Current Mizukage: Beatriz Ukyo The Kirigakure Administration Building is the location of the administration offices of Kirigakure and the Water Country, and the most important office is that of the Mizukage. The top floor of this 4 story building is the floor where the Mizukage's office is located, however it is split into two sections, the lobby where everyone waits to see the Mizukage and the Mizukage's office itself. The door to the Mizukage's office has had at the great expense of one of the Mizukage's closest friends to be bound with such a powerful Fuuinjutsu barrier that only an extremely powerful Fuuinjutsu master has the knowledge of seals required to break it. This barrier makes sure that no being can get into the office against the will of the Mizukage, and instantly dispels and form of concealment or disguise once anyone touches it or goes through the invisible barrier. Also, the barrier stops anyone apart from the Mizukage and her personal bodyguard from using chakra in any form while inside the office. This is also the only place where any Kirigakure Shinobi can apply for missions from the Mizukage and is also the only place where they can receive their rewards for completing it.

Beatriz evaluated her situation very carefully for she knew there were many things in the village that she still needed to take care of. For starters she needed to figure out whether or not she'd be able to handle sending off her powerful Sannin warrior to the Mizu Tower in order to investigate. She didn't want to send him alone. As a result, she might just have to make a deal with one of the seven swordsmen of the mist. "When he comes into the office I'll need to make a decision. No matter, I'm sure things will work out. I need to get a hold of D though. I can't send my only Sannin there alone." Beatriz adjusted her glasses and glanced over her paperwork. She couldn't exactly think with the tower looming over her like so.

▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓ Today's Weather Is Cold Temperatures "You called?" Gin entered the room with little ceremony or formality, opening up a letter he had already read several times. It contained a summons to the office and a little bit of info on a mission. Apparently it involved the tower that had appeared recently. "What can I do for the great Mizukage Beatriz today? Some recon, fighting, or something else perhaps?" He wasn't concerned with the assignment. Could he die? Possibly. Would it happen? Not very likely, especially if she had a partner go with him. With A One Hundred Percent Chance Of Freezing. ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓

Beatriz sighed, slightly reluctant to tell Gin that he would actually be partnered with a rogue swordsman on this mission to the odd tower in the distance. "Well, as you know the seven swordsmen of the mist are like, well, rogues. Some are willing for villages at a price." Beatriz paused, allowing Gin to figure out what was going on before she had to say it. You're going to be working with D, the samehada wielder to investigate the ruins. Your objective is only to investigate. An ANBU sensor stated earlier that all the people residing in the tower have left the island for one reason or another. I simply want you to go and find out a few things, like what kind of people are living there and anything else you may find." Beatriz turned to the door and snapped her fingers, "Come in now D."

Gin had to laugh at himself, chuckling quietly. Whatever this mission was, it was sure to be dangerous if it required one of these guys. Without another thought, Gin left the room, following D and heading for the Gate. (Exit) With A One Hundred Percent Chance Of Freezing. ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓

Samehada was resting against the wall next to him and he had some form of trinket or doodad in his hands, tinkering with it to learn the secrets of his inner workings. Once he was called by the lovely Mizukage, he put the trinket and his trusty screwdriver away and hoisted Samehada back onto his back. It wriggled with glee at being reunited with it's master once more and D swaggered on into the office with a smile plastered on his face. " Hello, sweety~" He chimed happily before looking at the man in the room and then back to the Mizukage. " So what can I do for you today?"

Beatriz nodded to D, refusing to allow herself to get annoyed by that 'sweetie' comment. She then pointed to Gin and continued, "Meet Gin. You two are to go to the ruins and do a brief investigation. I want you to find out a few things for me while you're there such as who created ruins or tower... Whatever you want to call it. I also want you to bring back an estimate of the type of power we're dealing with. Don't get in a fight. If you do, then I'll have to inflict some serious punishment." Beatriz pulled out her baton and whipped her hand tightly with it like some teacher threatening her students with a rod. She then turned to D with a slightly sharp look in her eyes. "Don't misbehave or you won't get paid okay dear?" She didn't really trust him even at this point. A rogue was a rogue regardless of how she looked at it. "Any questions? If no then please go inform the ANBU at the entrance that you'll be leaving then just move out. Don't get caught either."

