My name is Toge and I am the Captain/ Moderator in the guild. I would like to think I'm somewhat experianced in the LARPing/Renactment/Boffersports field. I'm eager to meet more people who have simmler interests as me.
Stuff I've done: Kingdom of Cornicopia (a live steal renactment based arround Spain in the early 1300. Heavy emphasis on horsemanship.) I've also done a few Revolutinary War renactments. I wasn't actually on the field fighting, but I stayed in the tent area as an errand boy)
Stuff I'm currently involved in: Dagorhir (a boffer Sport loosely based on Lord of the Rings), SimTerra (A post-apocliptic-fantasy LARP)
Stuff I'm working on being involved in: WW2 renactment Russian side, and Avalon.
I make most of my own garb and armor. And I run my own Dagorhir Outpost in Southern VA
If you have any questions or anything, feel free to contact me.

Hello I'm a LARPer from Sweden so i don't know much about what you guys are talking about ^_^. I have no idea what kind of larps there is the US. I've been a very active player for about four years now and usually play in fantasy larps, but as a human. I hope you'll excuse my english, I can't spell I know.
It's so fun that i've finally found a larp guild here at gaia ^_^. I hope to hear lots about the way you play.

Whoah.... Someone actually asked me, little inactive me, to join a guild! Heh...
Oh, introductions: Hello there. I'm Liqu (stage name) and I'm from Schweden. There are many LARPers here. Anyways, I'm a 23-year old girl who plays for the psychological bit more than anything else really (oh, and I love forests...).
So far, I've been a LARPer for about... nine years. No wait, ten. And I've been very active. Last few years have been rather poor, so I haven't been out on many at all... None, to be frank.
Stuff I've done: Fantasy LARP Vampire the Masquerade LARP Changeling the Dreaming LARP Science fiction LARP (one)
...and I play a damned lots of RPGs... and WoW... dammit, where is my own life?

I'm Katje and I've been participating in Boffer/LARP/Renactment for several years now and I absolutely love it! I wish I would have gotten involved sooner.
I'm currently active in Dagorhir and Belegarth (which are very much alike) and I belong to a unit in Michigan called The Militia (The Militia is a unit made up of mostly evil characters. I play as a vampire, but I wouldn't exactly call my character evil. More of a neutral). Although, as of late, I've been doing some traveling on my own to better aquaint myself with some of the other Dagorhir and Belegarth Realms and Units in the area. It's been awhile since I've had the chance to practice with my Militia friends sad BUT, I have had the chance to meet all kinds of amazing LARP/boffer people ! biggrin
When I was a little younger I used to do Civil War and War of 1812 renactments. I had friend who's parents were very involved in renacting so I would tag along.
I've always been intersted in acting and costumes and alternate personas. So LARP came very natural to me.
I make my own garb (as well as garb for friends and people who like to pay me razz ). You could say that I'm a garb enthusiast. I don't have any armor but I would LOVE to have some Samurai influenced stuff. I also take pictures! You can check out some of my picture galleries if you select the link in my signature.

Belegarth is a split off of Dagorhir. That is why they are so simmler. There was a big argument between the leaders of Dagorhir many years ago and it resulted in the founding of Belegarth. There are a lot of bad feelings between the two because of some drama, but I try to hold my judgement because I'm only really geting one side of the story.

Yeah, I know all about the politics (which I try to avoid). I've heard both sides and I can't decide who is right and who is wrong so I just try to have a good time with both of the games. I have good friends from both and enjoy eventing and since they are so much alike, it makes it easier to make the transition (since there really is none, save for a few of the rules and terms used). It's all the same to me.
