So...welcome! Make yourselves at home. Oh you made a place to introduce ourselves! whee Hello, I'm Kraski and I've just joined this guild. Apart from being a LOTR fan, I am a student of art history. I'm also really into Russian music and lit. Anyways, I suppose thats all for now.....Nice to meet you all!

Woot!
I'm Mae Noelle, I joined this place in January... gotta love everything LOTR related... and left in Febuary due to... complications. Came back online, ran to Gaia (Bliss!!1), and then there came guilds and then Syn went and bought one and then I came, I saw, and I conquered.
Want to know a little bit about me? No? Ok. I'm 16-25 years old, I love language and the study of it, I love Gaia, I love politics, GOD I HATE JOHN KERRY, I love religion and debating it, I love guys with go-tees, I hate ppl hoo tlk lyk dis, I hate beggers, I love making .gifs and images and pixel stuff and selling them and making GOLD, etc etc etc... I also, once upon a time, spend 40k on fairy wings instead of buying a devils tail. I now bitterly hate fairy wings and devils tails and wish an Oct. ><

Well, I'm jas, I'm 16, I joined this Guild a short time ago. I don't have much time online now that school has started, but I try to get on whenever I can. I adore The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings, the books sand the movies (but mostly the books). I also love the Harry Potter series, anything to do with Celtic (Irish and Scottish) mythology, Arthurian Legend, and the such. I love poetry, and write some of my own. Erm...what else? OH! I love the band Led Zeppelin, and most other classic rock. It's so much better than so much of the crap they call music these days. I wish I was a teenager in the 60's or 70's....People describe me as a "hippie," a "nerd," an"orch dork," (I play the viola), and the "smart chick over there." I don't mind....I'd rather be smart than an idiot. Alright, I've written more than enough, so I'll leave off here. Sorry for saying so much, but I like to talk about myself! xp

My name is Deramin, and I'm a Tolkoholic. crying (If you know where that comes from, you're as pathetic as I am.) I'm an avid collector of Tolkien Book knowledge, and although I enjoyed the movies, I'll still hold to the "needs improvement" camp. I run " Deramin's Sadisticaly Difficult Tolkien Trivia" and " The Darwinian ED" here on Gaia. I can usually be found in the ED, though I do tend to lurk a bit more than post. My favorite cha. is Sam. My favorite race are Hobbits (with Dwarves in a close second). My favorite book Tolkien wrote is LotR (followed closely by Farmer Giles of Ham and Roverandom in that order). I haven't taken the ring and chain I wear around my neck off for over a year. I'm an avid Sims player and want to go into Interior Archacture. (I had over 100,000 imported items at last count). I also like RPGs. I refuse to pay for MMORPGs, though. I play D&D at school. (yes, I'm in that group of uber geeks.) I built my computer, Xan, myself. I read a ridiculas amount of Web comics on a regular basis. I love politics. I made a Bush punching doll for my Eng. teacher. I've recently taken up brewing. (Root Beer. Strong Root Beer.) Well, I could go on, but I'm sure that's enough about me. (Maybe too much whee ) [EDIT] I fence. There is something special about holding steal in you fingers and knowing you have the potential to kill someone. Yet there is an air of nobility about it. There is a respect that sits with that steal that I've never felt in any other context. I really enjoy it. My girlfried is considering taking archery. Okay, I LOVE LotR's, though I can't say I'm obbsessed( Eyes the above person gonk ). Any who, I still know what I'm talking about. I'm planning on starting to read Tolkiens other books after school starts. whee
I can be found bumping/chatting in minishops, or hanging around the QnF (mostly lurking, I like to learn stuffs from there... it's what makes me QnFer, wanting to know stuf about Gaia... sweatdrop ). I LOVE Role Playing and RPGs( but I don't like the Idea of having to pay for some).
I m a Modling of this guild, so if you need something, just ask. blaugh

Well, I'm a Tolkienite. That much is obvious by my membership in this guild. The detailed history of LotR is what most amazes me. (I just like history, period.) I was drawn in by the films, but held in awe by the sheer beauty of Tolkien's work. I'm an aspiring writer IRL, though that dream may be all but lost. sweatdrop Aside from that, I'm an Otaku--RahXephon and Escaflowne being two of my favorite animes.
I'm also a heavy procrastinator and all around couch potato, although I spend more time on the computer than watching TV, since I don't have cable. xp I'm just a Chinese dork/nerd/geek (whatever you fancy wink ) who needs to see natural sunlight a little more often. And I have an uncanny tendency to be absolutely random among friends. As for music...I love oldies. (Jas...you rock. Led Zeppelin rocks.) Oh, yes! And I'm into the classic comic books—Spidey, X-Men, Batman, Superman, etc. They just have a surprisingly down-to-earth quality that appeals to me.

Hello everyone... my name's Annette and I've loved Tolkien since I was 8 and I read the Hobbit. LOTR was the forst really big book I ever read. I thought the movies kicked serious a** but I was a little disappointed at what they left out. Except for Tom Bombadil... I hate that little b*****d.
Anyway, I'm 17 years old, I live in Ontario... and I have a disgusting older sister who reads LOTR slash and edits LOTR slash that people send her after they write it. If you don't know what slash is, I envy you more than you'll ever imagine. So, in conclusion, my name's Annette, I like LOTR, and used to write comedic Lord of the Rings fan fiction in grade 10 but I have (thankfully) given that up. So... if you see me posting something in the chatterbox etc... please be gentle.

Yohoho. I'm one of the coolest 12 year olds you'll ever meet on Gaia. cool . Yeah, I'm 12, isn't it amazing? Also, you can call me Jobee, if you're not comfortable with "Baka". I read The Hobbit as a school project. I was fasinated, and at a point (around 10 years old) I made my xanga to have a LotR theme on it. domokun Oh, and I was an old member of the Tolkien Guild, but you don't need to know that.

Hi everyone. You can call me Eight for short. I'm a huge fan of Tolkein ever since I read The Hobbit. I look up to him and have been fascinated by his novels and ideas.
I've read the following books by Tolkein:
The Hobbit
The Silmarillion
The Lord of the Rings
The Book of Lost Tales II
The Treason of Isengard
I'm currently reading the Shaping of Middle-earth. I enjoy the movies as well, but they are in no comparisson to the book IMO. 3nodding
Um....I also love Orcs so much and have a strong compassion for them.
