Guild Guide

This guide will help you to understand the rules of the guild and your limitations at your rank and how to advance. This will also help you understand Chain of Command and reductions. Reductions will also be listed under the specific category.

Basic Start to RP

• The villages are considered a military based structure. If you do something considered stupid or pick a fight with superiors you can, and most likely will, be killed. Follow protocol.
• Make sure you read the Guild attribute system in the other topic. It will help you understand the balancing features our Guild provides.
• Okay, now you are probably going to want to create a character we assume, so this is where you need to go. Fill out the application and follow the examples. A moderator will get to you shortly.
• Once you have chosen your class and the basic kind of character you want, please write that you are going to be a Genin. If you wish to be a higher rank, please PM the Kage of the village you wish to join. If he/she approves you for higher rank, list their vouche and apply for a higher rank in your profile.
• After all this has been done, you will probably want to check out the Kekkei Genkai section and select a bloodline to apply for. Later on, we will be accepting Demon, Curse Mark, and Summoning applications but for now they are closed.
• If you wish to make a Custom for anything please go to the Custom application forum and find the topic that addresses what you want. We will be reviewing it so it is not overpowered but we do encourage creativity.
• PLEASE apply for everything before expecting to be accepted for a profile. We will be checking if your Kekkei Genkai's and Clans are approved along with anything else that needs approval.
• Once you have finished getting accepted and have all your classes down, please submit a profile application. If you wish to submit a profile application before you are finished, type Incomplete in the topic and edit it later when you wish it to be reviewed.
• When you are accepted for the village and guild PLEASE submit your profile into the Accepted Profile section and in the profile section for your village.
• Now you are done! Have fun RP'ing!

Guild General Rules

• No canon characters. (Absolutely NO Deidara look alikes, sorry ladies)
• No godmodding.
• No auto-hitting.
• No auto-knowing.
• No metagaming.
• Implants must be acquired through the RP.
• Follow all other guides and systems within this topic.
• If your RPC dies, you must PM a crew, VC, or Captain so that we can put your profile in the graveyard.
• Everyone starts out as a Genin unless otherwise accepted by Kage's and mods.
• A one week inactivity will result in removal of demon/curse/position/sword etc. Unless you post your hiatus in advance.
• If you do not post within 3 days of posting with someone else in a fight, there next attack is a hit because you were gone without telling them before-hand. If you had a death in the family occur or anything serious happen, let us know and we can see what we can do for you.
• All flickering and substituting require a hand-sign. And you cannot substitute or flicker if you are unable to move.
• Obey all moderators in this guild. We are the law.
• This is a literate Naruto RP.
• This guild uses past tense third-person perspective.
• Stay within Gaia's T.O.S.
• Stay within the profile format, and rules.
• Make sure you get accepted for your profile, demon, curse, sword, customs, bloodline and etc.
• Each RPC is allowed to have one summon only.
• Hosts that are killed, they lose the demon/curse/etc. The demon is not set on a rampage, it is contained and given to a new RPC in time.
• If a person does not have permission to use a image that a user has stated is their own works...That image will be removed by the crew. Guilds can be shut down for this.
• Everyone is REQUIRED to do linking to your posts for training otherwise you will not be allowed to use the ability.

If you are found to be doinging any of the listed below you character will be pimpslapped by the okages, and depending on the sevarity of the infraction enjoy a nice long ban...

Aimbotters: The people who never miss a single shot no matter how hard it is.
Min-Maxers: The people who 'balance' their characters by having a massive but irrelevant weakness and massive powers.
Miss Cleos: The people who use Out Of Character knowledge to get an edge.
McFlys: The people who do things in hindsight.
PuppetMasters: The people who RP other people's characters for them.
DayDreamers: The people who RP completely irrelevant things.
Shoe Elves: The people who RP actions and time against others while the others aren't present.
Revisionists: The people who ignore or alter RP's that they don't like.
SpeedHackers: The people who RP an absurdly time consuming sequence occurring between other people's actions.
Oxymoron's: The people who play as characters whom are completely impossible.
Baghdad Bobbitt's: The people who arbitrarily declare themselves the winner with instant death attacks.
Gaseous Snakes: The people who've taken actions before they start RPing.
Zoicites: The people who alter their character as needed for the situation.
Trinities: The people who gain abilities as they need them with no prior exposure.
Quakers: The people who pick-up things that spawn from seemingly nowhere.
Munchers: The people who assume an opponents reaction instead of waiting for a response.
Ghosts: The people who can see/walk through walls because they don't pay attention to where they are.

