Aki is incredibly shy, and can not get through a single sentence without stuttering at least once. She is timid, and afraid of lots of things such as loud noises and bugs. Because of this she doesn't make friends easily, due to the fact that she is too shy to really talk to someone and get to know them. However, if one got close to her, they would find that she is incredibly sweet and kind, always putting the needs of others before herself. Also, the more comfortable she is with someone, the less often she will stutter. She has always been depressed over the loss of her mother, and is terrified of her father, due to the way he abuses her.
Despite her worries though, she still attends Karakura High School. She wants to become a children's doctor, so that she can help kids feel better when they are sick. When she isn't working on homework or school projects, she usually bakes things. Her favorite things to make are sweets, such as chocolate chip cookies and brownies, but she is good at other things as well. She also has a love of music, and has always wanted to learn how to play piano or guitar, but never had the money to but one or get lessons.
Even though she is young, she has a part time job at a restaurant in Karakura Town for extra money to pay the bills, since her father doesn't. She usually works as a waitress or mans the cash register, though sometimes the manager gives her permission to bake things for the customers. She plans to save up enough money to send herself to college, though in the long run she wants enough money so that she can leave her father's house forever, and start a new life. She is very protective of her closest friend, Tsukiya Shiba, and would gladly do anything to make him happy.

Aki was born into a fairly normal family. She had no other siblings, and for the first six years of her life it was just her, her mom, and her dad. However, when she was about seven years old, her mother was diagnosed with cancer and died later that year. Her father, who instead of moving on, blamed Aki, became violent towards her. He lost his job, became an alcoholic, and pretty much checked out of life, ignoring his child. That was of course, unless he went through a mood swing or a particular phase of anger, where he would beat Aki until he felt better. Not knowing what else to do, Aki continued to go to school, and had to start to take care of herself.
She discovered her powers when she was eight, after she had used them to heal the wounds that her father had given her. The medium that she used to call upon her powers came from a necklace that her mother had given her before she died. Upon realizing that she had special abilities, she tried to train, but it seemed that the powers would not come back to her. Still she tried, until she figured out how to unlock powers and use them when she wanted to, although she kept her abilities a secret, not wanting anyone to judge her.
Around the time she was ten, she say a boy sitting alone during the school's break time, and went to go talk to him. He was strange looking, since she had never seen a boy with green hair, but nevertheless, she sat down next to him and talked to him. She found out that his name was Tsukiya Shiba, and managed to become friends with him after their meeting.
When she became old enough to start working, she found a job for a Cafe, and was hired. She now works there as either a cashier, waitress, or baker, as it depends on the day of the week. She also currently attends Karakura High School as a Junior, and is doing quite well in school.

Aki is able to create and shape different colored crystals into different objects with ease. She can also make shields rise up to protect her or her allies. The hardness and sharpness of crystals make them natural weapons. However, they can be broken fairly easily by a strong opponent, either by forcing reiatsu into them, or simply shattering them with a strong melee move.
Fullbring Techniques:
Crystal Prison
Crystal Prison is a technique where Aki completely encases her opponents in crystal. When the crystal is shattered, the bodies of the victims disintegrate along with the crystal particles. Since she doesn't believe in harming a living person though, she would most likely only use this on Hollows. However, if she did decide to use it on a living being, this can be negated if the enemy increases their reiatsu around them, or forms a "cocoon" around their body. They will still be encased in the crystal, but when it shatters, their bodies will not be harmed.
Crystal Blade
The crystal blade is one of the many melee weapons Aki can create from her crystal element. It is an arm blade which is attached to her forearm. It is stronger and more durable than the other weapons made from her crystal manipulation, making it more on par with a real sword. However, this too can be broken if her opponents attack is strong enough.
Crystal Staff
A spear like object that is made entirely out of crystals. This is the weapon that she usually chooses, since she can defend herself well against her enemies, yet sending attacks at them would not be deadly. The only sharp part is the tip, which looks like that of a spear. Since this is the weapon she is most used to, it is incredibly hard to shatter.