Nodding every now and then before his facial expression changed suddenly. He seemed to be almost insulted by the insinuation that he would start a fight. " Violence? No! Of course no violence. Not while I'm around. Not today, not ever!" He stopped himself mid rant and coughed awkwardly. " ....Sorry." Deciding that moving on before she had a chance to yell at him again was a good idea. He turned and clapped Gin on the shoulder. Gently though, in a friendly manner. " Excellent! Right then. Come along, Gin. We have an adventure ahead of us!" He then turned towards the door and swaggered off out of it. Going through the wrong door on the way out before being directed to the right door so he could actually leave. [Exit]

______Gizelle danced through the lobby of the Mizukage's building eager to finally receive her headband. It'd been such a long time since she was actually nervous. She heard that the Mizukage was a rather strict woman. That happened to be something Gizelle wasn't looking forward to at all. "Sasha I hope everything turns out okay. I don't really want any drama with the Mizukage." Sasha, Gizelle's faithful Inuzuka companion, shook her head in a comforting manner. "You're going to be fine. Nothing to fear at all! We're already here anyways so if anyone should be nervous it should be me. I mean, I'm like a pet to some people." Sasha peered to the closed door of the Mizukage's office and then turned to Gizelle who seemed uncomfortable. "Well, whenever you're ready."
______Gizelle nodded and approached the door. She knocked on it quietly at first but decided to follow up the knock with a sentence. "I-It's Gizelle, a new Genin here in Kirigakure." Gizelle turned to Sasha who nodded as though to say 'You're doing good.'

Beatriz turned to the door, pressing her glasses upward so they wouldn't slide off her face. They'd been custom made so naturally she couldn't afford to simply get new ones. Well, not at a time like this anyways.
It was at this moment she heard a knock coming from behind the door followed by the voice of an uneasy female. "Come in." Beatriz wasn't sure who was at the door right now for all her well equipped Shinobi were busy at the Mizu tower. Whoever it was probably wasn't all too well-known to Beatriz. Then again, the girl did say she was a new Genin.

______When she was told to come in, Gizelle turned to Sasha who merely nodded in return. "Be quick, I don't want to wait in the lobby all day." Gizelle giggled quietly before pressing the door open and walking inside to see an elegant yet firm looking woman. "Hello." Gizelle bowed before continuing her sentence. "May I have a headband? I'm a new Genin by the name of Gizelle. I've lived in Kirigakure all my life but it wasn't until recently that I decided to put my clan title to good use." Gizelle broke her stare from the Mizukage and looked elsewhere in the room to avoid feeling too uncomfortable though maintaining eye-contact probably would've eased her a little.

Beatriz pulled open her drawer and quietly pulled a headband from it so that she could give it to Gizelle who was obviously asking for one. Beatriz wanted to quiz the girl to make sure she was worthy but that sort of sounded like a childish thing to do, especially when she'd already proved herself in the Academy. "Well, here you go. I hope this fits you nicely." Beatriz straightened up her glasses before looking downwards towards her paperwork. She had a lot to get done today and could only spend oh so much time handling the new Genin. "If you don't have anything else then I guess I should say congratulations and have a nice day." Beatriz smiled before turning back to her work in front of her.

As Gizelle said this, she firmly tied the headband around her forehead before walking out of the building with her partner Sasha. Their next stop would be the Academy!

______Gizelle stumbled into the Mizukage's office, nearly falling but catching herself before it was too late. "S-So sorry! I wasn't aware of the stump in the doorway. So uh, anyways, could I ask you a question? I was wondering if you know where everyone is. I mean I haven't seen that Sannin dude in awhile." Gizelle crossed her arms and decided to wait patiently. Things were probably going to be a bit more interesting from here on out. After all, Gizelle was finally a Jounin and knew as much as she could at this point so she'd probably be a big help to someone out there.
