Off the coast of Kirigakure's main island is a small cave inaccessible by ships. Only a select few know of this place and only fewer have a reason to come here. Inside the cavern is a stone temple that can only be entered by someone possessing one of the exclusive seven swords of the mist. The temple serves as a gathering place for the swordsmen to discuss things.
The temple's door responds to a sword of the mist and only opens when within close proximity to it.

Melonie was a hard-head by all means. In fact the only reason she was here was because no one else was. The mist swordsmen were required to show up at the base every once in awhile which was the dumbest rule ever in Melonie's opinion.
Quietly she sat there with nothing better to do. Things were getting rather dull here and she was about to head out if no one else was going to show up. "Where the hell are all these idiots?" Melonie rolled her eyes and paced around the temple. There really wasn't much of anything to be seen in there aside from a few rare items that didn't have any practical use. "I swear, D is probably out being an a**. He's late as usual. What a freaking p***k." Melonie had a sour disposition when it came to D. Even though he was the leader of the swords, he always tended to be a bit of a wart when it came to talking strategy. He just seemed like nothing really mattered unless it involved Kirigakure which drove her crazy.
She still couldn't help but notice something odd going on though. Melonie wasn't blind to the fact that it wasn't like D to just up and stay gone for this long. Something must've been going on.

D wandered in just as she Melonie had finished calling him a p***k. "I heard that! But since I'm in a such a glorious mood today, I'll act like I didn't." He swanned on over to a seat, he was usually in a good mood. But this time he was truly, genuinely happy for once. He put his feet up on a table cross legged and pointed to her with the index. "Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup, M dog?" He said in his best imitation rapper accent. Which was predictably an utter fail because his natural accent was a very strong English one. He tried his best anyhow.

Melonie sighed in relief when he decided not to scold her for such a comment. She was still young and wasn't exactly the best sensor so she wasn't aware of his presence. "Dude, you need to quit sneaking in like that. Oh, and nothing's up other than that one b***h killed the Kabutowari dude." Melonie pointed to the weapon now hanging up in the back. "Tough but if he's going to die then he doesn't even deserve the weapon."
Melonie walked up to the door but decided against leaving just yet. This was too good of an opportunity to talk about what there next plan of action was. "Some crazy chick killed him on the next island over. I personally wasn't assigned to be his partner so I couldn't care less." Melonie shrugged and pointed to the air next to D. "Where the Kiba chick?" Melonie made it a personal mission to not remember names when it came to the people in the Seven swords because the was the stepping stones to a relationship. "Oh, and not that it matters, but what the hell is up with your smug grin? Did you get laid or some s**t?" Melonie whipped a cigarette from her pocket and lit it, squinting at D through the hazy smoke she released from her mouth.

D narrowed his eyes at her, standing up and walking over to the sword on the wall, running his fingers down it. "God damn it. You'd think if people were strong enough to get these things then they wouldn't keep dropping like flies." He sighed and turned to face her. "That Kiba chick is still somewhere back in Kiri, last I heard she was doing missions for the Mizukage." His grin then grew even further, darn near threatening to tear his jaw off at the mention of getting laid. "Something like that." Of course, he was never one to kiss and tell. So he waltzed on over to her and pointed to the cigarette. "You should really stop smoking. It's bad for your health. Now, what do we know about this crazy chick?"

Melonie amused herself with the idea of what D meant by 'something like that.' Technically what he'd be doing with those tendrils isn't exactly considered sex in anyway. "Don't worry about it. Just don't accept people for the swords." Melonie took a long drag from her cigarette and slowly released the thick white air from her lips.
She sat down in the mo inviting of manners. Her legs were spread and with that short skirt, things could easily be seen. Her arms were also resting on the arm rests. She wasn't intentionally trying to look like she was asking for it but from the way her body was gestured, it seemed screamingly obvious. She made no attempt at it though with D. She never actually found him and his quirks attractive in the slightest.
"Yeah, yeah. Bad for my health, now where have I heard that before?" Melonie pondered in the most sarcastic of ways before realizing that it was a common fact that D didn't actually need to tell her. "So it looks like you want to know more about that psycho b***h. Well, let's get this straight; she killed that one dude so she's probably no walk in the park to kill. It'd probably be best if you took someone with you, like your partner or something." Melonie took a puff before going on once more, "Some small island northeast of here. There's no inhabitants other then that chick and apparently that one dude who got killed there. I'd suggest getting her to spill why the two of them were together but you know, who gives a s**t?"
Melonie stood up and walked to the door. "If you're going alone then have fun. I got to meet back up with the partner." With that, Melonie unsealed the door and walked out before shutting it loudly behind her.

D looked over to Melonie as she sat down and spread her legs. He actually looked away this time. Usually he didn't bother. So something would probably obviously different about him. "Yeah, don't worry about it. I'll got get Ryumei and then we'll go take care of the problem. " He waved her off, dismissing the issue as nothing serious. He didn't like killing, but sometimes things just had to be done. Running his fingers down the flat end of the blade of their fallen comrade, he watched her leave. "See ya around, Melonie." He stayed for a little while longer before turning and leaving. He had places to go and people to see.