Basic Fighting Rules

• Just because you have a sharingan, that does not mean you can dodge everything. Especially if your opponent is two or more ranks above you.
• A sharingan can't see through every Genjutsu.
• Stick to the "Honor Code". In other words, you can block and dodge as long as its not to the point of godmodding, and they also can let themselves be hit.
•A person can make a max of two offensive moves per post. Defensive is different. Learn the difference.
• Puppets and clones may make a max of one offensive move per post, per puppet/clone.

• Only a Kage, or teacher may rank a person up.
• A teacher may only rank a person up to chuunin.

____________________________________________________________________________________

Ranking Tree

Academy Student
..Training, Childish, Noisy..
As a young academy student, you will be taught the needed lessons to become a genin. You will be assigned to a class and in that class, you will have a teacher that will give you lessons and techniques to be able to advance onto the next rank. As an Academy Student, you will be able to choose your main weapon, how to use a kunai, a shuriken, and of course your weapon. Also, many many more that will prepare you for your life as a Genin.

Genin
..Reckless, Bright, Strong..
You have finally graduated from the Shinobi Academy! You are now a Genin. You are assigned to a squad, with a sensei. Your sensei will be like your teacher, but they will most likely spend time with the squad instead of a 'class'. As a genin, you will learn further techniques and jutsu that you will use later on it battle. You will be able to attend missions. Some missions can be outside, which most genin look forward to, and some are inside the village, which are mostly clean up work and similar like thing. Also, as a genin, you will be looking forward to the Chuunin Exams. The Chuunin exams are the part of the genin's life when you are to show off your skills, but wisely instead of randomly and recklessly. This will determine whether or not you deserve the rank of Chuunin!

Chuunin
..Intelligence, Fierce, Powerful..
Passed the Chuunin Exams? Great!! But now, you have more obstacles ahead of you. As a Chuunin, you will be able to learn more powerful jutsu, train yourself, aid allied villages, sent on a rescue team, be assigned at squad to train genin, and such. Even though it is a Jounin's job to train their genin, sometimes Jounin will be busy, and a Chuunin will be replaced for the day or until their Jounin comes back. Sometimes, a superior would order you to take lead of a squad so that the Chuunin would get a feel on how to be a Jounin. To get promoted, the kage or village leader must either give you a test, or just simply promote you to a Jounin.

Jounin
..Sensei, Stealthy, Expert..
You've been promoted to Jounin! Jounin will become sensei and be assigned in a squad. It is a Jounin's duty to protect his or her genin and teach them the needed skills to become a great shinobi. Also, you must always remember to spend time with them. Genin will listen to you more, and treat you with better respect when they have fun with you. Being Jounin does not mean being able to master many jutsu, but to also help out others and to have fun. Also, you will be going out into secret missions, which will be the reasons why you will not be found in the village, and the reasons why Chuunin replace you temporarily.

Oinin
..Dangerous, Deadly, Silent..
Oinin Or Also known As hunter Nin and thats certainly what they do Sent to go in for the kill fast and powerful stopping at nothing to kill there target but not leaving An signs of the body remaining. The body they have killed is completely Disposed off, they are sometimes Called Tracking nin and can always find there target pretty much making them hard to fight or get away from. but being able to track an opponent means you also know how to get away from an opponent and how to cover your own tracks. these nin also wear masks but of a different Type.

