This is where students take their P.E. Class, as well as run around and exercise in their free time.

She could see the weight room, in the far corner and other exercise equipment around. She smiled to herself and began to feel more at home. She knew more about training than she did of libraries and books. Some things weren't so different about the mansion.
Casually, Kali walked over to the weight room and peered in. The mansion certainly spared no expense on the equipment. Again, she smiled and gave a sigh. She ran her fingers over the weights and iron bars. She wasn't super strong but she could lift a bit.
Her feet led her to the chin up bar and the punching bag along the wall.
Home, sweet, home.
She began lifting herself on the chin bar.

She smirked and set her feet on the ground. She watched the throws and considered the man to actually know what he was doing, unlike man of the soldiers she had trained with. Something about the way he walked, suggested that he had some military background. However, his face brought no rush of information.
Kali stayed, where she was, on the wall, and reached into her boot, pulled out a throwing knife and flicked it to the same target Zero was tossing knives at. It was a glancing blow, but it easily hit the heart of the target.
Her eyes flickered but she was more amused than annoyed. She didn't mind being invisible but knives, she just couldn't resist.

"Those were some nice throws," she said. Her voice wasn't soft, but she tried to soften it for him. She usually didn't care but she could understand this situation. "You're flicking to hard though," she said eying one or two of the stray knives.
She glanced up at the chin bar and started lifting herself up, again. It was easy, but she wanted to keep herself busy so he would not get nervous.

"Kali," she told him. "I'm a new student, here."
She decided against giving her last name, considering he seemed militant, and there was a chance he could recognize it. Not that it mattered, if he looked hard enough, he would find it. Her name wasn't on many records, available to the public.
Her hands returned to normal and she let go of the bar. She studied the man and tried to avoid sizing him up. He didn't seem a threat, physically. Though, she knew better than to underestimate a mutant.

Strange...
Kali gave a nod when the man said his name was, Zero. She wasn't sure that she ever thought it was nice to meet someone, so she didn't return the compliment.
Her emerald eyes danced across the room, looking for something else to do. She didn't need target practice. In fact, she wasn't supposed to have her knives on her. She had slipped a few past Scott, but she knew that time would tell how long she could keep the blades safe.
Kali wasn't a person of many words, when she had nothing to say. So, she said nothing but decided to rest her arms and watch Zero, for a minute.

Logan marched straight up to the boy, ignoring Kali for the moment. "So you're our new...recruit, huh?" he asked, but by his hesitation, Zero knew he didn't wanna say 'recruit' but something else. "Well, I don't care one way or the other, I'm just talking to you so that someone would know that Scott's coming here to evaluate you, and someone might wanna be careful with what they have that they shouldn't..." Without warning, he spins around, extending his claws, and faces Kali. "Pop quiz, girl. Scott's got the boy, I've got you."

⇢ frøm thε αshεs » A FIRE SHALL BEWOKEN « Kali's eyes went straight for the door when she heard it begin to open. Immediately, her eyes darkened, dangerously, and she couldn't help the little flames in her eyes, when she saw Logan march through. She didn't like him, he didn't like her...They had already established that. Throwing a knife at Scott, in retrospect, wasn't the greatest idea, but, in her defense, she didn't kill him when she could have.
She watched Zero's reaction to Logan, which didn't seem to be much of a reaction. She knew Logan's profile. He had a certain way with people and it wasn't usually good. Better to leave someone in shock than to really put them out.
She thought she was safe. She didn't know how she thought she was out of the shark water, because it was Logan. She knew he wouldn't be leaving her alone and she really had hoped to avoid him. She glanced at the knives on the wall and saw that her blade was a lot different than Zero's. Logan would probably notice that too, which could mean trouble. Lots and lots of trouble.
She tilted her head to the left, slightly and crossed her arms to avoid the temptation of flying fists. He hadn't done anything yet. Then he extended his claws. Immediately, on instinct, Kali uncrossed her arms and crouched in a fighting position, her legs slightly bent. Fists of flames by her hips.
"I haven't even started classes, yet," she said with a menacing smirk. "Already we're trying to test me. I thought we already did that."
She didn't want Logan to 'have' her. She didn't want anyone to 'have' her. The last time someone did, there was a lot of trouble. She was trying to avoid that. Trying to get away from that life. So far, it wasn't working. Kali was quickly learning that change wasn't something instant.

"You suggest," she asked, plainly. She shook her head slightly and then nodded in Logan's direction. "I'm not in the mood for suggestions."
