A rather large room with the usual soul society construction and designs is seen, the room is tall, long and very roomy as one desk is off at the end of the room.
The entire left side of the chamber is missing a wall and reveals a stunning sight of the Seireitei, the blue sky and the rukongai in the distance, this is a big room.
Uses: Captains meetings, living quarters for Head Captain, & other uses
it seems like it is an all perpose room.

Shinseina Hiragana
Flame of The Sea.
If you dare touch my flames,
I shall burn you alive with it, no one shall mess with the ones I care for the most . .
Hiragana knock on the head captains door but it seem that no one was there. He look down the hallway from where he stand and slowly open the door and walk in. And place the Fifth Squad paper work on the side of his desk where most of the paper goes he thinks.
He Exit the office and in hope to see Shingotsu around here but yet he heard Jasmine thoughts saying where she was and that he needs his help with something? Hiragana let out a little sigh and flash step out of there hoping that the head captain would find the paper work for Fifth Squad.

Shadow of the Wind   In times of war and strife...
Those with power are called to use it. Rei watched from outside the window as Hiragana appeared and left paperwork for Head Captain Shingaara. When the spirit had gone, Rei sighed and crawled back in, tapping the handle end of his sheath to release Shingotsu. She looked quite flustered and angry that she had been kept from the one who held her interest. "You suck Rei... I wanted to talk to Hiragana!" He shrugged and organized the paperwork put onto Gato's desk on top of the other bit's of paper already lined there. "Too bad. You need to stay and help me do work for the head captain." All he got was a rude gesture and a gust of wind as Shingotsu went to go relax, most likely on the roof or outside. Maybe even to go find Hiragana and Jasmine.
This left the man alone in Gato's office. Alone with his thoughts and his doubts. Leaning back, he let himself relax and rest against Gato's desk. Two hundred years. Two hundred years and the nightmares still will not pass... Rei was supposed to be doing a week's worth of back paperwork after a short tour of duty in Karakura town... but he was still plagued by his past. His fingers ran across the scar that covered his left eye, letting close at his touch. He had talked with the head captain during their regular training sessions before... but still, guilt and doubt persist. Two hundred years is a long time for a scar to heal, but to a spirit, two hundred years could pass as though the blink of an eye. And so it was that Rei's scar remained 'fresh'. Musing to himself, Rei could barely hold back a chuckle of sorrow. "So it is said that when a scar is deep with emotion, it will never heal. I wonder how long it will take for mine to dull... or will it ever?" He drifted off near the end, losing his ability to focus on much of anything. He would likely be like this until Gato or someone else entered.
But what do we do when our duty makes us murderers?
What do we do, when the world makes us demons?

~Ayumi~ Down the hall near the office door were voices, one in particular was Shingaara who was handling business with something of his while arriving from squad four where he spoke with the captain there. Opening the door was one of his assistants who led in quite a few other soul reapers of squad one who helped him with things, most of them smart bookworm looking people.
Floating in on his hovering char his glaring eyes looking to his assistant girl as he rubbed his head, the ears swiveling to the side, & robes neatly around him with his sword in his lap with a hand on it still. "Delaying her again? what more is there to do? She seems ready to me .. I've known her since the academy so her skills arent in question ... Lieutenant Rei .. " he said seeing his Lieutenant making his glaring eyes lifting slightly at the sight of Rei where he then looked to his assistants and helpers. "Begin your work" he ordered the others as they walked off to other parts of the large room near the walls where they got to work managing paperwork for Shingaara, some sitting on the floor. Float saw how silent Rei was so he went upto his desk and looked out to the Seireitei at the missing wall to the side of this large room.
"Something troubles you?" he asked calmly in his usual boss/royal like tone at his Lieutenant since he didnt see him training or bothering his Zanpakuto who liked to come on out. He was leaning forward in his chair looking at Rei with his ears swiveled forward and eyes normal and not glaring, the assistants nearby working on paperwork that was brought in. "Mittens, the Rukon districts are in need of new homes after-" called an assistant making Shingaara wave her down with his paw, the assistants calling him Mittens since they were his personal assistants and he allowed them to call him that. "I'll allow it .. keep directing issues on living conditions in the Rukon to me .. and for goodness sake .. someone get me the Recovery Officer to explain why Korogame is being delayed!" he said turning to the assistants while by his desk with Rei, handling business with his friend who was in recovery after injury during battle.
Turning to his Lieutenant he sat back in his floating chair and put his paws together seeming quite relaxed as his squad worked nearby the feline loving his chair that hovered there. "Now then .. how goes your business Rei? .. " asked Shingaara once more with his paws together with his claws out looking like fingers.

