Now all that remains of Hyrule is a large desert where the kingdom once stood, high and mighty, inhospitable, cursed by the forgotten legends of the four great hero's that share the same name, the same fate, and the same time. These legends lost through time and the ages as people discovered something far more interesting... Technology, machines, and eventually robotics.
With supplies running low, the people and creatures that had endured the many ages and trials that the 10,000 years had created, they built and moved to ten massive flying cities. They called these glorious new homes Havens. These Havens orbit around the ruins of Hyrule's castle, unknowingly. Each Haven has it's own unique environment, something to remind them of home, something to make each race feel comfortable.
A large forest to make the creatures of the woodlands like Deku's and the Kokiri children feel comfortable. Even a Great Deku Tree himself rests on this lush haven. The Haven was named Forest of the Kokiri, in honor of the Kokiri children. Populated with millions of trees and wildlife, everything a creature from the woods need and love.
New Zora Shrine, a Haven built like a giant sphere. Only the top has a wide opening, the inside? Nothing but water. A few floating chunks of rock, but the villages and buildings of the small groups of Zora's that managed to survive the hard times of being drowned by the sea. Nonetheless they held strong and were rewarded with the crystal clear water basin that is their home.
A Haven made purely to produce the food for all the other Havens the Romalon Farm is a large... Farm. Ranging two hundred miles in diameter the entire Haven is managed by a small village of farmers. Covered by a massive glass dome that protects the plants from the seasons. Air vents allow the exchange of air and gasses. The entire Haven is split into four quarters, the little ranching village sitting in the middle. One quarter of it is a large fish nursery, both with a large selection of salt and freshwater fish. The second quarter is a giant orchard that grows plenty of fruits, fruits that have grown and adapted to supply the people with plenty of food to survive the years. The next Quarter is a large vegetable garden, with a vegetable of every kind growing there. And the final and fourth quarter is a large pasture where many cattle, deer, and various animals bred for being consumed, are grown then guided to the village to be slaughtered. They don't usually allow people in, so as to keep diseases and other things of the type away from the only source of food for all of the Havens.
Death Hill, named after Death Mountain that used to exist in Hyrule. A large mini mountain built on one of the floating Havens. It serves as a large strong home for the surviving Goron's. Their mainly used as a Forge to smith weapons, armor, and other things like parts and machines. But Death Hill holds a dark and terrible secret that not many on the outside know about. They have made quite the alliance with The Iron Fortress Haven.
The Iron Fortress the smallest of the Havens, houses all criminals. The good, the bad, and the severely demented. Owned by a race of powerful amazon-like women, known as the Gerudo in ancient times. With thick steel walls and individual, single, prison cells and guards posted at every corner and nook. This fortress is unbreakable. Unlike the other Havens that fly high in the sky, this one glides down by the desert ground. The entire Haven is a massive tower that reaches from the hovering point on the ground to the highest Haven, the Roost of Eagles.
The highest flying Haven in the world, the Roost of Eagles is home to the species of Ruto, flying bird people. It's a giant metal and stone masterpiece held up in the skies by floating crystals and soars with the clouds. Flying high in the sky they tease a lot of the people who use Solar Sailors to get around. They use the scales from a now past dragon god known as the Great Valoo for flight. Though with the Great Valoo gone, the Ruto have precious few scales left. So soon the great an proud race of flying people will become grounded themselves. The Ruto store the scales away deep in their large nest and guard it with their lives.
Clockcity, built long ago in the kingdom of Termina, back then just a small village is now the largest of all the Havens. Although it may have forgotten, Clockcity has been through many trials and is now threatened by a new trial...
There are many more Havens scattered around, and all of them are threatened. They have forgotten the legends... The legends of Hyrule. SO they must be punished, so they weren't prepared when they were faced with a new dark king. Shattering the piece like a bunch of fallen china, a demon who had slipped from the past and arrived in the future tore apart peace and dooming the land in its wake. Pulling meteors from beyond the fabric of space Hyrule is once again threatened to be diminished... And there is no hope, for the legends are not know, no one knows about the hero who can save the day...
But one man knows...A man who slipped through time, a man who has seen it all, one man who met all four of the hero's. He knows of the legends, he knows of how to stop the evil that has spread to the future. And so with a flute he calls to them... To the ten people who share the same bloodline as the four hero's. The ten new people of legend.
Sending out a vision of their homelands destroyed, their people dead. And only a land of destruction, the man sends a single request in his vision:
Meet me, in front of the ruins of Hyrule Castle.
Only there can you save your homeland.
Once more.
Only there can you save your homeland.
Once more.
I am waiting
