Kaeylienn stops and eyes the armored Tessen in front of him as the other spoke. Narrowing his own pink eyes slightly, he swishes his tails once again before speaking. "My purpose is indeed to see if I am worthy of serving Lord Nobunaga. I assume you are the one doing the recruiting, yes?" He says, eying the other for a moment again.

Kaeylienn narrows his eyes slightly at the playfully mocking tone, tails swishing slightly behind him as he turns his head to track the other as he circled him. "Because he isn't afraid to take on all challenges. To go for what he wants with everything he has with a ferocity that freezes most men in their tracks, if what I've heard is true." His cold pink eyes watch Mimare for a moment before he speaks again. "I will do whatever it takes to prove myself loyal to Lord Nobunaga."

Kaeylienn thinks on this for a moment, then gives a slight shrug, his bright tails flicking again. "I did not go to Lord Nobunaga himself because with how humans perform their own interviews, I'm left scrambling for answers since they ask the oddest damn questions or phrase things differently. What is the point of having such interviews if you throw away a possibly powerful tool in the process just because they don't answer one of those random questions satisfactorily enough? I see it like this. I follow orders to the best of my ability, in fighting and anything else I'm told to do. I'm not as smart as some, but I AM strong and fierce as can be." He snorts and flicks his eyes away, tails swishing again. No, he indeed wasn't smart, or so he'd been lead to believe with the constant teasing he'd grown up with about his coloring. He'd made a bit of a name for himself in his small village though, for being, as it was put to him once, 'As strong as an ox and just as smart'. He was sure he could over-power almost any other kitsune that crossed his path. Almost any.

Kaeylienn was nodding, up until he heard the other call him sparkles. Narrowing his eyes with a snarl, he jumps to his feet, not caring at the time that this was the GENERAL of Lord Nobunaga's army, and lunges at the other with most of his strength, his intent to knock the armored male off his feet and make the other take back the insult. Whether this would work, however, he hadn't thought through, because again, intelligence and thinking were not his strong suits. He charged, almost as an angry bull would, with his head partially lowered and in line with his stocky shoulders, putting as much strength into his lunge as he could.

Kaeylienn's head came up as he eyed the general again, not a hint of remorse in his entire posture about the fact that he had just attacked a high-ranking member of the army. Hearing the praise, he backs up a step, giving Mimare more space to get back up on his feet. His head hurt the slightest bit from where it had impacted with the others armor, but he shrugged it off, as he did every injury he acquired. He tilts his head to the side slightly, not quite understanding if this was an acceptance into Lord Nobunaga's army or just an appraisal of his strength.

Kaeylienn supressed another growl as the other called him sparkles again, narrowing his eyes as he pushes aside his rage and instead races after Mimare, fur bristling almost as if daring anyone else to make comments about him. While he did live for fighting, he wasn't one to attack when his opponent's back was turned. It was one of the few rules he lived by, no matter how badly he wanted to attack the other again for the name. He had a feeling that it was going to be a regular occurrence with the general and he grit his teeth at the thought. He supposed he could bottle all that rage and unleash it on the unsuspecting saps they fought against. If he could learn to control his temper, that is.