Those with power are called to use it. Rei watched as Gato entered the room and ordered everyone around. It always made him laugh to see a cat-sized Shinigami lead the Seireitei. And yet the authority he commanded was absolute. It inspired many things from many people, but mostly admiration. From Rei it was a desire to become stronger.
A moment or two later, and the two were more or less alone in Gato's office. "Shin's up on the roof sleeping, I think. And... yes... I suppose I am a bit bothered." He was remiss to speak on the subject so openly, on account of the fact that he wanted to keep knowledge of his involvement in the Quincy extermination campaign as limited as he could. And yet one with the authority could simply look back through records and find his name in the ranks of those enlisted to fight Quincies. A simple touch to the bottom of his scar settled the mind. "It's the nightmares again sir. They refuse to cease... no matter what I say or do to ease them. What do you do when you can hardly sleep, even when you have the time?" Rei's hands were starting to tremble as he remembered the nights he had spent at war, and all the atrocities he had committed. With a sigh, Rei's head lowered and his eyes closed. "Even worse, I fear that the reason my power is still unstable is because of a rift formed between Shingotsu and I when.. well during the campaign. I can't stand it... she and I are one in the same... I don't want there to be any dissonance between us. It feels like a hole in my very chest." His face was dark for a moment as he spoke... but it passed eventually.
A few minutes later, he plucked up the nerve to speak again. "Master... I don't suppose that once I have finished my work, you might help me train for a little while. It always helps when I practice with you. And hmmm... I think I feel Jasmine and Jisaku training together. Hehe... they didn't do much to hide their reiatsu, did they?" He was changing the subject, of course, and doing poorly at it. He hoped that Gato would let it be for now, and acquiesce to his request to train.
Shingotsu, up on the roof, was indeed not far from the window, and heard everything Rei said. Alas, it was true. The conflict had driven a wedge between them. Although it had healed over the years, it was still there, if only just. Baka-dono. No rift will keep us from getting stronger... and I would never resent you. I just worry about you... dumbass. She was frowning a bit now, but not too much. When Rei asked Gato to train with them, she perked right up. Finally, some action.
But what do we do when our duty makes us murderers?

~Ayumi~ With his paws together and people working here and there in this large room the feline head captain seemed to be thinking on Rei's problems and saw that he couldnt handle war at first glance. Sitting back in his chair the cat was relaxed as he thought about war and how he handled it and rubbed his head as a result, his ears swiveling back then flicking back to place. "War can do that to someone .. make demons we can only handle .. others ... they arent so forgiving with war .. for others war is life and the very sound of it relaxes them." he said in a slightly deepened tone as he kept thinking of Rei's problem and looked to him as he refused to let Rei in on what he did with his feelings of war and such. "If you have inner demons and a problem with yourself, it'll change when you do something about it ... somethings you have to learn on your own . just as long as you can live with yourself" he said trying to go to his level, not sure if this would help since Ayumi was his problem, defending friends and preventing death.
"As for training, I'm willing to give Kibayoshi some time to .. stretch" he said waving his hand approving the training as he let Rei deal with his problems, the feline here only to make him Captain material for later. The head captain sat back in his chair and let it hover off to the area where the wall was gone, the seireitei in full view where he looked out to it with his eyes glaring out to it.
Awaiting the small training session that will come up with Rei and him, wind vs wind with their Zanpakuto, Kibayoshi and Shingotsu quite strong but then again, worlds appart in levels.
'Never could understand the benefit of letting one's Zanpakuto out in the open ...' thought Shingaara...

Those with power are called to use it. When Gato spoke, Rei's head lifted a little and his face brightened. "Just as long as you can live with yourself, huh? Alright sir. And I'll have my paperwork done in an hour or so. Or if you'd like to let Kibayoshi have some exercise now, I can put it off until we're done sparring." It was obvious to anyone that Rei absolutely hated paperwork more than almost anything. And he was begging for an excuse to get his mind off of his past for the time being.
Shingotsu, in the interim, slipped in through the window that Gato was staring out of, barely missing his head with her foot. Landing next to Rei, she smiled and bowed to the cat apologetically. "Er... sorry bout that boss man. At least I didn't hit you! So... when do we get to fight? I love hearing Kibayoshi's voice... and I only get to when we fight. So let's spar already!" Rei simply facepalmed himself and sighed.
But what do we do when our duty makes us murderers?

