History: Alaric was born to the very wealthy Salvatore family of Port Royal. He was given his first Pokemon at the age of 5, that Pokemon was a Kabuto that his father had bought from a scientist. the Kabuto and Alaric became fast friends and would always be seen training on the beach to become stronger. At the age of 7 a mysterious man came to his town, the man claimed to be a member of the elite 4, so Alaric decided to challenge him. The battle would have thought to have been an easy knockout in favor of the elite 4 member but his first Pokemon was knocked out against Alaric's Kabuto. The man yelled in anger as he then unleashed two Pokemon to gang up on Alaric. Kabuto however did not give up and when it was hit with a Grass Knot attack it enveloped in a bright white light. When that light cleared, it was revealed that Kabuto was now Kabutops. The elite 4 member fled the scene and it was later revealed that he was just a lowly trainer who had been impersonating the real member. Alaric's dad had watched the entire battle and decided he would reveal to his son that he was the town's Gym leader. His dad took him under his wing and at the age of 10 he had become an exceptionally well trainer using only his Kabutops. He decided he would head out on an adventure, his father bought him new clothing and gave him five pokeballs in order to capture Pokemon. He decided he wanted to collect all of the Gym badges so he made his way to the first Gym, easily defeating it with Kabutops. He did the same at the second and third ones as well. But when he challenged the fourth he was defeated by the Leader. She said he could challenge her the next day and so he did. But during that night whilst training with Kabutops a wild Krabby and Corphish attacked them. Recognizing them as water types like his dad had he attacked them with Kabutops. He made quick work of the two Pokemon, who were then both caught by Alaric with the pokeballs his dad had given him. He defeated the Gym leader the next day and on his way to fifth he trained with his two new Pokemon. he was attacked by a bunch of goons as soon as he entered Charmlet City. Instead of using Kabutops he launched Krabby who made a very good stand. Just as Alaric was about to be hit by a Hyper Beam Krabby jumped into the way, taking the hit and causing a dust cloud to cover the battlefield. When the cloud quickly dispersed a Kingler stood in Krabby's spot and all of the other Pokemon had been defeated. With his new Kingler and his Kabutops he made quick work of the fifth gym. Just as he was leaving he saw an extremely damaged Carvanha laying on the side of the road. It was revealed that that Carvanha was one of the goons' Pokemon that had just been released. Alaric rushed it to the Pokemon Center and it was healed in a day by Nurse Joy. The Carvanha was extremely grateful, so much in fact that it allowed Alaric to capture it.
Now with four Pokemon at his side he headed for the sixth gym, easily winning like the others he left the town and went to the seventh one. In this town he met a man that handed the boy two eggs, saying that Alaric had the true spirit of water and that these two Pokemon would eventually come when the time was right. Putting the eggs in a safe place in his bag he headed for the seventh gym, being that it was a grass type gym he thought it would be hard but his Pokemon had ice attacks which made quick work of the gym. He realized when he reached the eighth gym that this one was his father's and that he wouldn't go easy on him. The two entered the gym's signature double battle, his father sending out a Wailord and a Gyarados. Alaric took a risk and sent out his Corphish teamed up with his new Carvanha. The four Pokemon had an intense battle but it didn't last all that long. His dad's Wailord was the first to go and just when Gyarados was about to end it with a Hydro Pump Alaric's Pokemon enveloped in the bright light. Which as Alaric learned by now meant evolution, and sure enough when the light faded there was now a Crawdaunt and and Sharpedo in front of him. His father upon seeing this ended the battle and pronounced the battle over and Alaric the winner. He presented Alaric the Gym badge and with that he passed his title on to him. Revealing that his two Pokemon had evolved thanks to his torrent of courage. Alaric now at the age of 16 took the position, and in turn was given his dad's six Pokemon as well. The Blastoise, Kingdra, Feraligatr, Gyarados, Empoleon, and Wailord were sent to his newly attained PC system. His father stayed at the gym to become Alaric's teacher once more.
