her and Elizabeth were walking around the forest, like normal, when they suddenly both collapsed. Hime ran through what just happened and remembered Elizabeth. Elizabeth! Hime stood up and frantically looked around her and then turned around to find Elizabeth right behind her. She collapsed next to her, relieved.
She did what she normally would do when she was alone. Run through her past. When she and Elizabeth were small children in their villiage. The bullies, the beatings, the cries of pain with tears, and the flames. She remembered the names too. Witch... Freak... Psycho... Die. Hime glanced at Elizabeth, wondering when she would wake up. She couldc've sworn she her somebody crying. She stood up agin and tried walking, breaking a twig in half with a large crack.

A sly grin crept over his lips as he felt the girl trying to struggle within his grasp. "Ushio-chan, I can't believe you didn't recognize my voice. Your so cruel! I guess you need to make it up to me huh~" Chuckling, he leaned down and pecked her on the cheek. "There, now I think that will suffice as a make-up gift~" Releasing her quickly, he dashed to a tree and climbed up onto one of the top branches so she couldn't hit him.

Nero cringed slightly at the thought of listening to that. He didn't get to reply though because his favorite little angel was leaving. "Ushio-chan, you can't leave me! What if a bad man comes and trys to rape me?!" He jumped down out of the tree leaving a small crater in the ground where he landed, and began running after the silver haired beauty. "Come on Ushio-chan, please don't leave me. I thought you were my friend~" He finally caught up to the small girl and picked her up in his arms princess-style. "Now I'm not going to let you go until you promise you won't run off."

"Darling little Ushio-chan, I have never missed a day of work, I'm sure my boss can handle me being away for a day...besides, the hospital I work at is privately owned. I think you can guess who owns it too, can't you little one?" Nero loved to make the girl scream in frustration. To him it was pure entertainment, though sometimes her high-pitched, banshee-like shrieks could be too much for his poor sensitive ears. Holding her with one arm, he grabbed a piece of chocolate shoved in her open mouth when she spit out the last line. "Urusai baka, we don't even know what is in this forest!" He hissed lowly beside her ear once he was holding her with both arms again. "Now, I believe Tsuki-chan will want to see you. After all, you have been away for quite sometime."

Nero sighed as he stared down at the girl in his arms. 'Why does she never bloody listen to people?!' Taking out another piece of chocolate, he stuck it between her lips and said with a grin, "Sure gaki, but lets get out of this area first. I have yet to explore this part and don't like the idea that you are even here..." Still carrying her in his arms, he darted of towards his mansion though he could feel the pair of eyes that were watching him leave. 'And that was why I didn't want her to make too much noise...so troublesome.'

It didn't take him long to get to the mansion and the minute he walked through the door, Tsuki was there sweeping Ushio out of his hold and into her own. "Ushio-chan, you haven't been around in a while! How could you be so mean?!" As Nero walked by, he through a bar of chocolate the girl's hand and said, "There's the chocolate I promised." He then headed into the livingroom and sat on the couch.