Special Jounin
..Teacher, Skillful, Quick..
Special Jounin, due to their prior training in ANBU, these are ninjas who have gained high Jounin-level skills in one area of ninja arts. These are ninja like Morino Ibiki, who is highly skilled at interrogation and torture. Ninja attain the rank of Special Jounin through official appointment.

ANBU
..Ansatsu Senjutsu Tokushu Butai..
ANBU, short for Ansatsu Senjutsu Tokushu Butai is a Shinobi Position based on assassination and stealth missions. These shinobi are working directly under the kage. They wear masks that are based around zodiac signs.

Sannin
..Master, Wanderer, Mighty..
Sannin the second top rank. It is mostly shinobi that have very very great potential and have shown skill to impress the kage. At Sannin, your skills are at kage level, some are even stronger than kage. When you are a sannin, you do not have to wear a shinobi headband. You are able to leave the village whenever you want, and wander around everywhere. Though, Sannin rankers mostly go to allied villages or neutral villages, since they do not want to start feuds in enemy villages. Some Sannin rankers also stay in the village and help the kage when needed. Keep it up, stay in your village, and maybe you are able to advance your rank.. As a kage!

ANBU Commander
..Commander, ANBU, Strategist..
ANBU are under direct control of their Kage. They protect the village from exceptional threats, conduct high-risk missions into enemy countries, and deal with extremely strong ninja. They are also responsible for carrying out assassinations, tracking, surveillance, and missions requiring specially trained ninja. And in order to carry out these missions successfully, the ANBU have a captain to lead the mission.

Kage/S-Class
..Jack of all Trades, Leader, Most powerful of all..
You have finally reached the kage level. At kage, you are considered the strongest in the country. You, as the kage, are the leading person of your village and or country. There are many work to do, organizing papers, enemies, making treaties, and such. Kage does not usually participate in missions, but they may, usually in missions that are S ranked. As the kage, it is your duty to protect the village, the people, and the shinobi in it. Not a single kage must leave their village, or you will shall be considered a traitor, and be hunt down by numerous ninja to stop you. Kage plays an important role in the shinobi role, be glad that you have earned the title. Honor your village, be proud of your shinobi, and protect the citizens. Live as a kage. Die as a kage.

Training Outline
To Learn!

Note: All post most be at least 3 or more Sentences for it to be considered a post (We love more btw).

If you are a Genin, you cannot learn any Jutsus above B rank and cannot go past stage 4 in Taijutsu or Kenjutsu styles.
Chunnin cannot learn above A rank or past stage five of Taijutsu and Kenjutsu styles, but are now well versed enough to teach themselves.
Jounin cannot learn above S rank techniques but can learn all stages in Taijutsu and Kenjutsu.
Konin can learn S+ rank jutsu but for 1.5x the original post amount.
Saanin and above can learn all ranks of jutsu.

If you are instructed by someone of a higher rank than you, or they are competent in that specific technique, you receive a -1 learning reduction.
Same rank people cannot count as teachers unless they have said technique.
One rank higher must have a scroll to fluidly show you.
Two ranks (or more) higher can teach you without a scroll.
O-kage teaching gets a -2 to teaching and can teach without a scroll

If you have continuation abilities (the requirements) you can combine them into the same post counts.
Ex: You are learning jutsus that one requires the other. One is B rank one is A rank. You can combine them into the same amount of posts only needed to A rank but you would list both jutsu on your list.

THE ONLY POSSIBLE WAYS TO AUTO LEARN:
- You are accepted for an auto rank.
- You completely by pass a rank before your Kage ranks you up, you may auto learn the max of that ranks abilities.

When training in certain facilities, you are capable of learning things faster due to materials, teachers, or learning guildes along the way. Kenjutsu and Taijutsu receive training reduction, while all other arts receive reductions in the academy or university. Reductions are based on rank, as well as class of your character. Your dojo/academy reductions do add up with your already posted class reductions.

