At least that's what I'm calling this effer.

(copy pasted from msn cos I don't feel like retyping all of this.)
Quote:
guy comes into my work on wednesday evening. had random conversation like I do with customers.. he initiated cos he asked about my car and if I got it running okay again. I figured he was in the previous days and heard me talking about the battery dying on me.. well as it would turn out he eventually said something along the lines of driving past my house almost daily.
[side bar- regular commute or not you don't tell someone that.]
that kind of weirded me out a bit but I didn't think much of it just assuming he saw me when I was fighting with it andlet it be.. til I remembered when I got home.. I remember him riding past.. I had thought to myself if he took a picture it'd last longer cos he was ******** staring...
so his comment creeped me out... and remembering that he had rode past creeped me out..
I was trying not to worry about it on Thursday. told mom what happened with the guy being a creeper and all
well.. Thursday night.. I'm in my living room talking to the boyfriend and just having an okay night. I hear a car pull up... it was late (after 11) and I got a bit nervous cos I couldn't tell if it was here orthe neighbors.
I looked out my window and saw a dome light or something so I got scared.. grabbed my mace and started almost pacing
person came and knocked on my door.. at first I thought oh maybe it's someone for the previous tenants.. so I said who is it? the guy said some random as eff nickname as if I knew who it was I said I don't know that I know who you are. he said he guy from the store last night, we talked about your car.
I about freaked. I asked why he was here, he said he wanted to make sure I was okay. I said I'm perfectly fine. I walked off from the door and called my mom hysterical as he left
I didn't open my door thankfully.. but gah..
then I called the cops.
mom and step-dad got here within ten minutes if that.. cops... it was 11:18 when I called 911... it was almost midnight when the cops pulled in

Woah! I can kind of empathize on this topic. I had a stalker a long time ago. He would hitch hike to sit across the street from my house when I was 18-ish. He would hang out at my work ALL THE TIME and since I worked at hobby shops that had an open door policy for public gaming, I really couldn't do much about it. He became friends with my brother. He became friends with my best friend. He wrote me a scary-arsed letter saying he loved me, recounting the first time he met me, how he devised this plan to make friends with my bf (whom he saw hanging out with me all the time) to get to know me better, how he wanted to rape and kill me (WTF?!)
Then I called him out on his b.s. on my break at work one day and he started crying and yelling and smacking his head into a wall. O_O
After a while, I guess he started stalking someone else (helps to move) because I didn't hear from him. Then, 6 years later, after I had my son, and just had moved in with a friend a week prior, I came home from work and he was on my couch. I asked what he was doing there and he said he found out I lived there and came to say "hi". I essentially ripped him a new one and told him to get the eff away from me and my family or I was calling the cops, etc. Haven't seen him since.

*phew*

That was sucky. So what is the verdict with your stalker? Did the cops catch up to him?

Oh wow.. yours sounds scary as eff.. The cops haven't yet.. but once the investigator calls me they will have his tag number. My step-dad literally scared the pee out of him. XD

He told him he wasn't to go to my work again nor was he to come near my house again. ^^

I would also like to add, sites like facebook really make stalking easy for people because of apps and their sneaky ways of retrieving personal information through your friends lists. Double check to make sure that all of your online affiliations are set to private or friends only, etc. in case that is where this guy truly came from.
I don't know how people could publicly use the location app. It's like putting a big red bow on your head for a would be stalker.

Yeah.. all my stuff is private anyway. This guy is literally a total stranger... Otherwise my step-dad would have said something if he knew any of us....
