A few miles away from town if a graveyard for all of those who passed. It's a rather large graveyard whose numbers nearly doubled whenever the Great Shinobi War came into passing. This place is rather quiet and church bells can be heard coming from the center of the graveyard since there is a small prayer house where funerals are held.

By the time she had reached the Graveyard her mind had cooled down considerably. The tranquil, eerie silence that swallowed the graveyard in it's isolation along with the lingering mist made her feel like she belonged there. Isolation. Something she had always been used to, even if she couldn't remember any incidents involving it. She just felt like she didn't belong anywhere, she had no place.

The silence was defeaning, however. The calling of the crows was the only noise in the area at that moment, a chilled feeling sweeping down her spine. It was slightly chilly, but she didn't mind it all that much. She walked aimlessly through the stretch of headstones, crosses and memorials, glancing at them all with a curious sense of detachment. "Heh. If only I had someone here... Some one I could grieve for. Heh, better yet I be buried in the ground along with all these damned souls." She sneered viciously, kicking a stone along with rugged path as she walked with no destination in particular. She walked until it was dark, so a few hours really. The twilight was slowly sweeping over the area, the darkness taking hold of the once vailiant sunlight.

Usually there were church bells tolling motonously after a funeral. That was almost every day. But there wasn't one today. "Maybe it's my funeral." She knew she'd never have a funeral. She'd die and that'd be it. She'd die a meaningless death, without ever knowing anything. That thought played over and over again in her mind. She lashed out. Taking Kiba off her back, she let out a reverberating roar and slashed one of the headstones off a memorial in a blaze of furious, squealing lightning. Her scream scattered through out the entire area, chilling the graveyard to it's boney ribs. She could hear the crows caw frantically and their wings scrape as they scrambled away. Now it really was deadly quiet. She was panting hard, and furious. Her chest was heaving with the frustration of three long years. Three years of confusion and lies. Lies about herself.

Voices cried in her head, symphonies of daunting voices all speaking at once, about how she didn't save her, how she let him die, how she betrayed him. "No... No... Stop... Get out of my head! No!" She gripped her head desperately and collapsed to one knee. The pain was unbearble. She screamed, stood up, and roared as she swung Kiba once more at three headstones, smashing all three of them with lightning which set them ablaze with roaring fire. She didn't move. She panted hard, and collapsed against one of the headstones she had destroyed. She got an odd sense of delerious satisfaction from destruction, setting the tombs on fire. It seemed it was the only thing she could actually do. It was something she enjoyed to do.

The crows all scattered throughout the graveyard stopped crowing as Ryumei began to lash out with her blade. One of the crows even smirked at this hostile nature. As Ryumei fell to her knee, the crows slowly began to congregate on one single headstone. Their bodies began to fuse into the form of a woman, a rather slender and tall woman as well.
Her hair bounced to her side as the color of her body formed. She stood up, wearing nothing but a long fur coat that gently swept over her knees and rather serious jet-black heels. Her eyes pierced with a violet color, completely similar to the time Ryumei had seen Miyami at the Mizu Tower. Her chakra scent had an evil like no other, an evil that could be misjudged.
Slowly she walked up to Ryumei, allowed her heels to clack off of random tombstones that stood in her way. She seemed to be having a hard time walking, almost as though it weren't something she did quite often. Once she was only three feet away from Ryumei she stopped.
She then turned her serious expression into a bit more cheerful and excited one. "You do not need to be confused any longer." Sanami smiled but decided that that was answer enough for the already distraught woman. "I know what you want, and I know what I can offer... Imagine a world rid of dark voids, empty space. Every page is in the book, not a single was ripped out. Ryumei dear, I have those pages, every last one of them."
Sanami wasn't all too sure what Ryumei wanted out of her life, but she does remember how powerful she was and if she could somehow manipulate her brain and get some more eyes on the inside then this would be well worth it.

As the amber flames flickered silently in the background, Ryumei found herself desperately searching for a flight of devils to wing her to her rest. She was tired with everything, she couldn't handle it. She had nothing to live for anymore, it was all in vain. A pathetic, dwindling existance. Why... Why am I here? She stared at the ground, her grey eyes listless and empty. She had no reason for living, nothing to devote herself to, nothing to prove. The village was practically all she had, even that wasn't much. It was a false sense of cameraderie between her and the village. It really felt like she was against the world in this.