Linking To Training
For Clarification To All

As you all probably know, noone is perfect. The mods at Forgotten Nindo are no different, this can, however, lead to problems about certain techniques and training.
There are many techniques that have to be learned in order to soup up your shinobi, and because of this, there are many times where you have to take the time to train abilities.
This is just a simple way for you to add a link into your profile in order to prove to us that you have learned a technique

Also, we do realize it may be a bit much to do this with every single technique, so we request you do this, at the very least, for most techniques over the rank of C
Thank you very much for your cooperation

Step 1
Training- Plain and simple. Learn your technique

Step 2
Link Copy- Go to the original post of your training of a technique. Using your mouse hover over the address bar and highlight the address of the page. Whence every little bit has been highlighted, right-click copy ((or hold ctrl and press 'c'))

Step 3
Knowledge- Go back to your profile. After you have learned your technique, add it to the technique list in the appropriate location

Step 4
Link- Right after the technique name, add a space and type

This is the start of the link format installed by gaia
Directly after the = sign, right-click paste ((or hold ctrl and press 'v')) the address of the training page
This generates the actual link to the page of your training
Directly after the address has been copied, press the ']' key
Directly after the address has been capped, type '-' ((or any other single keystroke doodad))
This generates the click to link icon
Directly after the icon, type

This officially closes the link, making your code valid
Step 5
Does it work?-
Once you have done all of this, press the preview button and locate the icon you have just installed. Click it, does it take you to the page it should?
If it does not, please try using the steps again
If it does not work a third time, please contact a Crew member

Battle Chakra System

1. Our guild will be using a system that revolves around a number that is dictated by your [ class ].
This number is kept under the section in your profile labeled [ Chakra Pool ].
It is also a number which can be increased with various [ training missions ].
However, said missions can only be accessed by meeting certain requirements-
the most common of these requirements being [ shinobi rank ].

2. Every [ shinobi class ] has various [ steps ] which are labeled with certain ranks.
The easiest example of this would be for you to look to the [ class listing ] and simply examine the first class you see.
As you can plainly see, each class has breaking points which are split by the rankings:

• Genin
• Chuunin
• Jounin
• Konin
• Sannin
• Kage

Each of those sects is considered a [ step ].

As you can also see, the very first step- Genin -contains a section labeled [ Chakra Pool ]
This section is then followed by a number, in the case of the Ninjutsu Class this number is [350].
As thus, if you decide to be of the Ninjutsu Class, your basic chakra pool is [350]

Now, this number becomes your base chakra pool, but does not necessarily have to be your maximum pool.
Based on training and other additives, this number can be increased to a certain point.

Training Missions are the most common and basic way of [ increasing ] one's own chakra pool.
These missions are free to anyone and everyone whence they have [ met the proper requirements ].
However, each Chakra Training Mission can only be [ completed once ] by the same person.
Simply meaning, the same shinobi cannot repeatedly complete a simple training mission to infinitely boost their chakra pool.
Additionally, unlike learning techniques, a training mission is not effected by post reduction methods such as the Dojo / Academy system.

The following list details the chakra cost of each type of jutsu found within our guild.
If you would also note, each increase in rank is a multiplication of two from the base technique number of ten.
This was done to further increase the simplicity of keeping track of your chakra.

The System

This is base chakra cost

E-5

D-10

C-20

B-40

A-80

S-160

S+-320

Regenerating Chakra

For every 3 posts you do not use a technique that requires chakra, your will regain 10 points of chakra. For every 7 posts you do not use a technique that requires chakra, you will regain 50 points back. For every 10 posts you do not use a technique that requires chakra, 100 points of chakra will be regained.

Chakra Control

Chakra control is a way of making your techniques more efficient, thus costing less. for every rank you go up, you can perform a certain number of posts of training to recieve a subtraction bonus to your chakra cost for jutsu. The minimum cost for any jutsu is 5 chakra. They do not stack.