~Ayumi~ With Shingotsu out in the open like a person he turned his chair where he hovered on over a little closer to the zanpakuto spirit with his eyes on her and leaning forward. "I could never understand the use of letting a Zanpakuto out of the sword .. even if alot of soul reapers preform that today .." he observed staring at Shingotsu as he then turned back to the sight of the soul society and kept staring as he put his hand on the sword and shut his eyes. "I suppose being old fasioned could be put aside today .. ... lets try to get Kibayoshi to come out again" muttered Shingaara as he entered the inner world to meet Kibayoshi, one of the five blades. To the rest of the peopele in squad one he'd be sitting there still as can be for a second trying to convince Kibayoshi to come on out, the feline trying the whole letting it out thing to see what good it does.
[Inner world]
Shingaara was sitting behind a being with white clothing and purple hair with large hands that was floating before a cliff overlooking endless water where she turned to Gato with a bored look. "I suppose coming out to say hello is out of the question?" asked Gato in a glaring look as Kibayoshi looked away and turned her back on him. "A proper Zanpakuto stays within the sword and knows its place" said Kibayoshi in a stern tone as she floated there with wind blowing now in this place, Gato looking down slightly then up again with his ears swiveling slightly forward.
"However, this is a new age .. I do think that our ways are dying .. giving it a try may proove odd but .. I'll never be used to being out there with other spirits and soul reapers though ... I still refuse to come out during a battle .." she said again as Gato looked to the side with amusement.
"Of course" said Gato calmly as they both exited the inner world.
[Exit inner world]
Gato simply turned around as Kibayoshi slowly appeared by his side with him glaring to the side and the wind spirit crossing her arms making a violent updraft sweep through the room making Gato's assistants hold down the paperwork. "Well then, Kurohime Shingotsu .. " said Kibayoshi calmly in a stern tone with her large hands tapping her arm as she crossed them over her chest slightly. "Easy Kibayoshi ... you two are here to socialize .. " said Gato with a wave of his hand as he floated off to the side facing back to the seireitei as Kibayoshi remained in one spot, very much in Bankai form close to all the time. "Its always good to see a cousin Zanpakuto spirit to me" said Kibayoshi being stuck in her ways of viewing herself as higher than other wind blades since she equals Yamamoto's fire blade but wind.
Expect the same reaction if Aji-Suki met another lightning blade.. thats why Gato was so iffy about letting these things out

Those with power are called to use it. Knowing what his mater was up to, Rei simply waited until he turned around as Kibayoshi formed until he spoke. It took only an instant outside... but who knows how long he had been in there? "I believe that the wind is the most absolute embodiment of freedom. Therefore a spirit of the wind would enjoy freedom, where they can feel the winds outside of their own domain. Am I mistaken, Kibayoshi? I'm sure that all the winds in your world sound the same, even to you. Out here, with everything else, all of the winds are different... like a symphony." He smiled as he spoke, letting himself get lost in his own idea for a moment. Shingotsu picked up for his lull in the conversation, responding respectfully to Kibayoshi. "Hello Kibayoshi-sama. It has been a while since we spoke. I hope Shingaara-san has been treating you well." For some reason whenever she spoke to Kibayoshi, Shingotsu always started using honorifics.
Honestly, the two were itching for another fight with their masters, respectively. Shingotsu knew she wasn't on the same level as Kibayoshi, but she was more refined than her. More precise. Rei had raw power, but he needed the precision to use it. Only experience would remedy the problems they had, and they wanted to get it quick.

Baraku appeared outside the first division Building and walked slowly towards it. The Guards had seen him coming and slowly stepped away. Baraku nodded to them and opened the doors into the building. When they closed behind him he walked down towards the Office of the Head Captain. The sound of his sandals tapping on the wooden florr as he walked echoed down the hallway. He stopped when he reached the office and then knocked gently on the door before Entering. He walked slowly in. " Sorry for the Intrusion but im hear to give you my weekly report on the defenses..so far everything in fine, we had a slight crack in the barrier surrounding the Seireitei but it was repaired straight away, the barrier should be fine for now." He said as he bowed to Rei and Captain Shingaraa. Baraku stood straight again and awaited for shingaraa to tell him to leave.

~Ayumi~ With Baraku entering Shingaara floated his chair over to him leaning forward in his chair with a look of his usual stern self mixed with calm after the news. "Captain Kuchiki .. the man I've been wanting to see .. I appreciate the report .." said Gato as Kibayoshi remained in her spot as she looked to gato then to Shingotsu where she kept still due to causing violent winds and updrafts when she moved.
"How wind is defined by freedom is quite close to how I see it .. but it is also a curse to me .. to me it is complex" said Kibayoshi trying to show her side of things to Rei and Shingotsu on her power levels with wind, moving slightly causes wind and attacks in itself.
"Shingaara has been treating me fairly well after meeting you .. and it hasnt changed since .. " added Kibayoshi to Rei and Shingotsu as Shingaara talked to Baraku, the spirit keeping still with her eyes half closed and body floating there slightly off the ground.
Meanwhile by Gato and Baraku.
"As head of the Kuchiki clan .. you must be aware of a cirtain someone in your squad and family yes?" asked Shingaara leaning back in his chair with his paws coming together, the robes around him and sword in his lap still, the spirit out of the blade talking to others nearby. He was speaking of Isana, the weilder of one of the legendary blades like his own, the blade of lightning very strong but the girl forbidden to use it by her own opinion and others, Isana not ready yet to handle its power.
A little chat about Isana and Baraku could go, the Head Captain ready to keep Rei busy with a sparring session or training with wind, Shingaara busy but trying to make time for others..

