There should be an online game about butterflies in some beautiful fantasy world, but then the actual game is ridiculously gory and you gain experience by ripping the wings off of other players, and death is permanent. You also have finishing moves which involve tearing other butterflies in half.

plus all butterflies have terrifying screams that they emit when fighting and dying.

*ROWWWAAAAARRRRGGGHH*

death being permanent is usually a bad idea for online games unless you are utilizing a hardcore mode; such as that found in diablo 2's battlenet.

actually a few games incorporate this. Realm of the Mad God is one. You should take a look at it. It's free. If your player dies, you must pick a new character and start from scratch. It's fast-paced enough that it's not a huge deal though. Depends on how much time you wish to invest in your game, really.
