I've hinted at the beings known as Ancients several times in my Bloodmoon rps, and in Silver's revival, these powerful biengs will break free. (note: those that read this and want to play an Ancient, first talk to xXSilver_Bloody_RoseXx, then to me.) But never has it been revealed what the world was like when the Ancients ruled, nor what power they possessed that drove Jager to attempt to free them in End of Days. Now, all will be revealed....

Long ago, when the world was young, there existed seven powerful beings known as the Ancients. Erose, Torval, Krekot, Tumas, Dumas, Nuurati, and Vultana. These seven beings each ruled one of the seven realms, and each commanded unimaginable power. Both revered at gods and feared as demons, humans and those gifted with powers did little more than buckle beneath their rule. For over 10 millennia, the Ancients went unopposed and unquestioned. But then, they began fighting amongst each other....

From the secret journal of Vladimir They are at it again. The Ancients's war with themselves is steadily destroying our world. Already we have lost one of our countries to their destruction. Morosa, where many of my friends lived, has been torn from the continent and either sunk to the bottom of the sea or transported far from its old home. I fear that humanity may well fall before these demons' rage... What is surprising though is that there are those who are aiding in the Ancients' fight! Thorval's followers are giving up their lives for him, and even waging war on those under Krekot's rule! It is a sad day for humanity when we fight amongst each other rather than our oppressors. Perhaps Jager was correct. Perhaps mankind is a lost cause. But no. I cannot let myself be dragged into my friend's pessimistic thoughts. If only there were a way to defeat the Ancients.

Vladimir put down the quill he was writing with and hastily hid the diary when a knock came from the door to his chambers. "Come in!" he called. The door opened and in stepped Jager, looking rather disheveled. "Cooped up in here again bookworm?" he said to his friend. "Just because the world is ending doesn't mean you can't have fun. Stop burying your head in those books and come outside." "Jager, these books-." "Don't have some hidden way to stop the wars or else someone would have found it by now. It's been ten days since you left your house, come on!" Vladimir sighed and stood up, grabbing his cloak. "Perhaps you're right my friend." Jager grinned. "Hurry up, Zizie's waiting to see you." Vladimir blushed. Sharissa, or Zizie as her friends had taken to calling her, was a rather beautiful girl. It was well known that she and he had once been intimate, something Jager never let him forget. "And just what does the queen of ice want with a humble bookworm?" he said tersely, raising an eyebrow as he followed his friend out of the house. "Wouldn't say, but she hasn't stopped coming by my house all week demanding to know if you were there. You know, for a couple that apparently shares a mutual distaste of the other-." Vladimir silenced him with a smack to the back of his head. "It's in the past, Jager. So tell me, are the rumors true? Are there actually people who are trying to defeat the Ancients on their own?" Even secluded in his room as he was, information still managed to reach Vladimir's ears, and since Jager spent much of his time outside their small village travelling to other lands, he figured the best one to ask was him. "It seems like it." Jager would have said more, but they had reached the front door at that time and, to Vladimir's dismay, Zizie was waiting impatiently at the entrance.