She knew something was badly wrong when she couldn't even recognise the chakra scent that had confused her so badly back at the tower. The first thing she heard were the crows scattering back, then watched as they all lined atop a single headstone, almost like they were mocking her. She snared agressively and turned her head, aware that they were seemingly all morphing into the one person. That person, as a factor of fact. She didn't really care at this point what would happen, so she just sat there, about as cumbersome and lifeless as a ragged old doll with stiff joints, beaten and thrown away. Then that malicious, deleriously enticing evil chakra sense made her succumb to her senses. She glanced up out of the corner or her eyes, her profile highlighted by the flickering fire.

Her eyes narrowed. She remembered those piercing violet eyes, coupled with the chakra no doubt. What did she want with her? Ryumei didn't care at this point. She looked away again, but all the same listening to her speak. Her expression suddenly turned vicious. "Don't toy with me! You know nothing! How can you know anything when I know nothing myself?!" She cried out indignantly, her teeth gritted, her fist clenched so hard her skin was white. She took a deep breath and her tone calmed down considerbly, but never the less never lost it's icy cold tune. "Just tell me what you really want and get the hell away from me, you have nothing I could possibly want. You're wasting your time. Don't you have a village to destroy?" She snared coldly, evident she really couldn't care less about the fate of the village at this point. She ran her tongue over the roof of her mouth and stared at the ground once more, and found herself beginning the chuckle. Apart from the fact this woman claimed to know about her own past, nothing was funny. It was the chuckle signalling her decent to utter madness.

Sanami could see that even though this woman had lost everything, she was still quite stubborn. It was time to get down and dirty with her negotiating. She could, if she wanted to, just use some sort of Genjutsu, but where was the fun in cheating?
Sanami took several steps back as she saw how aggressive Ryumei was about the whole situation. She was tempted to just use Genjutsu but she quickly caught her composure. "I know more than you think for I have eyes in all places." Sanami took several steps closer to Ryumei and listened as her laughter consumed her mind. Sanami knew the signs of such a laugh, she was consumed with confusion, perhaps madness was a better word for it though. "Tell me something, what are you called now Akiko?" Sanami knew the answer to this but she wanted to prove to Ryumei that she knew much more than she was letting on.

Her laughing simply turned into a smirk at the end of it all. She had eyes everywhere? What did that even mean? Her opaque eyes swivelled to hers with a mischevious look. This was definitely the one at the tower, she could feel it. Her sensor senses were too sharp for her to miss something like this. She was still confused. She really didn't know what she wanted with her, or she probably noticed Ryumei during her little nervous breakdown and decided to use it as a source of entertainment. Ryumei knew she would anyway.

In regards to her question, Ryumei just blinked, all austerity returning to her heart-shaped face. Her eyes just stared, ready to turn to anger. "What the hell are you talking about?" AKIKO!!! Ryumei winced sharply. Flashbacks were becoming more and more requent now, but she shook her head sharply. "I don't know who Akiko is. How do you... How do you know about that?" She didn't really intend to succumb to her teasing, but she couldn't help it. Maybe she did really know something. Her eyes widened. The anger seemed to have left, but surely it would come back. It always did. "What do you know about me?" Her voice was more suspicious, if anything. It wasn't a question, but more like a statement.

Sanami could tell her words had some sort of impact on Ryumei. She could see the woman's face grow more confused and intrigued all at once. Since Sanami knew that things were going the way she wanted, she decided to speak honest words once more. It wouldn't be until later that Sanami would manipulate the truth so that Ryumei would join her cause. "Akiko my dear, do not deny what you cannot recall. You know exactly who Akiko is... Akiko is you." Sanami flipped her dark blonde hair, allowing it to fall sporadically on her pale white fur coat. "Pledge faith into me and I will allow you the ultimate gift."
Sanami snapped her fingers and instantly a coffin rose from the ground. "All I need is your loyalty and you'll get to see her again." Sanami wasn't quite sure how Ryumei would react to the name 'Kimi' but within the coffin was Kimi's Edo Tensei reanimation. Kimi's conscious would be able to speak with Ryumei one last time. "Do you want to see that girl...? That girl that was burnt and could not be saved? I can give you such a gift but it would come with a price." Sanami's eyes glowed a sinister violet color, but at the same time she grinned warmly. Playing nice wasn't exactly her game but if this was something Ryumei wanted then there would be no reason for her to not give in to the only temptation left in her world.

Ryumei shifted in her position, resting her weight on her heels she put one knee on the ground, somewhat of a defensive position. She glanced at one of her swords that lay of the grass beside her. She picked it up and put it back in her holster. What she was saying made no sense to her, but still she could feel something burning in her stomach. Whether it was anxiety of nerves she did not know, but she did know she would not let it cloud her judgement. But something she was saying sounded familiar, the names. Something didn't feel right...

