___The top three floors of Hydraksis Tower in Boston are, and have always been, solely reserved for members of the Hydraksis family. Three floors of... well, it's not what one would really expect out of the owners of a major shipping and manufacturing company. The top floor is basically an over-grown greenhouse, where one can go to release themselves from the worries of the day and chill out as their true Lycan self, something Darius did often in the days before his death.

___The next floor is the actual living and sleeping areas, where the rooms are. Caedus has the eastern room. It's got simple decour, a side from the massive TV taking up almost an entire wall, but the appeal to his room is that the wall opposite his bed is a gigantic window, which he can watch the harbor and a good bit of the city from.

___The first floor of the pent house is the kitchen and the entertainment floor. By entertainment I mean Entertainment. It didn't matter what you were looking for it was usually there, and if it wasn't, Darius could have it there in a day at the most. Whether it was the social get togethers Darius threw for his competitors or Caedus' obsession with Xbox in his youth, it didn't matter. One day in there and you'd be happy, or at least distracted. This was also the area where Caedus was worked to the bone to become a fighter in both the way of the sword and the way of the fang. Darius left nothing to chance when it came to his son, who he felt would be the one to bring the Hydraksis back to their warrior ways, when the world finally destroyed itself.

___The city below continued to burn. The people below continued to scream and die. All were washed away in the flood of this thing, this virus. It was finally their time to die, Caedus thought to himself as he paced back and forth slowly in front of the massive window that made up the eastern wall of his room, a few wisps of black smoke making their way up to his sight every once in a while. He was dressed in simple jeans and a flannel shirt. Tonight wasn't a night for expensive suits, not when what had been his whole life was burning before him.
___He'd returned from the other side of the world only a few days ago, and in the few weeks he was there he'd discovered the side of his family his own clan had split away from dozens of generations ago. They'd...intrigued him. They hadn't behaved as he'd expected, but then what had he been expecting in the first place? He'd always been told that Lycans like him and his father had been living an unorthodox life style for their kind since the split from the pack, and thinking on it, it was a wonder that Caedus had been met with looks of wonder, instead of the ends of blades. "The last heir of the Hydraksis clan. The title and name must still carry impact with them." He muttered before he went to the wall to grab his custom made Katana. One taste and it's all over. You'll want, no, you'll need more of it to survive. They live every day how we have not once lived in over a hundred years. "This human world is over anyway. What have I left to lose?" The glass was gone then, shattered into thousands of tiny pieces. Caedus had leapt, leapt into a world he did not quite understand, but knew it's where he belonged.
