Armor/Clothing: Akako typically wears a dark blue jacket over her black bra, and a short black skirt that exposes the front of her legs. She also wears knee-high leather boots and commonly carries a katana across her back and a small pouch clipped to her skirt. Her jacket, boots and skirt are waterproofed.
Personality: Akako's personality is hard to describe. She likes to be her own boss. Most of the time she's cold and collected, hardly talking to anyone but those she's close to-- but depending on the situation, she can be both fun and happy or scary and angry. Empath would be a good word to describe her.
Bio: Akako was originally born on Cyrus 34, but a few days later her parents decided to return to Septara, where her father Kuro was born. After arriving there, the family was extremely ridiculed for having an 'Impure' child and wife-- Impure people being those not born on noble planets. It was even said that the Impures contaminated the air of planets other than the ones they were born on. After about a week of this segregation, Kyo (Akako's mother) took her and left to Cyrus 34, leaving Kuro to live with his people. A few years later, Kyo died of drowning --she had been born on Cyrus 67, so she couldn't breathe underwater-- and left her daughter all alone.
Life was hard, being a kid and having to fend for yourself. She learned the hard way that children didn't have any rights at all on this planet. She was looked down upon by everyone she was near. All the other people her age had parents and acted like nobles. It wasn't fair.
After months of wandering, Akako found a store floating on the surface of the world's ocean. In the window was a sign that read 'Now hiring: anyone who can dive deep underwater' Of course she was interested. She would make money and have something to do. Maybe even a place to sleep at night. She walked into the store and was greeted by an old man. After talking for a while, it became apparent that this man sold items and animals found underwater-- except his last employee had quit, and he didn't have the ability to breathe underwater. He accepted her as his employee for 20% of everything sold. To keep her new job, she'd have to bring in at least five items per day.
Akako did this for a few years until the old man died and left the business to her. She was seventeen years old at the time, almost accepted by the people around her (it was at this time her aging started to slow) She changed the name of the shop to 'Rarities' and was able to make much more money now that she had before, seeing as she got 100% of the sold items instead of only 20. Since then, it's become harder to find the items she used to and she's lost money.
Akako barely remembers her early years of life, just yelling and plants and shades of red. She doesn't even know who her father is.
Education: Elementary school
Job: Akako doesn't really have a designated job, but she does sort of have one. She dives down under the water to find rare fish and plants/shells to sell. Surprisingly, she makes a lot of money off of this. She owns a store called Rarities that floats near the Marketplace at all times.
Weapons: As aforementioned, Akako carries a katana strapped to her back. It is about three feet in length; the guard has roses carved into it.
