Belle awoke with a glimmer of sun shining on her eyes, instead of rolling away in annoyance as many would do she opened her eyes to the light. A smile on her face as she saw the sun glistening over the treetops of Fantasy Academy. She slipped out from under the covers, her feet sliding into her slippers as she glanced to the bed. The other half was neatly left folded by Chancellor, who seemed to be far gone by the look of the room. She reached out to a bed post that held a sweet but small sash that draped around the roof of their bed. From the bed post she wrapped a golden robe around her, enjoying the warmth that now warded off the slight chill of an early morning. Her slippers padded softly on the wooded floor as she saw the cause of the chill, bringing her arms out as she closed the window, rolling her eyes slightly. Isabella liked the night air and probably opened the window because she discovered upon the eve of their arrival this window had the best breeze.
She adjusted her robe around her slightly and walked around her bed, seeing a single parchment with some writing scrawled upon it that lied on Chancellor's end table. Quickly walking towards it she saw two different handwriting's upon it. The first one in a fancy cursive that read; I have taken your son, Chancellor the Second to Combat Training with me, I hope this isn't a bother.
Au Revoir dear Queen ~King Charming~
The second was a simple and plain handwriting with flourished curves out of the letters when the end of a word was reached; I have given King Charming permission to take Chance(their nickname for the boy) to his class, I am bringing Lily with me to my class. Best of luck on your first day dear.
Belle smiled at these notes and took up the paper in her hand, letting the flat paper fall into a recycling basket that lay concealed by her door cleverly as a chest. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hardly an hour passed and she was prepared for her class which was to begin in about half an hour. She wore on her a simple dress, shoes with a simple gold carving along them that walked in a flat manner upon the ground. Her dress was similar to the one she used to wear around town. A light blue skirt that brushed along her feet as she walked, a white blouse that wrapped around her and seamlessly attached to the skirt. Her hair in light waves wrapped around her face.
She picked up a book from her end table that lied near her side of the bed and began to walk towards her classroom. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ She heard light chatting come from the classroom as the doors graciously opened in front of her, a well polished "whoosh" filling the air. The chatting was indeed coming from her classroom, few taking notice to their teacher entering the room. She continued to walk down the steps of the auditorium as her eyes lightly danced along the book she was holding. Quickly taking in the words as the last few pages of the book lightly flapped under her fingers. "Good morning Mrs. Rose."
She put a hand signaling 'one moment' as she flipped to another page, the hand signaling 'one moment' holding still until her foot reached the final step. The hand that gave said signal flipping to the last page as her eyes ever more quickly danced along and down the page. A smile on her face as the last page returned to the others, the back cover falling upon the stage with an audible smack.
She turned to her class, all of whom now were silenced by her silent entry, from the faces that revealed themselves to her (the ones that weren't glancing down to their notebooks and schedules), they all seemed rather excited.
She stood in front of the stage, leaning her back against the rail that revealed the orchestra below. Looking all across the large auditorium as the mic picked up her voice and sent it throughout the room. "Good morning, class."