Maximum chakra control by rank
Gennin: -5 (Requires 2 posts)
Chuunin -10 (Requires 3 posts)
Jonin -20 (Requires 5 posts)
Konin -30 (Requires 7 posts)
Sannin -40 (Requires 9 posts)
Kage -50 (Requires 10 posts)

_-_-_Advancement System
-_-_-_-Acquiring Advancement Credit.

Advancement Credit, or AC, are points that can be accumulated through battles and completed missions in order to "level up" your roleplay character. The other method to level up your character would be the Chuunin Examinations, but because these are not always active or present, the AC System was developed to prevent ninja from being labeled Genin, but having the experience of a Jounin.

-_-_-_-_-[ Level Up Markers ]
When you reach the number indicated, and you have proven via the Mission Catalog that you have that number of credits, your roleplay character is allowed to step up to that rank. You must go to your village leader and ask for one final task before achieving a new rank.
It should be noted that these numbers are not caps. A Chuunin could have 10,000 credits without ranking up, if he so chose to.
AC does not decrease after ranking up.

Quote:
Advancement Qualifications:
• Chuunin: 2,550 credits.
• Jounin: 7,550 credits.
○ ANBU/Oinin: 10,500 credits.
• Konin: 50,550 credits.
○ ANBU/Oinin Captain: 65,550 credits.
• Sannin: 100,550 credits.
• Kage: 200,000

-_-_-_-_-[ Mission Credits ]
For each mission you complete, and after you have cataloged this completion, you receive a certain number of AC. This number is determined by the rank of the mission, and is listed in the chart below.

Quote:
Mission AC Rewards:
• D-Rank: 250 credits.
• C-Rank: 500 credits.
• B-Rank: 1000 credits.
• A-Rank: 2,000 credits.
• S-Rank: 4,000 credits.

-_-_-_-_-[ Fight Credits ]
Whenever you battle with someone, whether you win or lose, you are still training yourself in some way. The chart below shows how much AC you are able to obtain by fighting; separated by rank (who you fight) and win or lose (victory or defeat).
Quote:

Battle AC Rewards:

(W = Win. L = Lose.)
• Genin: W-250 credits. ▬ L-100 credits.
• Chuunin: W-500 credits. ▬ L-200 credits.
• Jounin: W-1000 credits. ▬ L-350 credits.
• Konin: W-1500 credits. ▬ L-500 credits.
• Sannin: W-2500 credits. ▬ L-1,000 credits.
• Kage: W-4000 credits. ▬ L-1,500 credits.

-_-_-_-_-[ Spar Credits ]
As one would expect, when you are truly fighting someone- life or death –you are obviously getting more out of the experience. As thus, whenever you obtain credit from sparring with someone, you will receive a different experience, and a different amount of AC. The chart below lists the amount of AC you earn for sparring with ninja of a certain rank.
• Note: Ninja who are two stages above a certain rank, cannot get AC from sparring with weaker ninja.
(Ex. A Jounin will not be rewarded AC when sparring with a Genin.)

Quote:
Spar AC Rewards:
• Genin: 150 credits.
• Chuunin: 250 credits.
• Jounin: 500 credits.
• Konin: 700 credits.
• Sannin: 1,200 credits.
• Kage: 1,500 credits.

_-_-_Money System
-_-_-_-Acquiring Ryo.

Ryo (両), the currency system that stretches across the Naruto Universe, is just that; a simple and common form of money. A single Ryo coin is an extremely thin and small flat of gold.
Ryo will be rewarded to those ninja who complete missions. The amount of Ryo one obtains depends on the rank of the mission, and will be listed below in a simple chart.

The Land of waves is a quaint little hot spot▬ it is where ninja are able to spend their hard earned Ryo. All sorts of items can be purchased from this merchant area, weapons, books, pets, etc., it is merely a matter of finding something that catches your eye.

Quote:
Mission Ryo Rewards:
___ • D-Rank: 110 Ryo.
___ • C-Rank: 220 Ryo.
___ • B-Rank: 440 Ryo.
___ • A-Rank: 880 Ryo.
___ • S-Rank: 1,700 Ryo.
