Personally, I've experienced it first hand. When I was a freshman in High School, I was standing in line to get my schedule when I heard a guy talking about not being able to be in dance because his mom wouldn't let him. He sounded like he was gay, and since I'd never met another gay guy before I turned to see who it was. From the moment I saw him, I knew I wanted to be with him. I don't know what it was about him, but I could feel my heart go into a frenzy at the sight of him.

We became friends, and it wasn't until I graduated High School that he and I got together. We stayed together for about two years together. Even though my story doesn't have a happy ending, and even though it broke my heart, I'm still grateful to him for loving me. They say no one can compare to your first love, and I have a feeling that's true.

I think the fact that my first love was a "love at first sight" experience brought my expectations too high. I'm not sure what to expect from my next relationship.

well my opinion on love at first sight is that if that ever happens to you don't take it that serious because then you can get heart broken ^^