Quickly she leaped to her her feet and moved back from Sanami, clutching the headstone like her life depended on it. Her eyes were burning with such intensity she didn't know what to do. Was she lying? Who was in the coffin? What did she want with her? She shook her head. "Why should I believe anything you say?" She more muttered to herself than Sanami. Her eyes swivelled to the coffin, then to Sanami's own sinister malicious ones. She was pure evil, she could sense it. She had no reason to believe her. "I don't know what you're planning to do, or what you're ulterior motive is, but I'm not willing to do anything for you, you can just forget it. I'm not a pawn." She narrowed her eyes. She wasn't interested in the slightest, she didn't even know who was in the coffin. She didn't have anyone important to her... That she knew of. "... Who is the "she" you're referring to? Who's in that coffin?" Her voice was filled with a more dier sense of urgency. Was this some kind of sick joke? She didn't know. All she knew was she felt like throwing up, she didn't like being penetrated like this. Did she really have the answers she was seeking?

Sanami had to admit, even to herself, that this woman was extremely hard-headed but even so, those with a hard head tend to not be so easily manipulated. Sanami knew that she was by far the best person for manipulating others. If she could get Ryumei on her side, then there would be no way she'd flip once again. "You've had ample amount of time to simply walk away. You crave this information, you need it."
Sanami turned to the coffin lid which cracked open a little only to release a white haze from its confines. "Someone dear to you is in the coffin. You've lost something dear to you, perhaps it could be something as simple as a friend, or something as precious as a memory." Sanami grinned and left it at that. She didn't want to pester Ryumei's mind too much. She liked to leave it vague and keep her on her toes, Sanami found this to be an easy method for suppressing someone's madness.

Ryumei had calmed down considerably now, her heart rate regular and her mind steady. However the anxiety was swarming around her like flies. "Someone dear to me? You've lost me." She smirked, truly unaware of what was really occuring. Had she had idea who was really in that coffin, things would be different. "Okay, it's clear you're trying to bribe me. I doubt you're doing this out of the goodness of you're heart. So, tell me. What do you really want?" She was still curious, however, her gaze was noticeably still lingering on the coffin, and the smokey haze released from the crack. She was trying to show strength, but really she was quite weak in the knees.

Sanami decided to go ahead and let Ryumei know of some things she wanted in return. "My motives are a wee-bit dry at the moment. I love to bolster my armies though my payments will not be in Ryo, but rather, in memories." Sanami's body took several steps back so that she would be in the background and that all that would stand before Ryumei is the coffin. "I see an emptiness in your eyes. I am not blind to the fact that you've lost everything. With that known, perhaps you should take a moment to consider this opportunity before you. This one person cannot tell you everything that has happened, but she has her own memories and can tell you some details none the less. It is someone you knew in your past but do not know now." Sanami shook her head, still trying to make sense of why Ryumei was being so stubborn. "Surrender your heart to my ideals and you will be set free." Sanami didn't really have any plain goal in sight so she really decided to just leave it vague, but with a kiba-wielder on her side, things would really be going swimmingly for her.

She shook her head. Clearly this woman wasn't answering what she wanted to know. "That's not what I... Never mind. But..." She hesitated, and her gaze shifted involuntarily to the headstone for a brief second. She crossed her arms, momentarily consumed by thoughts of a most delerious attachment. "But if it means I discover something, anything if it's to do with who I really am, then I don't care what I have to do." The authoritive, austere tone of her voice proved she was serious about it. She hadn't really had much time to think about it, but it wasn't like she had anything to lose. She already lost it all, might as well be worth knowing what happened if she can't recollect it herself. There was something interesting about this woman she quite liked.

Sanami's eyes flickered a bright violet as Ryumei gave herself to doubt and darkness, even if only for a moment. "Yes, your questions will all most certainly be answered." Silently Sanami walked up to Ryumei, seeing as how she was much more reasonable now. "Your reason will being will return to you the moment the coffin opens. I need to know whether or not you will surrender yourself for the sake of progression." Sanami flipped her hair before turning into several hundred crows and flying away.
As the crows flew, a whispering noise could be heard in only Ryumei's ears, 'You know what this would mean to you. A good conscious means nothing when no one would thank you in return. Reward yourself before you reward others... Need I go on?'
There was no way that Sanami would leave on this note though. The crows flew high over-head, watching Ryumei as they did so. Whatever action she so chose to do would need to be done sometime soon.