Those with power are called to use it. When Baraku came in, Rei smiled and bowed his head respectfully. Knowing that Gato was willing to help him train, even when he had his own work to do, made Rei smile a bit wider. "Sir. I will do some paperwork until you have finished your business. It's well past overdue by now. Ehehehe..." The man rubbed the back of his head and closed his eyes, a comical sweat drop rolling down the side of his face. He walked to his paperwork tray, which was on Gato's desk, and pulled all of his work from it. "Kibayoshi-san, we can move to the roof if you'd like. It would be a bit less constricting there for you. And I usually do my work on the roof anyway. More relaxing." And with that, Rei vanished into a flashstep to the roof. He wasn't ignoring Kibayoshi's comment about freedom and power, he was just leaving it to Shingotsu.
She had for the moment, however, become distracted by the slight limp of Baraku. " So, flirted with Jasmine again did you Baraku? I hope she got you good." She was smiling to indicate she meant no disrespect, and that she did find his lack of ability to learn his lesson entertaining. After a small laugh, she returned to Kibayoshi and smiled almost apologetically. "Well... we are the closest beings there are to freedom. And yet power is a shackle to those who posses it. To wield a strength is to be possessed by it. That's what you and Gato always taught me and Rei. It still holds true, even to the both of you. Now come out on the roof. I'll keep everything from blowing around while you move out there. Alright?" She was smiling as she raised her hands out by her sides, showing she was ready for Kibayoshi to move. Rei's paperwork was going to go EVERYWHERE if Shingotsu got her way.

Baraku Looked at Shingotsu and chuckled. "One cannot stay away from a beauty like Jasmine, Rei's lucky to have her" He said and then turned his attention back to shingaraa. "If you are Talking about Isana Kuchiki then I am Aware yes." He said with a nod. Isana Kuchiki was one of the few young Kuchiki members Baraku thought of like a Little sister. If she ever needed help with something then he would try his best to help her. "Ive heard that you are interested in her zanpakuto, Aji_suki?" He said. He then fixed his own Zanpakuto as he could feel it slipping, he didn't tighten it afer he had been flash stepping all over the seireitei.

~Ayumi~ Gato sat there with his paws together as he listened in on both Baraku and Rei with the two spirits behind him wanting to do stuff so he wished to make this one quick to wrap up. "Yes, that blade is very powerful ..its shikai equals a normal zanpakuto's bankai .. of course depending on how much she's learned and how capable she is of controling it .. its best if you, family .. help her control the Shikai of that blade .. " said Shingaara calmly with a stern look on his face with his ears to the sides and eyes seemingly glaring as usual. The feline saw talent in her but he left any training and promotions upto Baraku, the head captain capable of promotions but didnt trust his judgement with people he was close to, usually leaving it upto a majority vote by other captains.
"She's stationed in Karakura warming up by doing live training out in the field .. anything Isana will be upto you, training .. promotions .. missions .. you decide .. for I dont trust myself with promotions when a friend or close client is involved .." he said looking to the side at the Seireitei with his paws together still, explaining that he will not promote friends like Ayumi or close intrests like Isana out of fear he might spoil them.
Kibayoshi seemed to be comfortable sitting still since bankai of Gato's seemed to be very stationary in style so the spirit watched as Rei ran off to the roof making her eye Shingotsu. Not much for talking she simply made a sphere with her large fingers with her eyes half closed making a barrier that she then rode out to the roof. Getting to the highest point on the roof the Seireitei had wind for a moment as she stopped and crossed her arms making her float slightly off the ground. "What gave you the idea to free a Zanpakuto Seshiro? .. Shingaara got it from you and we've been quite old fasioned about it" wondered Kibayoshi coming out of her shell a bit since she was always stubborn and stuck up about things like that, always thinking that the five legendary blades were the root of all Zanpakuto like fire, wind, water, lightning, and earth. The spirit and Shingaara were old fasioned yes but Rei and Shingotsu seemed new age, making him quite formitable as an opponent.

Baraku nodded to Shingaara. "Yes, Her Zanpakuto is very powerful, I was aware of that." He said as Shingaara continued. "Oh? I was wondering where she had gotten too..." He said when Shingaara said she was stationed in Karakura. "Alot of Hollow activity has been going on there, or so our reports say." He said. Baraku then nodded. "Yes, I will help train her, if she needs any other help then as a Family member and more importantly her Captain, i will give it to her." he said with a Bow to Shingaara. If That was all Shingaara wanted then Baraku would take his leave soon.
