Well I hope everybody can give each other some info on their own personal status for this year's Otakon. Are you prepared? What cosplay(s) do you have set up? Still looking for rooms? Let's chat everybody....

I got my hotel and I pre-registered. Cosplay is ready too whee
However, I'm trying to scramble to get spending money together. Being unemployed sucks, but I'm just happy I can at least attend. That's what matters to me smile

I'm going, and bringing a bunch of friends with me! We're gonna pile into two cars and stay at my grandparents house in Columbia. As soon as my next paycheck comes in, I'm taking care of my preregistration. As for cosplays, I'm going as the BLU Scout from Team Fortress 2, and possibly Light Yagami from Death Note, if I can make sure I can pull him off. Anyone got a Death Note I could borrow? ouo

Hotel is Reserved, got lucky and found a nice 1 bed room for me and my girlfriend, and we both are preregistered. Very excited for otakon this year! Wasn't sure if i was going to be attending, it all came down to being able to get a hotel. I only live 20 mins from Baltimore, but the drive and trying to find parking was too much of a hassle, so finding the hotel was a must and since we did, we are going. Put my days off in for work and I'm set to rock. Not cosplaying tho. I just like to look at the others. Hope to see you all there!

Well as of now I've had the place we're staying at since last year (friend's relative's house), I'm preregistered, and I'm working on cosplays.
Plans for cosplays are Peppo from Gankutsuo: Count of Monte Cristo, Jacuzzi from Baccano! (for the 3rd year in a row~), possibly Captain America, and possibly a self-designed Squirtle gijinka.
I'm going with a bunch of friends, same ones as last year. One year maybe I'll have enough space to bring my little brother, but this year if everyone goes again there won't be any room for him, sadly.

GO. depends idk really my friend dosent wanna go this year and going alone is boring as hell =3= so right now i am at a meh state one of my friends might go but they arent sure so depending on if they go will determine if i go

I have so many costumes that I love, but I think I may just be XIII members all weekend, because that coat is just so awesome and epic. I usually do 4 costumes, maybe five, cause I cosplay for the drive too, but I got my coat last year, and was Xion all weekend, because it was so cool. But if my friend who cosplays as the 11th doctor comes, I will be River at least one day. mrgreen
I'll be at the Hilton - WHOOOOOOO!!!!! and I'll be by the LARP nearly all weekend! mrgreen

I'm psyched because my cousin will be coming this year! Yay!
I wish my boyfriend would come, but he's throwing every excuse in the book at me.
So... I dunno.
As for cosplays? Same as always. I don't have money or motivation to do anything else.
